"I want to thank Dan Hardy for this trophy. It means a lot. Coming runner-up in a press conference is pretty cool, but I want everybody to know that I'm going to give this right back to him after our fight."

My perfect scenario for this fight….
They both throw huge bombs and catch each other at the exact same time, both fall on their faces, and do so much damage that neither of them can ever fight again.

I like both Hardy and Swick, they’re entertaining fighters with a sense of humour and make the sport more interesting. I hope Dan wins just for the slight chance that GSP will defend the WW title in the UK.

Come on man, why all the hate on Swick??? Just because he’s not going around fighting Fitch, Alves, GSP, Rumble…. doesn’t mean the dude’s not worth a damn! Give the guy a break and a little bit of credit. It’s not easy to win a fight in the UFC, period!

JRoland, I think the fact that he hasn’t faced a top contender yet in what will be 10 fights is what bothers most people. He could get a title shot after this fight, and for what? He hasn’t faced anyone worth mentioning. I really like Hardy and hope he puts Swick to sleep.

OJR, have you considering therapy for your constantly harsh, negative, inaccurate comments? You most likely spent as much time on this site as it’s staff and I’m sure why since you seem to despise most fighters and most other’s opinions.
Swick has put on great performances and even though he is not of GSP’s caliber he isn’t anyone’s can.
Hardy is cocky but has so far backed it up for better or worse.
As for you, get some meds for any one of your apparent personality disorders and crawl under the biggest easel or dogs playing poker painting you have and stay away from the keyboard!

Wow i hope you mean Swick bore’s you in his interview’s because his fights usually arent boring. Yes i do not get all the hate for Swick, he isnt cocky. Usually finish’es fights, i know he didnt against burkman and davis, but give the guy credit the burkman fight was his first after dropping to 170 so im sure the weight cut came into play. He is explosive and we know can end a fight at any moment. I enjoy watching him fight and he seems to have a good sense of humor

My hate for swick comes from talking shit to ben saunders for trying to tie him up and grapple and if i remember correctly it wasnt too long ago he layed on marcus davis for 15 minutes. I dislike the hypocritical shit talkers. I think he wins this fight by decision. Marcus davis was able to take hardy down and followed with a little ground and pound and im thinking swick will do the same except better.
