Here's How its really gonna go

Forrest
Johnson. (I think Kos gets cocky and tries to strike with him.)
Kain
Baroni. (Amir has a cardboard chin)
Davis
Rosholt

by OM20 on Nov 21, 2009 4:48 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

What are you kidding me?

How dose Amir have a cardboard chin?
He got hit by a nice uppercut that drop him to the floor then followed up with six punches to the back of the head. Then he somehow managed to get back to his feet. But the ref stops it cause he had a bad angle and you question his chin come on man watch it again please before you says shit like that.
Anyway here are my picks
FORREST SD LOL
JOHNSON R2 TKO
LIL NOG R3 SUB
AMIR R2 TKO (Baroni will gas)
DAVIS TKO R1
ROSHOLT UD

And Baroni hits twice as hard as the dude who dropped him the first time. Worst. TUF Champ. Ever.

I'm kind of a big deal.

by P-Dub on Nov 21, 2009 9:01 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Yes your right

But i never says anything about Baroni punching power. Am well awear of the fact he’s a heavy hitter.
I would on the other hand like to say that in noway shape or form dose Amir have a cardboard chin. That was all i was trying to state.
It is also way to early to call him the worst tuf winner yet as he has had only one fight so we should still give that honor to Danzig lol.

by Jamie The Peach Hunter on Nov 21, 2009 11:14 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I wasn’t sorry to see the Smug Vegan get tossed, but the reality is Danzig was far more accomplished in his career than Sadollah. He really shouldn’t have even been on TUF with that bunch of spares he was matched up with.

I'm kind of a big deal.

by P-Dub on Nov 21, 2009 1:15 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Well maybe he shouldn’t have been on the show but he still won it didnt he?
So why dont you just wait and see if he will be any good in the ufc instead of just writing him off altogether because of his first fight (after tuf) were i thought it was bullshit reffing that lost him that fight not his chin or his fighting skill.

by Jamie The Peach Hunter on Nov 21, 2009 1:27 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Jamie

Do baseball scouts wait until they see a young pitcher throw a complete game against the Yankees to figure out if the guy has what it takes to be a star? Are you not able to see talent in other individuals? Amir isn’t good enough at any single aspect of fighting. Sure, he has ok kickboxing and is semi-competent on the ground. But he won’t make it very far with his skill set. I think it’s pretty clear that he won’t be making a title run in the UFC, or even a top 10 run. I also don’t believe that Amir can blame the referee for his getting punched in the face. He crumpled from being punched and the ref saved him from taking further damage. That is what they are paid to do. Did anything in that fight give you the feeling that Amir was going to come back and start winning that fight? I think he is a likable guy, but that’s all he has going for him.

Wha?

Am I crazy? I thought Tito was shorter than Forrest. Tito looks thin.

Kos will take this one and I can’t wait to see Forrest lose that dumbass smile.

Johnson actually made weight!

Should be a hell of a fight!

AJ looks a little more drained than usual.

AJ will be fine by fightnight

AJ will needle up with the IV, and put on 15 lbs in no time, he’ll be fully rehydrated by fight night.

by THORAZINE on Nov 20, 2009 9:06 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Kos wins

If he is smarter enough to stick to a game plan for once. I can’t wait to see Tito fight again, just to see where he’s at. I think he could work his way back up to top 7 LHW.

P-Dub omfg lmfao

dude you just made me laugh soh i fucking cried. KK, yea he finished off Ken Shamrock…. butttt to compare who Tito finishes and put down strongly. He put down a fuckin old ass Ken Shamrock… lmmfao when was the last time he fought anyone decent? I mean besides Ken Shamrock, of course. lets see b4 he faught Griffin the first time he had smashed : Belfort, Cote, and after Forrest lost his first time…. fuckin Tito smashed an old ass beaten down Ken Shamrock 2x making it 3-0 Tito. Another thing bro…. your gunna talk shit about how he has not faught n e one great since Ken Shamrock… make shure you do your homework…. And rewatch the fuckin Evans vs Ortiz again…. UFC Stacked i think 73 or 72. A fuckin point deduction was all it took for Ortiz to lose to fuckin Rashad…. even fuckin match then he lost to the current fuckin champ. If you watch the Lyoto match again…. he was confused throughout the whole fight. and if it had 2 more rounds a decision would have been different. I’m a fan of mma and i dont appreciate when ppl dont know what the fuck their talkin bout

by SmokeDro123 on Nov 20, 2009 10:17 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

And half a dozen fence grabs was all it took for Tito to avoid getting slammed and pounded from the start of the fight. Besides, I’m pretty sure the Rashad that Forrest fought was significantly better than the Rashad Tito fought.

I'm kind of a big deal.

by P-Dub on Nov 20, 2009 10:57 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Ya the rashad forrest fought would knock Tito the fck out this time no doubt and I hate Rashad as much as I hate Tito so there is no bias here.

Tito is coming back with a vengeance!

Tito by savage Ground-N-Pound! I see Forrest getting taken down at will and eating elbows, he’ll be lucky if he makes it to the second round.

Keep dreaming

Wishful thinking from someone who hasn’t watched mma since 2003.

Beat Forrest once, was seconds away from putting Machida to sleep and beat Rashad. Time for you to start watching some MMA kid!

by Sofa-King-Toasty on Nov 21, 2009 12:12 AM EST via mobile up reply actions   0 recs

typical tito fan

Keep livin off of tito almost putting machida to sleep, you know he got destroyed that fight, but of course its because of his back. I cant wait to hear Tito’s excuse after his next string of losses.

by mma guru on Nov 21, 2009 1:56 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

That’s all you got? Dude, you’re weak! Everyone, including Tito, knows Machida worked him in that fight but NO ONE ELSE has ever put Machida into that much danger. That says a lot about Tito’s skill, especially an aspect of his game that goes largely unnoticed: his bjj. But I guess a true MMA fan like you already recognized this.

by Sofa-King-Toasty on Nov 21, 2009 2:24 AM EST via mobile up reply actions   0 recs

Nah, Tito is Washed Up. We just need to wait 24 hours to confirm that. Machida got out of that armbar. Evens was green. And he barley beat forrest when forrest was a newb

by OM20 on Nov 21, 2009 5:03 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

DJ

I believe it was a triangle… either way, Tito didn’t have it locked in and Machida got out.

by DJ(MMA) on Nov 21, 2009 12:34 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

tito is a douche

Cant wait to see tito lose in his long awaited return, look out for the back excuse to come back if tito loses. Very interested to see if Johnson can ko koschek, I think he can and if it happens the welterweight division needs to look out.

by mma guru on Nov 20, 2009 11:23 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Kos will throw 3 punches have none of them land square, eat a glancing blow going in for the takedown and will get the double leg, do nothing on the ground but a few pepper shots ref will stand them rinse and repeat all round 1. round 2 AJ will then start to circle spraw and clip Kos for the upset.

by hatteras on Nov 21, 2009 12:18 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

AJ By Right Uppercut K.O.

Why does everyone think Koscheck is going to take down the Rumble??? I’m very confused, Rumble is huge and he’s a great wrestler.. He just never has to prove it because he K’s guys TFO. Koscheck will come in with a predictable overhand right and eat a perfectly timed uppercut by Johnson. Yes, I’m bias because I hate koscheck, but I actually believe Rumble will put out the W.. He’s well rounded and overall very powerful and explosive.. Johnson by K.O. Late round 1, or early round 2… Now I sit and wait..

by BlaiseBlaise on Nov 21, 2009 1:13 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

I'd still do Jenna Jameson

Picks:
Forrest
Johnson
Thiago
Sadalloh
Rogerio (although wont be surprised if its the other way around)
Saunders
Rosholt

Tito has cardio?

Will be interesting to see what Tito has this fight. His fight hype is a bit clumsy but I have to admit he looks fit. I can’t believe I am buying the UFC spin, but this fight has my interest. Someone be sure and post the stream, Obama keeps giving my money away.

by TapedUpPair on Nov 21, 2009 8:26 AM EST via mobile reply actions   0 recs

I see Cung Le in the background

Wonder if Dana tried to recruit him. Want Rumble to win but I see wrestling being the difference in this 1. Hopefully Kos feels he can stand with him.

by ElStIkO on Nov 21, 2009 1:20 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Kung Le is not worth recruiting

Aside from an over the hill Frank Shamrock he hasn’t beaten anyone.

by _Felix_ on Nov 21, 2009 3:20 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Shamrock is 36 not quite over the hill yet

Cung Le is quite tough still. Dangerous kicks.

by ElStIkO on Nov 21, 2009 6:48 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Compared to a prime Frank he is

Shamrock at one point was a p4p great, he looked unbeatable at LHW (old school MW) but these days he’s too small, old and slow, his hammering against Diaz proved that he’s nowhere near as good as he was back in the day. I wish he never came back because like his brother he’s ruining his reputation with his recent poor showings.

Cung Le sucks, he’s an overrated kickboxer with no relevant wins who thinks that he’s the next coming of Bruce Lee. He’s a crap actor and a crap fighter.
