These fighters are just dumb!
Why would you fight in the WEC? please dont feed me that: “to fight the best in the world crap”!
If they are fighting the best in the world then they should be getting financially compensated for it. Why would Aldo fight here, when he could have torn up the DREAM GP and made six figures easily? Hell, even Bellator pays better the than the WEC,
Rob McCullough $20000
he gets 20000 and the 145 lbs champ at the time only geot 15000, yeah sure he used to be a champ, but its still not right, been what almost 2 years since he was champ, kinda sad when some of these guys get 2000 and a basically has been guy( dont see him holding a title anytime soon), at the least a gatekeeper for now, gets the highest base pay ( no win bonus or anything). i wonder exaclty what some of these guys get for sponsorship, and what the pay for training, i know some of these guys must be on the fine line of breaking even
Brown only got $15000?
No wonder he still has to answer phones at ATT on Saturdays.
Seriously
MTB is/was WEC’s most popular weight champ. I can not believe the pay is THAT small for a championship quality fight..
MERGER PLEASE!
