Looks like Bones has been practicing his Diego “Mean Face”

How can you even compare the Diego mean face to that? Diego would be ashamed.

Edgar/Veach sounds stupid to me. Edgar is on a tear and needs stiffer comp imo.

Agree

Seems like a step down for Edgar. A wins a win but this win doesn’t exactly do too much for Frankie, while losing on the other hand would be devastating for him, just send him tumbling down off his tear. Mind you I think Edgar takes this one with a UD

thats what I was looking an thinking at too. Veach HAD to be a replacement for someone. But I’m just too lazy to go dig through Mania’s archives. Maybe if Mania helped us out a bit.. hint hint. lol

But man, compared to the TUF 9 finale, this card looks Michelob Ultra-wuss pansy bad. I’m just like, ughhh… Way to cap a crappy TUF season with an equally crappy TUF finale. haha.

He was supposed to be fighting Batman

Veach was a replacement for Kurt Pelligrino, a fight I was looking forward to. But like every fight I have been looking forward to lately someone is injured of sick.

congrats ppwwpp on the spelling of 'losing'

Lol refreshing to see that word spelled correctly. I’ve been LOOSING it lately on ppl for that :)

I’ve got Jones in this as well. I can see hammil doing it yes. I mean he’s got a very good chin IMO, but its nice to see some fresh contenders, we need more anyways. I’m pulling for him. A big ko will send a big msg to 205 in terms of contention spots.

& I too am surprised we don’t have an official kimbo vs Houston commercial flying around on spike on a regular.

I don't get why so many people spell it wrong

There is about 50% of the posters in here that don’t know that loosing is wrong.

not just on here jay

So annoying. My facebook status updates are littered with “I hope I don’t loose tonight”, etc. And I’m yet to meet a girl that can spell it correctly.

I agree but

if I’m not mistaken Veach is a last minute replacement for another fighter correct?

Mania--

ON Sherdog it says Matt Veach is 11-0, not 14-4

Really?

So you dont think Jones is a top prospect? I think he is way too quick for Hamill.

top is the word

i think this kid is the future of the lhw division.sick greco wrestling, sick hip throws, unpredictable stand up.i love watching this dude fight!!

by scott1 on Nov 27, 2009 11:22 AM EST up reply actions

I think he is a good fighter but until he beats someone like Hamill he doesnt have my full respect.

by ElStIkO on Nov 27, 2009 11:30 AM EST up reply actions

Has Hamill used his wrestling in the UFC yet?

I think he needs to grind Bones for a round or two here. Hamill doesn’t gas, he’s always that slow. He needs this to carry into the third round to have any chance at beating Jones.

Kimbo/Houston actually going down?

Its just over a week away and still no official word, what is the deal? With the Gonzaga injury, maybe they are thinking of bumping this to the Jan 2nd card? I dont get how we can be this close without official word from the UFC.

by Gambling Pat on Nov 27, 2009 10:53 AM EST reply actions

I'm thinking the samething.....

the Kimbo episode on TUF was promoted for weeks but now he is fighting a UFC fighter in the UFC and still no promos?

by Robert(1) on Nov 27, 2009 11:46 AM EST up reply actions

that's because...

…we are still supposed to believe that Kimbo has a shot at making it to the finals, so there will be no official announcement for this fight until Thursday!

by Mascarita on Nov 27, 2009 1:00 PM EST up reply actions

....

If Hamill beats him he will be fighting top 5 guys after that as Bones Jones is so skilled. Jones will TKO him

WANDY RIP
