Baroni is 13-12 in his win/loss record. With another loss, The New York Badass is going to be 13-13 which, for a UFC fighter, looks pretty terrible. I love the guy though because he is quite the showman.

i just dont understand ufc logic…sign frank trigg and phil baroni but let hendo go..makes perfect sense

jake shields is the highest ranked fighter to have never fought i highly ranked fighter...i cant wait till hendo signs to strikeforce and murders that talentless waste of flesh

You can get 5 Baroni fights for the price of one Hendo fight

Neither of them will win the title. Neither of them are going to sell out an arena. Making sense yet? It’s all money, not talent.

Hey! Baroni has more charisma in his shades than Hendo has anywhere

And I am a fan of Dan Henderson. Win or lose, Baroni is going to put a show for the fans (or gas out trying to).

Interesting that Kos and Dana have had some problems, presumably it stems from the video game when Fitch was almost sacked (thankfully cooler heads i.e. Lorenzo prevailed) for not signing on, all of the AKA guys seemed to have a problem with Undisputed 09. The fact that Kos, Fitch and Swick won’t fight each other has to have caused some problems as well. At least neither have made a big deal about it and got on with working together, that thing shouldn’t be made public.

Lil Nog is the man, he looked superb last night. Hopefully he gets Forrest or Tito next, unless them 2 rematch, in which case he can take on Rashad-Thiago. Nog proved that he’s the real deal, he smashed Cane and is going to be a top contender at 205. I’d like to see him rematch Soko one day because I’m 100% convinced that he’d win a rematch.

I’d much rather Lil Nog vs Rashad/T.Silva than vs Forrest, just because I dont want Forrest to lose again already. And a win over the other pair would mean more and give a bigger step to the title.

LIL NOG= Title shot in next 2 fights.

Lil Nog was well impressive, he’s got awesome stand up. It could be the 1st brother combo to have held UFC belts :)

big nog only held an interim title

So technically it wouldn’t count.

Zuffa counted the interim belt as a UFC title when they promoted Big Nog as the first guy to win titles in Pride and the UFC.

Both are good enough to become champions as well, though because of Andy’s friendship with the Nog Bros I don’t know whether Machida will ever face Lil Nog, Shogun will have to win the belt (and not get cheated by the judges) for Nog to get that chance. I wouldn’t be surprised if Big Nog let JDS get a shot over him, as he’s already had his time in the spotlight and he’s a classy enough guy to step aside for his protege. Both of them would give Brock fits.

Zuffa may have counted it

But moron fans won’t. Most people will agree with you, but the idiots have an opening now to dispute it. Which they will for no reason other than to argue.

Training Partners

Lil Nog and Lyoto are training paretners and just as the situation with lyoto/silva they will never fight, sadly. BUT Shogun will hopefully be the champ soon so lil nog can get his shot! what a fight that would be!

Tito/Franklin, Lil Nog/Randy, Forrest/Cain
and
Anthony Johnson/Semtex Dailey

Tito and Forrest as TUF coaches

wouldn’t be a bad idea i think.

Unrelated, but I really think its time for Sotiropoulous to get tested in the UFC. He’s undefeated, but every guy he beats gets booted from the company.
