They best make this happen soon. Carwin and cain would be balling. I love carwin but i dont think he could handle cains pace

Brown Pride Hype

I think the Brow Pride is just a way to hype the hyspanic market. Cain appears to be a great fighter and a pretty level headed guy. I think Cain vs Carwin would be a great fight and should be done because no one wants to see Shane sit for a year awaiting a fight with Brock, if and when he returns.

Exactly!

No way this guy should be considered for an interim title contest. In the first place, interim title contests are traditionally between the previous champ and the current #1 contender. With Randy, Nog, and Mir still around, it would be a farce not to have a beltholder in that fight. Carwin is the only other name that should be considered and that only because he was declared No 1 Contender (which I disagree with). What puts Brown Pride ahead of Junior Dos Santos. JDS has decisive wins over Werdum and CroCop, certainly more impressive than wins over Kongo and Rothwell. Velasquez should be fighting JDS. The only reason he’s getting more hype and a skip to the front of the line is his marketability to Mexicans/Mexican-Americans. I’d lay 2-1 JDS will knock him out.

Go ahead and fight Barney for the right to keep a fake belt warm until Brock comes back to wipe out your entire division.

I'm kind of a big deal.

i wanna like brock, i even thought him getting ill would at least make me like him on a sympathy vote but the mans a dick, what i would do to see cro cop climb back up the contention ladder and retire after ko"ing brock with one of his famous left high kicks, man thats what dreams are made of,

If Cain could get Brock to the ground

I think Cain could give him a stiff contest

Goooooo-mez!

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts then we’d all be happy at Christmas.

I'm kind of a big deal.

by P-Dub on Nov 24, 2009 9:22 PM EST up reply actions

That's not even an 'if'

It goes to the ground if Brock decides it goes to the ground. Brown Pride has no say in the matter. Neither he nor anyone else can stop a Lesnar takedown.

I'm kind of a big deal.

Cain's got nothing

that Couture didn’t have. He’s just a younger, less experienced version of Randy, and probably not as strong and with less punching power. Brock will pound him into Brown Pud.

P DUBS got it!

You can hate all you want but you saw brock dominate mir, how can anyone think cane could win. I’m as surprised as can be about how good brock looks but the truth is he does look real good, if he comes back healthy its fedor or nothing, no other heavyweight can match him. And he’s still getting dramaticaly better each fight.

Shouff always like your little comments…Cain size poop! I was being a little to generous with the 30# call huh~

Nog's to old

Ilove Nog and would love to see this fight but I’d still bet lesnars farm against him. I see him crumbling to brocks power, I know brocks loss to mir gives the impression that submision is the way to get him again, but I think he’s past that stage of his career. A guy like carwin may have a chance to match his power. He just looks so dominant and again he’s been training a couple years. I can’t imagine a healthy brock 3 or 4 years down the road losing to anyone.Cain isn’t the right match up, I think kongo even has a better chance, maybe a lucky kick to the head and some gnp while he’s stunned. I just see brock getting better and better eery fight and that’s scary.

by DrewMoney$$$ on Nov 25, 2009 1:07 PM EST via mobile reply actions

Cain grows on you

Especially after the Rothwell fight. It’s evident that he can control the pace of a fight and isn’t just a wrestler who can’t do much when he gets the guy to the ground. I’d like to see him improve in striking and take the UFC HW title! Didn’t like him before but had to give him a lot of props after seeing him in interviews and the way he man-handled Rothwell in the fight.
