whats next?
i know couture signed a 5 fight contract for ufc ,but if he loses whats next?I mean theirs no really easy fights left for him at 205 unless they bring in someone for him.dana pushed hard for chuck to retire when he got in a rut so i was wondering will the same thing happen to him if he continues to lose contract or not?

I don’t think Couture is gonna come close to fulfilling 5. My guess is he fights about 3 more times if he wins, 1-2 if he loses.

Meet me on Sunday
Well hopefully anyway, as I’m going to try and buy his book on the door of his book signing tomorrow.
Fight wise if he loses he’ll probabaly face Tito if he gets beat by Forrest or possibly Chuck, it’ll be difficult to find him a meaningful fight and unfortunately he could end up doing a Hughes and being booked to face other older fighters. It all depends on how he loses, if it’s a razor thin split decision then he’ll get another meaningful fight but if he’s smashed then his career will be in jeopardy.

i tink if randy wins and tito wins then i think the two will fight, because randy will have to wait at least 6 to 8 months before getting a title shot, due to the automatic rematch with shogun and machida! i for one wold to love to see a rematch between randy and tito, i think its a win win for the ufc because a loss for tito could set up another rematch with rashad should rashad loose to silva! all specaulation i know! perhaps if randy wins he could face the winner of rashad/silva to set up a number 1 contender for lhw stap!

Hmm
To the loser who said that in stare-downs that you stare at the opponent’s chest and not into their eyes? Still think so?!

Not what I said
I said that Shogun may have been staring at Machida’s chest, and that in striking disciplines you are taught to stare at your opponents chest. Turns out he was staring at the belt.
In no way did I elude to everyone staing at their opponents chest and not into their eyes.

I don't know about everyone else,
but i like Dana’s video blogs. They might not have much fighter content to them but its nice to see aspects from a different angle than a typical fan in the crowd. The close up weigh-ins, the post weigh-in meeting, even when he talks to fighters a couple days prior to the fights in the hotel; and at less than 10 min long i would have a hard time finding a reason not to watch them.
I am here to educate you about the single biggest threat to our planet and the existence of the human race. It is a creature which roams the Earth alone. It is half man, half bear, and half pig... I'm cereal!
Proud supporter of Al Gore's search for the Man-bear-pig. EXCELSIOR!
