No huge favorites on this one. I think Denis Kang might have some value as well as Vera.

I personally think Pearson has the most value. I might throw some on a Pearson-Kang parlay with the possibility of adding Hardy. Hardy also has some value on it but i gotta watch mroe tape before deciding.

Swick’s going to rip through Hardy.

I really like Wilks at the underdog in the fight with Matt Brown. That fight is going to be fight of the night, regardless.

He is the only fighter I’ve bet on so far. I got him straight up and parlayed with Gegard and Fedor.

I’ve been wanting to bet on Mike Swick as well, but just haven’t gotten around to it. I’d prefer to get him better than 2 to 1.

Kang is too much of a wildcard for me to bet on. You never know which Kang will show up or where his head will be.

Great odds on Couture and Wilks, I would bet on Ross but he’s going to be overmatched on the ground against a big LW like Riley. Kang also has good odds, as I don’t see what Bisping can do to beat him plus if he fights aggressively like he claims he’ll get counterpunched by Kang’s right, otherwise he’ll get picked apart in every aspect of MMA. I want Hardy to win but I don’t think he will, though I might put a bit of money on him as he’s the underdog and could pull off the upset with a big punch or knee, though Swick will be too much for him in my opinion.

Really? Swick, from such a good camp and the fastest hands in MMA (According to GSP), is a lock IMO.

Couture also, there’s no way Vera’s going to knock him out and Randy wins a decision 100% of the time between them two.

by Jammin on Nov 11, 2009 2:10 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

he’s -210 though and he could get caught fairly easily.

Vera wins by knock out…..Randy is not the same fighter who stopped Gabe…

by Robert(1) on Nov 11, 2009 5:41 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

sure he is.. Gabe was waaay over rated when he fought him, and since then Couture has fought Brock.. who wont lose for a long time.. and Nog which was a hell of a war. Randy TKO for sure.

Wow someone on here actaully responded without acting like a jerk…thanks Mike
Nog is for sure a great figter but he really doesn’t floor people the way he did Randy and yes Brock is a beast but both times Brock hurt him the shots didn’t seem that hard, I’m thinking father time has finally caught up with Randy and his ability to take a shot, I could be wrong but Vera has good solid strikes that will land at some point….

Well I guess GSP could be mistaken. Vitor and Anderson have the fastest hands in MMA…

I have a Parlay on Couture and swick. Best bet i can see on this one.

Anybody else see some value?

by Jammin on Nov 11, 2009 2:07 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I could really see Veras speed and youth giving ol’ man Rando trouble. I’m going to hold off bets on this event though.

These 3 prelim fights will all be off the hook:

170 lbs.: Matt Riddle (3-0) vs. Nick Osipczak (4-0)
155 lbs.: Terry Etim (13-2) vs. Shannon Gugerty (12-3)
170 lbs.: John Hathaway (11-0) vs. Paul Taylor (10-4-1)

I really hope we get to see 2 of the 3

I’m especially excited for the Hathaway vs Taylor fight. Hathaway has looked really good and Tatylor always puts on good fights. Should be a show.

by DB on Nov 11, 2009 3:18 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

If Hathaway wins this they need to give him at least a top ten guy next.

by DolFan on Nov 11, 2009 6:33 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Agreed

Hathaway IMO is the best kept secret in UK MMA. He has barely been touched in 11 fights.

He was offered Kos back at the last UK show but it was at too short of a notice to make the cut (he has fought at m/w for all but UFC fights).

He has got serious skills, very strong for his build and great on the ground.

by nicky on Nov 12, 2009 3:22 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

they don’t have parlays for mma in vegas…and if you don’t know what it is you dont want to play it.. parlays are a hell of a gamble.. google parlay it will explain it better than i can.
