Seriuosly can anyone think of someone with a worse chin? Goulet maybe?

Never seen someone get almost KOed from hammer fists…especially when he was in top control. Santiago is a damn solid fighter and one of the better MWs not in the UFC but after seeing that…I can’t imagine he’d survive against many MWs from the UFC with a chin made of popsicle sticks and grade school glue.

This fight sums up why non-title fights are such a bad idea, it just looks crooked that Santiago is still the Sengoku champion when he’s not their best MW. Always thought he was overrated, this fight proved it.
Goulet definitely has the worst chin in MMA, it’s an automatic KO as soon as he gets punched. Santiago and AA both have glass chins as well.

i don’t know how anyone didn’t see this result after watching the two fight. khalidov has been a guy ive been following for a while and he’s extremely impressive.
best fighters with worse chins
1. Andrei Arlovski hands down
2. Chuck Liddell maybe? but i think chin factor is due to age
3. Santiago the guys got a sick all around game but is so easy to ko
add more names to the list!

Jardine. If you watch his ealry losses he always looks the same as his recent. Same glazed look.
James Colossus Thompson is in the running. He gets rubber legs quick enough but he can stand on them and eat fists and not fall down. But as soon as he gets dinged its over. He never recovers.

Chuck never got floored or knocked out when he was young….and that includes taking bombs from Overeem and Vitor…infact he was known as having one of the better chins, which is why I think Vera knocks Randy out due to his developing a weak chin from age

That announcer is so annoying, I usually turn the volume down when watching HDfights.

The announcing is the greatest thing I have ever heard.

Sir take that back! The voice is the best play by play guy in MMA and Kickboxing. By far one of the most educated and way better than the trash that Goldy slings. His MMA knowledge is way better than rogan and most others except for Mauro.

How can anyone bash the Voice? Best commentator in MMA, him and Mezger are a great team.

which is why i prefer watching dream events to ufc. if you transferred all the ufc fighters to dream and had the voice and mezger commentate mma would be heaven! i just hate how knees on the ground are forbidden in the ufc.

I like the Dream rules for a fight but the only hope that MMA has of becoming a mainstream sport is if promotions adopt the unified rules, there’s always going to be criticism of combat sports and knees to a downed opponent’s head is extra ammunition for those that say that the sport is too violent, so I’m torn between what I find exciting and what is acceptable to the mainstream.
The Voice and Mezger would be a great team for UFC shows though, hopefully they can get Schiavello as a one-time only commentator for the Australia show.

who cares what the main stream wants? or how they view the sport? personally i like mma being a small sport, makes it easier/cheaper to watch

NNR – I doubt strongly Schiavello knows MMA better than Rogan. Rogan tends to take sides more but the Voice can be captain obvious and fall into verbal barf when he doesn’t know the correct term. “schlubbery”.
still…
There is none better for K1. “THE BIG KABOSH”…every tko/ko. Never once does it get old. I also like him as the main international announcer.
The USA would cheapen him. No offence America – It’s not you.
Mezger is invested in HDnet – no chance for him playing in the ufc sandbox.

Also Mezger kinda annoys me with his constant – “I just don’t understand,” and “they do things different in japan.” Well no sh!t motherfer.
Zino – my hate on rogan is mainly with his understanding of the saying “World Class.” Then also his interpretation of the unified rules. He only watches one fighter at a time. You kinda rely on your pbp guy to tell the whole story so goldy is droppin the ball too. His understanding of the striking component seems to be limited to the obvious. Schiavello though can tell you the technical aspects. While on the mat, I give it to Rogan. Personally i would prefect someone with a balanced understanding but it’s hard to find those kinds of guys. That’s why here’s hoping for a Florian-Schiavello dream team some day.
