UFC Quick Quote: Brandon Vera 'pissed' over judges decision; agrees to 'man up' and accept loss to Randy Couture

Vera-pissed_medium

"I’m pissed, I’m really pissed, but the sport of MMA, she's a bitch and if you let it go to the judges, you let it out of your hands, you know? So, I’m going to take the blame for this loss. I’m going to man up. I should have finished it. I had a couple of opportunities to during the fight that I should have finished it. I’m super happy I got to fight Randy Couture, my hero, my legend, and let the rest of the light heavyweight division know that I’m going to whip your ass if you get into the Octagon with me."

-- UFC light heavyweight Brandon Vera vents during the UFC 105 post fight press conference about the unanimous decision loss he suffered to Randy Couture during the evening's main event. "The Truth" thought the result was a lie, confident he had done more (and more damage) during his battle with "The Natural" in Manchester on Nov. 14. How about it? Was Vera betrayed by the scorecards? Or did Couture do enough during the fight to make it a clear-cut decision? Opinions please.

its true...not as bad as the last main event tho

He definetly got screwed……first round coulda went ether way but the 2nd and third were vera’s rounds…..and all randy did in round one atall was clinch ….randy had a good round 3 but i still think he lost the round….I was most impressed with hardy and matt brown tonight tho….i dont know why everyone was picking wilks, he is over rated and if there was 10-15 more seconds in round 2 wilks woulda got put to sleep in that triangle

i loved the matt brown fight, wilks fought his ass off…. and hardy was AWESOME… dude, is just a fighter… i love that.

Another robbery at the Hands of the Judges

Brandon Vera won that fight! why? Cause he is the only one that did any damage. You cant even argue that Randy won OCTAGON CONTROL cause he didnt! Yes Randy had Vera pressed against the cage for the majority of the fight, but since when does that get you a win in the UFC? Octagon control should be awarded to Vera! Why? He controlled where the fight went! Randy desperately tried to get it to the ground, and Vera defended it beautifully, and HE CONTROLLED where the fight would take place, and it stayed standing which is his world. Its bad enough that in he UFC, these days, whoever gets the takedown and spends most of the time on top, is awarded a decision, but now what?? We award wins on who can press his opponent against the cage the longest? What a JOke! This is a FIGHT not a wrestling match! Fights should always be awarded to the fighter that inflicts the most damage. PERIOD! If its a real war and Damage is equal, the tie shoud be broken with aggression, and octagon control!
Had that fight taken place in PRIDE which is a REAL mma scoring system, Vera would have won a unanimous decision because he was the only fighter that was trying to end the fight!

Apologies to Vera! He came into the fight in top shape, and as prepared as one could be, and unlike Randy, he actually tried to fight! what Randy did last night was pathetic and desperate, and a slap in the face to all the British fans, that finally got to see a real superstar fight live in the UK! What Randy did last night was pathetic. If thats the only way Randy can win a fight these days, then he needs to just retire! If Randy gets a title shot over Shogun after last nights pathetic performance, I WILL SERIOUSLY NEVER watch the UFC again!

This is how the fight should have been scored:
round 1 = DRAW! but if you had to give it to someone, Randy gets the nod!
Round 2 = Vera CLEARLY!
Round 3= vera stole the round! no doubt in my mind!

Last night added to the recent decline of the UFC! UFC is leaving a real bad taste in my mouth recently

Props to Britiish fighters who are proving that they belong in th UFC.

I am born/raised in the USA but I am a big fan of UK fighters, and last night proved why. Thanks to the brits for making me a nice amount of money betting on them last night!

I have been telling EVERYONE on this site, not to SLEEP on Bisping and that he is a top middleweight. Well Last night, he clearly proved it! Very impressed with his performance and I am happy that he is finally showing how good, I knew he was capable of being! He came into the fight with a serious chip on his shoulder and a lot of pressure to overcome the Hendo debacle! The fight starts and he gets put in serious trouble immediately…like a true Warrior, he fights back and finishes a very tough opponent in Kang! I was very impressed, but not surprised, after al, I didnt bet Bisping cause I thought he would lose.

I have been telling you fockers about Dan Hardy for a while now! He has great size for a welterweight, and he is a fighter by nature, with a very strong mental game for a fighter! There was no doubt in my mind that he was going to beat an extremely over rated Swick, but I never thought he would have dominated him like that! Hardy is no joke, and I hope that after last night, he has finally earned EVERYONE’s respect! I won a lot of money thanks to Hardy last night! I am actually really looking forward to Hardy vs. GSP!

James Wilks lost his fight to a very tough guy who is always improving in Matt Brown! Wilks was battered but he fought through it like a warrior and still displayed some nice skills! Very tough fight for a UFC a debut, and I thought even in a loss, Wilks proved that he belongs! I bet Wilks so I lost a little change on this fight!

Ross the BOSS has a very bright future! He is mentally strong and has some really sharp striking! I bet money on him to win last night, but I had NO IDEA that he was capable of dominating a very GAME UFC veteran in Riley! I was really impressed, and in a UFC LW division dominated by a bunch of wrestlers, a striker like Ross is a breath of Fresh air!

Andre Winner Knocked Jesus Christ’s head off last night! lol That was my biggest bet of the night! There was no doubt in my mind that Andre was going to win that fight against a guy who doesnt really belong in the UFC.

I would like to see Andre or Ross fight Phillipe Nover in what would be a very entertaining scrap!

Hathaway continues to climb the ranks, but I havent seen that fight yet!

Ozpicek, who I am a big fan of beat a very tough Riddle, but I havent seen that fight yet!

overall, I had a very profitable evening last night. THese were my bets:
Vera, I got robbed out of that moneyt!
bisping
Hardy
Wilks
Ross
Winner
Ozpicek
Hathaway
Kelly

Those Brits won me a lot of money last night! Only brits that didnt come through for me were Wilks and Kelly (who I lost a lot of money on because I thoughht he would keep Siver on his back for 15 minutes. Very profitable evening for me last night! I hope you other gamblers had success as well!

NOTHING!!!

Come on John, Vera really didn’t do much at all. Okay he threw that wicked kick to the ribs and then to the chest in the second, but what else did he really do? He may had “defended” ol man Randy’s takedown attempt, but he was no way the aggressor for most of that fight.

As for Randy, he’s not impressive at all, neither is Vera anymore.

by UFC Champ on Nov 15, 2009 10:37 AM EST up reply actions

WHAT!!!?

you say vera didnt do anything but he inflicted about 100 times more damage then randy did, he mounted randy , droped him with body shots….all randy did was hold him up against the fence and do nothing

john

You know a lot about those fights for someone who vowed he wouldn’t watch.

by jay. on Nov 15, 2009 12:04 PM EST up reply actions

John, Hathaway took down Taylor at the start of each round and stayed on top throughout, there was little action in the first round but John smashed Paul with elbows in the latter 2 rounds. Easy win for Hathaway and exactly as I expected it to go because Taylor has no ground game.

Nick-Riddle was a good fight, Matt took Nick down a few times but Nick did a great job using his BJJ skills to reverse Riddle and get on top position, by the third round Matt gassed and Nick was able to reverse him from his back, sweeping him into mount before stopping him with little time left in the fight after pounding on him. Great win for Nick, but he needs to work on his wrestling as he’s still taken down too easily in a wrestlercentric division.

Cheers mate

I had a great time, I was pretty high up but still had a great view of the cage. I’m definitely getting tickets for the next event, going to make a proper weekend of it by staying at a local hotel, so I have time to go to the afterparties and other events as I was pretty rushed this weekend so I missed out on a few things.

by David W-S on Nov 15, 2009 8:01 PM EST up reply actions

Seriously?

When is not being able to finish you opponent or impose you will not enough to win a fight? I think that’s what I read there.

Just because you didn’t like it doesn’t mean it isn’t a win. That’s just arrogant. Yes, I know, you’re John, you’ve always been arrogant. I’m not saying I am surprised, I’m just saying it’s arrogant to decide your unpaid and unsolicited opinion has more value than the paid judges of the fight.

Brandon may have hurt Randy, but the second Randy was hurt, he took over the fight and imposed his will. If Vera was winning HE would have been imposing HIS will, not having the fight taken away from him by a craftier fighter. Vera lost, if he wanted to win he would have done more, the fact that he didn’t do more means he didn’t do enough to win.

And another thing, the judges decide the fights, the UFC doesn’t have any say in what the judges do. To say the UFC is the cause of these bad decisions is plain retarded. If fighters don’t want judges to decide the fights they should finish them or at least leave it all in the cage.

Brandon Vera has been a total disappointment ever since he let his agent go to his head and held out on his contract.

It wasn’t a great fight and Brandon Vera has been so-so for awhile. I used to be a fan.

Brandon had impressive TD defense certainly, but how did he do ‘100x more’ when he spent 90% of the time with his back to the fence, he hate ate a lot of strikes from Randy in the clinch, not all of them were great, but they still happened.

It was a bad fight, and Randy’s lack of action was frustrating and boring, but Randy won the fight. You don’t win a fight based on a single damaging body kick, learn some mma rules.

I love how people think it’s the UFC behind these ‘bad decisions’ ,doing this, grow up, every time there’s a close decision do we have to listen to half of you spout off?

"OMG, UFC, BRIBE, SHOGUN, ROBBERY OMG NEVER AGAIN CRY*

They should just get Vera to fight cans again so he can get highlight reel KO’s on the undercards, everyone would enjoy that. He’s never done well against tier 1 competition.

Shogun lost a close decision! Everyone get crazy!

i know it’s hard for people, including myself, to speak negatively about Randy Couture……but he shouldn’t be anywhere near a title shot. He did nothing in this fight, and with each additional fight his chin is becoming more and more suspect. I would have given this fight to Vera, as I think he clearly won the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I love Randy, but i really wish he’s retire because he’s doing a disservice to both himself, and the weightclass that he is muddling up because the UFC can’t and won’t say no to him.

I’d like:
Randy v Tito
Randy v Jardine
Randy v Rashad
Randy v Andy?(could he get inside and get control?, if not, total massacre)
Randy v Forrest(total war, forrest doesn’t have enough power to hurt him)
Randy v Machida(not yet, he doesn’t deserve a shot yet…but will prob get it anyway)
Randy v Kimbo(assuming kimbo beats Houston, which is not a lock)

by Crowls on Nov 15, 2009 4:47 PM EST up reply actions

not a robbery

blame vera my man, he had randy hurt with body kicks a couple times and didn’t go in for the kill. Randy controlled the fight. I agree vera did more damage, but a couple kicks cannot makeup for getting bullied the rest of the round if you don’t follow it up. Even by the pride rules I don’t think randy wins that fight. Disappointing to watch because randy wasn’t being effective in the clinch except for muscling vera around and vera wouldn’t let his strikes go. IMO Vera should’ve opened up more and if he got taken down so what. He’s got good jitz and should’ve been able to get back to his feet. At least take the chance, don’t lose a clinch war and then complain about the decision.

by Crowls on Nov 15, 2009 4:44 PM EST up reply actions

gimme a break, John!

I won’t argue with you on the damage issue, but to say that Vera had octogon control because he defended the takedown is absurd. Vera spent 95% of the fight just trying to stay on his feet and keep from getting pounded. He did that very well and I give him huge props for it, but Vera wanted to be in the center of the ring and never got it there without referee assistance.. Randy kept the fight in his world on his terms the whole time. It may have been boring, but that is the very definition of octogon control!

by (shonuff) on Nov 16, 2009 1:31 AM EST up reply actions

Vera lost. Randy won rounds 1 & 3 due to being the aggressor and octagon control. Sucks, but in the current environment of 10 point must/round it is true.

Dan Hardy was impressive with heavy hands and a very solid chin.

I guess I must have missed Randy losing consciousness and submitted there what with all the getting dominated against the cage. My fault.

You are obviously right.

Oh wait…. I rewatched the fight, looks like Randy got hurt and then kept Brandon from capitalizing. Guess successfully defending a surging opponent doesn’t count for anything anymore. Someone better tell Nog, it appears he hasn’t won half the decisions in his career, the other guy was robbed.

Couture won.

It was a close fight and could have gone either way, but I think he did enough to win. Vera definitely did more damage striking, but that accounted for about two minutes out of fifteen. Randy stuck to the game plan, controlled not only his opponent, but the pace of the fight. Was it boring? Yes, but Couture did what he had to do.

by dave_cooke1 on Nov 15, 2009 8:08 AM EST reply actions

referee's fault

The referee is to blame here, not Vera or Couture. The referee should have broken them up much more than he did. It was ridiculous for the referee to break them up and then let Randy go right back to pressing Vera against the cage.

by seh on Nov 15, 2009 8:35 AM EST reply actions

And when you look at how quickly some of the other fights were pulled away from the cage, this was ridiculous.

by prokstar on Nov 15, 2009 9:23 AM EST up reply actions

Don’t think so, so long as there was work going on he didnt break them up, but when it got static he did. You’ve gotta let the fight happen, you cant just constantly break it up if its a bit dull otherwise it looses its authenticity.

Couture won?

He got folded over by body shots, cut, and outstruck. No way he won. this is fighting not grab and hold. He inflicted no damage what so ever to Vera, none! He got the decision because he has a bigger name, no other reason. He did nothing to win this fight, heck I thought Vera totally neutralized Couture’s supposed superior wrestling. Randy just held him against the cage to save himself from further damage. What a garbage decision. Complete garbage.

Exploiting the system?

Watched the fight initially on stream n was thinking Vera won – although I was not able to see Randy escape n exchange the last 30 seconds. Watching it again on TV I was able to see more clearly how Randy was working and controlling. I suppose it all comes down to bias. By the rules I feel Randy won. Randy may be able to pull this off when it is a David n Goliath type fight but when they are the same size it becomes exploitive n borish. Randy works well with what he has left within the frame work of the rules but I would rather spend my time doing something else then watching ‘reruns’.

Decision shouldn't be surprising.

I don’t exactly think this is a controversial decision. Everyone I watched with called Couture 29-28 when the fight was over. Not that I necessarily agree that it should have been that way, I just knew that the judges would score it that way because Couture had control for almost the entire round.

by prokstar on Nov 15, 2009 9:34 AM EST reply actions

That settles that

The group of drunk friends of prokstar scored it for Couture…that’s a wrap!

by frosnt1 on Nov 15, 2009 3:15 PM EST up reply actions

Agreement and lack of surprise aren't the same thing.

I didn’t say we scored it for Couture. I said we called the Couture decision (ie we knew the judges would go that way). It was a bad decision, but not a surprising one. I think we would have less of those if judges were encouraged to score more rounds 10-10 and 10-8. There’s a good chance this one would have been 30-29 Vera if the judges scored more tie rounds.

Vera won

Vera totally negated Randys wrestling, landed way more punishing strikes…enough said.

What you got to realize about Strike Force and that was that they used every big name they have for that. Now who do they have for next month if they wanted to put on a show? If the UFC was going to put on a show on prime time network tv they could easily swallow Strike Force whole!

How can you say Vera sucked? There are HW’s that can’t keep Randy from pressing them up against the cage and getting taken down. Vera negated his wrestling completely and won every exchange. Randy is showing that he can no longer comepete. If he gets a title shot for this performance without fighting a top 5er and before Shogun get his rematch, we can safely say that Dana is truly giving the old man a pass…

It is easy to say that Vera got screwed. Randy did next to nothing, he pressed against the cage and at no point was Vera in any danger or threat of being taken down or hurt. Vera negated all of his wrestling and was just as busy with the dirty boxing. Round 2 was clearly Vera with the big knock down and damage done. So if you give Randy 1, Vera 2, How could you give Randy the 3rd. How did he win it? By once again doing nothing but pressing Vera against the cage and having his wrestling comepletly negagted? Once again Vera negated his wrestling, did just as much dirty boxing, got a take down and a full mount. So how does Vera not get screwed? This BS lose really hurt Vera and his rankings. Had he won this fight, his rankings would have taken quite a fewsteps forward and could have made a huge difference in who he fights next..

by Da Monkey on Nov 15, 2009 10:20 AM EST up reply actions

By the sounds of it it will not hurt him. They will give him a top fighter asap.

I don’t think that it will hurt Vera to lose a controversial decision like this against someone like Randy Couture. It will just motivate him to do better in the future. It will make him an even better fighter. The UFC needs to make some adjustments.

by seh on Nov 15, 2009 11:11 AM EST up reply actions

I agree that it could have gone to Vera, but all the whining about how these decisions somehow mark the decline of the UFC is tired. I guess if they booked a bunch of “b level” fighters against top level talent, we would see more blowouts.

Randy...Meh....Vera...Somewhat surprised

If you think about it Vera was at least able to keep it standing versus a GNP fest for Randy. I think this is a step up for Vera in terms of performance. Imagine if Randy just mounted and GNPed to a quick victory? That would have been a career ender for Vera. Vera MENTALLY came out on top and fought a good fight against his “hero”.

Randy…Well, just did what Randy does. Meh. This is supposed to be a show. He wanted ZERO standup and just wanted to eek out a win. The “Captain Paycheck” name sticks. UFC needs a new poster boy.

Only the biggest and most elite fighters have finished Randy. There is no shame in Vera losing to or not being able to finish Randy. Also for all of Jardines losses he has great performances to balance his credibilty. Meybe he will never be a UFC champ, but he is an excellent gate keeper. Lots of fighters are not top10 and stay employed by the UFC. Vera just needs to be more consistent and mentally stronger. He has all the tools to be great, just can’t always pull the trigger…

You're wrong!

He DID finish Reese Andy, in the 3rd round-get it right dude! And it’s hard to finish a guy who won’t engage you, try knocking a guy out who just wants to hold on for dear life, it’s not easy.

I thought Randy looked in shape. Vera rocked him early and i think it really affected him.
Still cant get over how odd looking Swick looks as a welterweight.

by ElStIkO on Nov 15, 2009 11:29 AM EST reply actions

Haha Swick looks ridiculous..As for Randy… hes aged even since the noguera fight..looked way softer… maybe cuz he only did a 6 week camp? Or wasnt as pumped to fight vera as he was a legend like Nog? Oh well hes still my hero.. hope he has a more impressive performance next time.

old man randy

well the fight was not as exciting as one could hope for..no..but i am disappointed that vera can not get his crap together..i don’t even remember how many years ago he seemed like a real deal..had a bit of a winning streak..seems like something is missing from him..he is lack luster..and i dunno why you would want to clinch with randy for what seemed like 13 mins outta 15..he did rock randy a few times yes..but..that was not enough..

by sarah- on Nov 15, 2009 11:55 AM EST reply actions

he didnt want to clintch with him, he tried to get distance but thats kinda hard when the guy your fighting persist to put you up against a cage and dry hump u

by GOLDIGGAH on Nov 15, 2009 11:58 AM EST up reply actions

Vera didn't want to clinch

but Couture never gave him the option of escape. He had two choices, fight the clinch game or be put on his back and get the crap beat out of him. Considering that Randy has taken down almost everyone he’s ever fought, including slamming the shit out of Godzilla Gonzaga and even taking down 290 lb Bohemoth Brock, I’d say Brandon did an amazing job. Who the heck lasts more than 2 minutes in the clinch with Randy without going down? It may not have looked flashy or entertaining, but I think that surviving this fight without ever being put on his back was hands down the biggest accomplishment of Vera’s career, against the best opponent he’s ever fought. Yeah, it was boring and yeah he wasn’t able to keep Randy at distance, but who can? Vera wasn’t able to execute his gameplan but he prevented Randy from executing his and that’s more than I ever expected him capable of. I give major kudos to Vera. This is the first thing he’s EVER done that impressed me in the slightest.

It's in the fan's hands!

A couple more of these B.S. decisions and I will quit watching. This is some of the same crap that brought down boxing and made it lose credibility as a viable sport. Maybe some of you should consider doing the same. Bad refs and bad judges make for a bad sport. Be careful Dana or the ufc will go down the tubes too. Do something now before it’s too late.

haha

I don’t think the UFC is going to crumble because some dude named Calu doesn’t know how to score a fight. There weren’t any blown calls last night.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

And I won’t watch garbage where you’re rewarded for NOT fighting when you’re in a fight.

I see a lot of people talking about how Randy controlled Vera, I only think control is good if you’re doing something with it. Randy rarely hit Vera, I credit that to Vera’s defense. He didn’t leave openings to get hit. What Randy did was the stand up equivalent of lay n’ pray.

by Shadyone33 on Nov 15, 2009 1:50 PM EST reply actions

agree

I totally agree that it was stand and pray. But are you surprised it got him the win? Before the announcer told you who won, did you think Vera was going to get the decision? Neither of them looked impressive last night.

by jay. on Nov 15, 2009 3:34 PM EST up reply actions

not surprised

I wasn’t surprised. Maybe if the judges weren’t told to avoid 10-10 rounds like the plague then this one would have been 30-29 Vera.

by prokstar on Nov 15, 2009 6:46 PM EST up reply actions

As I was there live I didn’t hear any commentary and I thought Vera won, as he got the knockdown in the second and mount in the third. Other than that little flurry of strikes in the third all Randy did was clinch, I wanted him to win but I thought that he lost. It was a close fight but I can see why Brandon was so upset at the verdict.

by David W-S on Nov 15, 2009 7:16 PM EST up reply actions

check the stats, boys

Randy outstruck Vera by a considerable margin in overall strikes, head strikes, hi power strikes. He won every aspect of the striking game except that Vera’s 2 big kicks looked more impressive than all of Randy’s strikes combined. But Randy rattled Vera twice and outstruck him 3 to 1 in the 3rd round. In a ten-point-must system where judges almost never score tie rounds, there’s just no way to give this fight to Vera, unless you think that 1 takedown in round 3(from which no strikes were landed, no submissions were attempted, and which was quickly escaped) is worth a 20+ strikes differential that Randy had over Vera in that round. If it was the other way around in Round 3 and Randy had the one TD but Vera had neutralized it and outstruck him 32-12, (which is what Randy did)you’d all be screaming that the takedown meant nothing etc etc.

Put these guys on the UFC108 card

Seperate fights of course. CHUCK vs RANDY, VERA vs TBA they need some fights they are desperate.

by ElStIkO on Nov 15, 2009 5:28 PM EST reply actions

like Randy said

I don’t think anybody is looking for a FOURTH match between him and Chuck. Besides, Randy has been highly competitive in all his recent fights, only losing to the 2 best Heavyweights in UFC history. But in the last 2 years Chuck has spent more time unconscious in the cage than Steve Mazagatti.

by (shonuff) on Nov 16, 2009 1:17 AM EST up reply actions

Chuck is predictable. Throws a punch leaves his head wide open. Time for a new game plan like maybe keep your freakin hands up. I guess they should just save up for a wicked spring or summer card. Its only the end of the year and we have been spoiled with numerous ppvs anyway.

Glad this fight was free

but even then i felt like i was robbed! vera, you suck dude.

by PEELthisBANANA on Nov 15, 2009 10:07 PM EST reply actions

Vera won

Vera almost put Randy down and landed as many strikes and knees as Randy did standing against the cage. Vegas wins this one by 3rd round takedown!
The ufc judging has been suspect in the past and this is true lately as well.

by Dball on Nov 15, 2009 11:38 PM EST via mobile reply actions

WRONG

Vera landed two big damaging kicks, but Randy won every other aspect of the striking game in terms of numbers, by a considerable margin. Check the stats. In round 3, he outstruck Vera by a ratio of 3 to 1.

by (shonuff) on Nov 16, 2009 1:21 AM EST up reply actions

3 reasons UFC SUCKS

1. DANA WHITE is the new DON KING.
2. slamming opponents over and over IS NOT FIGHTING.
3. how is pressing an opponent against the cage throughout most of the fight WINNING?

-these refs either stop the fights TOO SOON, or they allow the fighters to fuck each other all night w/o standing them up. this ain’t no way to become a replacement for boxing. i watch both combat sports and fights like these make me miss the glory days of boxing and ufc.

Close fight!!!

Ive seen worse decisions than this in the UFC. This was a close fight that could have gone either way. This is exactly Vera’s problem, he cant finish a fight. He is always letting the judges decide and when he loses aclose decision he can sit there in disgust. I dont care, I hate Brandon Vera as a fighter, he to me is the most over rated fighter in all of MMA I dont think he will ever threaten a belt in this sport. Like I have said before, Brandon must have pics of Dana doing something he shouldnt be doing cause there is no other reason he should still be in the UFC………..VERA=CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by HEELHOOK on Nov 16, 2009 12:20 PM EST reply actions

Vera's no can

I’ve never thought of him as a contender and still don’t (too inconsistent) but he just gave one of the best figthers in the sport a run for his money. He fought Randy Couture for 3 rounds without getting taken down once! How many guys can say that??? He definitely got a lot more hype than he deserved off that win over Wank Mir, but he’s no can. Nobody’s walking through him.

by (shonuff) on Nov 16, 2009 1:17 PM EST up reply actions

it was the British fans that got screwed

I think Vera should have won but you cant complain really when you dont fight to win.

Randy should know better, what a shitty way to see the leg end in the flesh. Paying for flights, hotel and to see your hero hug the shit out of Vera who looked quite happy sometimes to be in the clinch doing nothing. All in all it was the British fans that got screwed with another poor event / main event.
