Strikeforce tickets for 'Evolution' at the HP Pavilion on Dec. 19 on sale soon

Tickets for Strikeforce: "Evolution" at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif., will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, November 13 at 10 a.m. PT.
However, "Strikeforce Insiders" e-newsletter subscribers will be afforded a special pre-sale ticket purchase opportunity that begins Tuesday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. PT.
Strikeforce Insiders will receive a special e-newsletter with the pre-sale code.
The event will mark the promotion’s return to its home base of San Jose after successfully holding its first event in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with Strikeforce: "Fedor vs. Rogers" on November 7, in its prime time debut on CBS.
Confirmed for San Jose is a middleweight tilt between former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Cung Le and the always-game Scott "Hands of Steel" Smith.
Several of the promotion’s other top fighters will be in action on the card as well, including a middleweight bout pitting staunch MMA veteran Matt "The Law" Lindland versus grappling guru Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza.
Fast-rising light heavyweight prospect Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal is expected to appear as well as "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler against opponents yet to be named.
It’s going to be a great night of fights. If you live in the Northern California area be sure to snag your tickets as quickly as possible.

This card should be full of fireworks with Cung, Scott Smith, Robie Lawler and King Mo. Jacarae and Lindland should be a good match too. Pretty good card, maybe Ill make it to this one.

Yeah, Mo is a overhyped roundmouth third rate (at best) fighter. I’m no Rampage fan but I would love to see him wreck Lawal.

A little off topic.
Ratings are in Strikeforce did a 3.79 Million Viewers on CBS last night from 9-11pm, those numbers were not as good as Kimbo did on CBS but were better than the second Elite XC show on CBS. Wonder where CBS goes from here?

Wow terrible numbers relatively. Everyone was saying 4 mil and below would be a disappointement. Any numbers on the UFC show?

I think now that Fedor has generated some fame from this show, the next time should sell easier. I would wait till next March and do Overeem vs. Fedor and put Gina on the undercard.

this is a very good solid follow up card. strikeforce really are doing this properly. will be able to put on another good card in jan/feb poss.
would expect to see lashley sign and on this or the next card. if they keep signing enough fighters and playing things confident yet sensible they will grow into a much larger promotion!
