SOON COMMING TO THIS SITE!!!!!!!>>>>> TOTALLY OFF THE SUBJECT…Fedors camp announced that they would accept ufc offer to fight brock for free!!!!! Thats right you heard it hear first, His camp announced that brock can jump on a plane, train or anything come up to their camp and they can get it on for 5…3 min rounds,.OF course we know that this wont happen though their is to much pride for the ufc the way i look at it is dana says all this bad stuff about fedor getting his head smashed by brock and fedors camp is sick of dana running his mouth. Iknow this prob wont happen but i praise fedors camp to fire back with a descent proposel. Fedor is humble and has nothing but respect for everyone seems like a great guy. Just wanted to throw this out there to keep the fans informed.

I would not trust anything that comes out of the mouth of Jerry Millen.

by Fred on Nov 12, 2009 9:16 AM EST up reply actions

First off, you’re a little late on the so called “breaking news” secondly, this is just a jab back from Fedor’s management to try and make them self look half way decent after cowarding out. If they truely wanted to a fight between Brock and Fedor, they would of manned up and signed the F’n contract that Dana put forth. I do agree that Fedor his a very humble and respectful guy, but I am definitely getting the feeling that he IS dodging the UFC. If anybody wants to make the argument that Fedor has more/tougher competition outside the UFC they’re just nuts. Imagine the fights we could of seen if only Fedor’s illustrious management would of came off the insane demands.

by JRoland on Nov 12, 2009 9:22 AM EST up reply actions

You know as well as i do that if dana wallet is not gonna get fat of this it will not happen he is not 4 the fans we both know this jroland and i am not gonna fall for this competition thing fedor never turned down a fight and we all know that things happen behind the scenes that we do not hear about, look at henderson for example just knocked out bisping and now hes out of the ufc for now, first dana wanted fedor to fight randy c. now that he lost his title to brock hes on brocks jock i personally believe that fedor would beat brock, but randy im not to sure of.

by Ortizzz...is back baby!!!!!! on Nov 12, 2009 9:44 AM EST up reply actions

Look Ortiz, I’m not one to say that Fedor would lose or win against Brock… Waaayyyy too hard for either one of us to tell and you know it! If Fedor was the same size as Brock, then hell yes Fedor takes it easily! But Fedor being only 230lbs and Brock being damn near 280lbs that’s a huge weight discrepency and you see how good Rogers did! I just don’t think that it is even half way right, for everyone to bash on Brock like it’s his fault that Dana always gives him praise and hates on Fedor. In all honesty everyone knows Fedor should be in the UFC and making a hell of a lot of money fighting the best competition. As far as Randy goes, I don’t even think Randy has even a small chance of beating Fedor. We all seen how Randy got rocked a few times against Big Nog, and we know for a fact that Fedor hits 10X harder then that.

by JRoland on Nov 12, 2009 10:38 AM EST up reply actions

Jroland i agree in a way of what your saying but what did rogers weigh in at? I think that he weighed in pretty heavy and fedor handled him pretty good. Now i know brocks skill level may be a little higher than rogers but fedor handled him pretty good,im like you i would love to see this thing happen like alot of others but fedor dont worry about money hes already got it, wich i like about fedor is it proves hes not in it for the money he just loves the competition of fighting,i mean his camp put the offer out their but we all know that dana will not bite on it because he wont make the money HE wants off of it, its all about dana we all can see that if it aint big bucks than he wont talk to fedors camp and thats a shame to all of us mma fans cause all these fighters are getting older and we may never be able to tell who was the best.

Fedor doesn’t want anything to do with Dana. Yesterday Fedor said this…“the UFC doesn’t offer a fair deal, and all I hear is insults”. You’re right that Fedor is “dodging the UFC”…but the UFC is Dana White….not Brock Lesnar.

Fedor wants to fight Brock, but does not want to sign his life over to Dana to do it….simple as that.

Say whatever you want about M-1 being “nuts”…all of these rumoured contract offers are speculation and can’t be proven.

This offer to fight Brock for free is flies right in the face of all of the “ridiculous demands by M-1” accusations, considering they have everything to lose if Brock were to beat Fedor.

This “free fight” offer is perfect for all parties. If Brock wins….Dana can talk smack for twenty years about Fedor, actually have good reason to do so, and doesn’t have to answer questions about a non-UFC fighter at every press conference. If Fedor wins…M-1 still has their crowning jewel, Brock keeps his belt, and Dana still has his champ.

Personally, I’d like to hear Brock’s response to this offer.

It’s a terrible idea, it’ll cost all sides millions and will make a mockery of the sport if the biggest fight to date is held in a scruffy Russian gym with nobody watching or official sanctioning. It sends out completely the wrong message and if any boxing promoters heard this then MMA would be a laughing stock.

Besides it’s an empty threat, as Fedor won’t have a big fight like that for free, the closest he’ll come to fighting for nothing is his exhibition fights against his mates Aoki and Gegard, as there’s no chance that there’d ever be a competetive fight between them, unless Mousasi leaves M-1.

How exactly is lifting up a tiny little car like that impressive. It is most likely rear engine. I picked up a car like that when I was 17 and maybe a buck fifty soaking wet.

by Fred on Nov 12, 2009 9:07 AM EST reply actions

You obviously have no sense of humour. Who cares if its impressive.

by UK_Chris on Nov 12, 2009 1:32 PM EST up reply actions

Reminds me of High School. My Math teacher had an Austin Mini, and one evening after school when he was inside…my friends and I snuck into the parking lot, picked the car up, carried it up the front entry stairs, and set the car down at the fron entrance of the school. Then we went across the street and hid in the trees and watched him come out of the school about an hour later. Funniest sh!t ever.

dude, i think that happened on Full House ..nice try

by robbyc on Nov 12, 2009 10:30 AM EST up reply actions

Yes, I’m vicariously living through episodes of Full House.

Every day when I wake up I start my day off by looking at my poster of Jesse, Joey, and DJ on my wall….then watch my favourite episodes over and over again, whilst daydreaming about how awesome it would be to be on the show. Then, I take my favourite parts of the show and try to pass them off as my own.

You caught me. :(

i’ve heard of folk doing this, is not classed as stealing tho if the car is taken 20 metres away from the place it was parked?

What’s interesting is the book “Mr. Uppity” has a reputation as a racist book since “smart, eloquent” black people have been described as “uppity.” Of course, what’s funny about this situation is Dana is completely oblivious to this fact (especially since the guy he gave it to was white). It’s an unintentionally funny moment, and lends credence to the point that Dana’s homophobic remarks really were unwitting rather than offensive. I think he’s just clueless about certain things. Funny stuff.

by Collin on Nov 12, 2009 10:26 AM EST reply actions

lmao…I thought the Mr. Uppity stories were under some sort of scrutiny for something…just couldn’t remember what it was. I didn’t want to bring it up, because I’d be called a “Dana Hater” if I did.

Good stuff.

by OJR is King (formerly introvert) on Nov 12, 2009 10:47 AM EST up reply actions

Yeah, I was hesitant, too.

That scene reminds me of the guy who isn’t fluent in a foreign language and says what he thinks is a greeting, but mispronounces it so that it becomes an offensive put-down. Then everyone looks at him shocked while he’s smiling, going “what? What did I say?”

Of course, there weren’t any black people present. Would have been funny if he gave it to someone like Carlos Newton (I think he’s getting his PhD, right?).

by Collin on Nov 12, 2009 10:58 AM EST up reply actions

lol…Newton by KO.

by OJR is King (formerly introvert) on Nov 12, 2009 11:03 AM EST up reply actions

Dear me, how can anyone find those daft Mr Men books offensive? Is Mr Happy supposed to be a racial sterotype against orientals because he’s yellow? None of the characters are lifelike, they just represent personality traits e.g. Mr Uppity is stuck-up, they’re harmless children’s books.

I know there are some racist children’s books, one was in the news a while ago as it was about a white boy civilising African natives (even worse the natives were drawn as apes) but calling Mr Uppity racist is splitting hairs.

1) the news on FEDOR camp talking Brock fight is not new. & saying “heard it here first” is the worst saying on these sites, cause in my long time on these sites i’ve never “heard it here first”. Any1 that says that is always already beat by someone else hours, days, or in this case weeks before.

2) Brock would never fight FEDOR in any other league than UFC. Don’t blame Dana one bit. But I’m also not stupid enough to blame FEDOR for the exact samething in not wanting to fight Brock in UFC. 2 way street.

3) FEDOR is #1 heavyweight of all mma. Hands down.

4) anyone who can’t see that money has nothing to do with FEDOR not fighting for UFC is blind. The answer is he does have to much pride then to be bossed around by some1 who has continously put him down and showed disrespect. For none of you to be able to comprehend what it means to have self respect & pride over a thicker wallet is sad. Money helps by all means. But a lil dignity goes a long way.

5) I would be embarrassed to have a boss like Dana. Obviously its becoming more n more clear that these men are too. Coker will not be seen spouting off about everything wrong with the world because he’s concentrating on what he’s got the most of his time and money invested in. HIS ORGANIZATION.

Which means he doesn’t need to voice his displeasures with the way UFC is being run. Not with obscenities. Not respectfully. Not @ all. He has his own concerns.

That my friends is called a business man.

I do salivate at the idea of a UFC vs Strikeforce card. I know it will never happen, but there are some great possibilities:
Main Event-Fedor vs Brock
Mousassi vs Machida or Anderson
Shields vs GSP
Rogers vs Carwin
Overeem vs Nog
Diaz vs Marquardt?
