You know who the winner of this season is? Me. You know why?Because I have such awesome self control and discipline that, aside from enjoying watching Kimbo lose, did not buy into Dana’s bullshit hype like most of you and did not watch this season.
Bow Down, Fools!!!!

Do you enjoy MMA? If so why don’t watch?

Appears to me as a stupid decision by you to deprive yourself of something you like (presuming you do like MMA). Its just a show, no one is going to die or be given control of the world. Just enjoy the fights.

SO WHY HATE SO MUCH?

What did you expect from Dana to say? “Nah not worth watching this season why don’t you go play with your balls instead”. Using Kimbo was a clever move, he is obtaining ratings on a smaller show because of him. You can’t hate him for trying to make cash.

The show sucks. It has for a while now (like 4 or 5 seasons) Sorry it took you however many episodes to figure that out.

I feel bad for you…passing up on free mma fights…darn shame…

by Rob on Nov 11, 2009 12:41 PM EST up reply actions

From what I read, the fights were very lackluster.

go watch last week fight then a giant with a really good ground game pulling off a slick submission from off his back in less then a min. get over yourself and just stfu

I’d have that much anger as you do if I was duped into watching episode after episode. Laughable.

Mex, no one is gettign “diped” into anything… we like a show, so we watch it! Last season sucked, every other season I have really enjoyed! Have fun reading about the fights

thats like refusing to miss a CFL game just cause its free…a lot of things in life are free but that doesn’t make them good…most fights I’ve watched from TUF this year ARE NOT MMA fights but merely 2 idiots under trained and over confident.

But Mac, that’s what the show is about…amateurs!

If anyone is expecting professional level MMA, then they’re watching the wrong show!

Got to go with Big Country winning the show

I hate him though. He’s just so full of himself. Thinks everyone looks up to him just because…

i just fast forward to the fights and even that has been dissapointing this season. they should have given these guys more of a notice so they could have learned some actual skills before coming into tuf. this season is the worst ever by far, none of these guys will ever be contenders in the hw division. even big country(the likely winner)would get thrashed bythe top five hw’s in the ufc. this whole season was a fucking joke. fuck you dana white!!!

by Conan the Barbarian on Nov 11, 2009 12:57 PM EST reply actions

I agree that mostly nobody has any chances of becoming a great HW. Wren has some potential but will never be great. Big Country would have been great by now if he was going to be. Kimbo……. Schoonver has titties. Mitrione seems to have the physical ability but his mental aspect is completely banana’s. Madsen looks to be too small at HW. McSweeney and Schaub have some potential, but McSweeney would need to REALLY work on his cardio which is doable. Marcus shows great potential but a NFL career might have ruined his body too much to ever be competitive at the highest level. I would say the fighters on the show with the biggest upside are Demico Rogers, Schaub and maybe Mitrione if he got his head right. Madsen would do well at 205 I think.

In all fairness, the first rounds aren’t usually un-impressive. Second round usually turns it up a notch.

I don’t get it? Do you guys really miss the Junie Brownings, and the “cum in the sushi” thing that much? Come on, enjoy the show for what it is – NOT A MAIN EVENT.

by UFC Champ on Nov 11, 2009 8:51 PM EST up reply actions

Does the video not work for anyone else?

by Irishmikey on Nov 11, 2009 1:51 PM EST reply actions

Worked fine for me.

by RyGuy on Nov 11, 2009 1:57 PM EST up reply actions

It works for me, but it wouldn’t go fullscreen.

by David W-S on Nov 11, 2009 3:06 PM EST up reply actions

Roy-Justin should be the fight of the series, both are excellent grapplers and I’m looking forward to seeing how that fight plays out. Justin looked superb on the ground against Sims and Roy gets a lot of stick just for being the fat guy that beat Kimbo and got cheated against AA and Monson. Along with Brendan and Marcus, these are the 2 most impressive fighters of the series, and one of them 4 will win.

by David W-S on Nov 11, 2009 3:08 PM EST reply actions

Saying none of these guys will make it in the UFC isn’t really saying anything anymore. We all know this. There are more guys in the UFC from the first 2 seasons then the rest combined. (not counting the USA vs UK season. They are still weeding them out). That being said, I’m still all about the free fights.
