I’m betting this is going to be a boring bout. He calls Machida boring but watching Tito lay on Forrest sounds worse.

Without tito pressing the action against Lyoto, there wouldn’t have even been a fight.

Love tito or hate ’em………he shows up.

You kept making all the stops?

Well people kept ringing the bell !!!!!!

Agreed!

Machida ran from Tito all night. It was the first and only time I’ve ever rooted for Ortiz, because he was the only real man in the cage that night. Machida should’ve gotten a yellow card to match the stripe down his back that night. I’m glad Dana put him on notice after that fight and forced him to become a real fighter.

Lyoto ran all night?

Yeah… that explains why at the end of each round when Tito was sitting on his stool his face was more and more F’d up.

Yes, Machida is obligated to abandon his skill-set and stand and trade slow motiion punches with Pumkinhead. Screw using skill and footwork and speed, give your opponent a chance to win to appease the bloodthirsty moron drunks in the crowd.

When Tito collapsed from that flying knee and got flung off by Machida like a child every time he went in for a hug, I thought to myself “Now there’s a real man. He’s getting totally schooled, but he’s the real winner tonight”. Then I tightened up my mandana, took a long swig of Colt.45, and started picking fights with the people sitting quietly beside me.

Spot on mate, I’ve gone back to cheering for Forrest. I’d much rather watch a fighter in his prime with outstanding footwork and devastating KO power like Machida over an arrogant wrestler like Tito. I was cheering for Tito before this week but because he refused to fight in England and based my man Machida I hope that Forrest can smash him. Honestly them 2 do something to annoy me all of the time so I end up changing my mind on who I want to win.

JJ, love that Machida fake low kick…now that’s skill! Perfectly executed with Tito covering up from a low leg kick…what a pansy.

watch that fight again

Machida landed and flipped Tito around like a girl the whole fight

Actually, Tito could give Machida some lessons on running away.

I have yet to see Lyoto literally turn his back on his opponent and sprint across the cage like a fat kid protecting his lunch money, a la Wand/Tito.

ugh...

take off your sunglasses. It isn’t sunny inside. There is no clearer proclaimation to the world that I am simply trying to look cool than wearing sunglasses inside. That is all.

Tito should always wear shades into the cage.

That way we wouldn’t have seen the stark terror in his eyes both times he faced Chuck.
