Erik Apple vs. Bobby Voelker
Round one: Big exchange right off the back and Voelker gets dropped. Apple jumps on him and is relentlessly trying to finish him off. Somehow Voelker escapes back to his feet and weathers the storm with a clinch. Apple is working the dirty boxing from there as the action has slowed down since the fast start. They separate, trade right hands on the chin and go right back to the clinch. Apple attempts a takedown, but Voelker easily defends it. Voelker gets separation. He catches a kick from Apple and lands a nice right hand. Back to the clinch and now Apple gets the takedown. They trade a few body shots and Feijao starts in with some knees to Rosa's legs. Not a lot of action going on here as both fighters continue to battle for position. Boos can be heard from the crowd. Anderson Silva can also be heard screaming like a mad man from Feijao's corner. Finally the referee calls for a separation, much to the delight of the crowd. Rosa throws out a punch and Feijao goes right back to the clinch. He puts Rosa's back against the fence and starts in with more knees to the thigh. Now foot stomps. Takedown attempt from Feijao gets him nowhere. Nice job by Rosa. Not much action and the round ends with more boos from the crowd. Tough round to score.

Takedown right away for Feijao and he's raining down the ground and pound. Rosa gets him in full guard and is now defending nicely. Feijao is pushing Rosa towards the cage and Feijao gets caught red handed throwing a forearm to the head (illegal in Strikeforce.) That forces a stand up from the referee. Feijao pleads his case then gets right back to work. He lands a huge punch and Rosa is hurt. He drops to the canvas. The Brazilian pounces and easily finishes off the downed opponent. Pretty good ending to an otherwise lackluster fight. Big win for Feijao.

Although I’d like to see Couture get blasted with her chin up stand up.

As long as Kim doesn’t sustain any damage to her ass, other that what I do to it, I could care less.
I'm kind of a big deal.

I guess Felix wants every prospect to fight hard opposition at the beginning of their career while they still get used to training and fighting MMA.

At least certain prospects can try and live up to their hype by not taking fights against guys like Mark Kerr or Don Frye.

Yeah, I’d turn down 60 thousand dollars to fight Mark Kerr coming off a knee injury.

Nick Nolte must have learned that triangle choke when he was down and out in Beverly Hills ;)

holy sh!t!
‘Sugarfree’ has NO business being inside that cage with a pro fighter. That was almost hard to watch. Almost.
I guess a big flaw in womans MMA is that it is not popular enough, in turn the woman are basically unknown.
The combination of those facts make for some really uneven match ups as far as the individual skill level of WMMA goes.

Kevin Casey...
Was it me or was his celebration a little obnoxious? You would have thought this guy just won the ww or mw title (forgot what weight he fought at)…He was kind of prick sweeping of the shoulders and all that.

No, it wasn't just you.
But what do you expect from a guy that hangs with Spencer Pratt?

Yeeah I was amazed by that. He just kept running his mouth, all the different celebrations, all to excessive. I forgot what an ass Pratt was. I am so sick of the superbowl celebrations for an everyday win. I understand combat sports is different when you win. I have wrestled and done karate tournaments and I get it, all the adrenaline, the mental aspect of competely handling someone, and physically punishing them, but I just think for an everyday win some of these guys just get way to crazy. What the hell is this guy going to do if he wins a belt? It is going to be like the old school In Living Color skits, where they black guys in the movies start doing cartwheels and one guy explodes cuz he is laughing so hard. If we are lucky Kevin Casey explodes!
