this is what they showed during the CBS event right? The graphics look cleaner than Undisputed. I’m sure the gameplay will be similar. The roster won’t be as deep though. We’ll see.

i dont think I’m going to like the gameplay here. just this little clip has made me doubt. but we’ll see.

to go along with the guys down below, i WILL be playing this game on MUTE. F these Strikefarce announcers.

Fedor the God!

John G… I’m looking for an Un-biased opinion, so you might be the wrong person. I had never seen Fedor fight before and while I was impressed with the way he launched himself into the KO of Rogers, he didn’t seem like a GOD to me. Can you give me an honest break-down of this fight from Fedor point of view, or can anyone.

by BeerMan on Nov 8, 2009 10:41 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Fedor was losing this fight on the score cards, for sure. He wasn’t able to keep a guy (with no Jitz sweeps or wrestling to speak of) on the ground. He waited for the big man to gas then threw a lucky punch and won when his opponent was still conscious and defending his face. Game over.

by jay on Nov 8, 2009 10:52 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

If you looking to see why Fedor is considered the greatest fighter just youtube his fights against CroCop, Nogueira, Randlemann, Sylvia, Arlovski, Kohsaka, Fujita, and Herring.

i love how people watch 1 fedor fight in there life and think their opinion about him matters..like seriously that was the only fight beerman watches and he thinks he knows what fedor is about..and i bet ufc’s second game blows this outta the water, and i would seriously comtemplate buying this game if i haft to listen to mauro renallo as the analyst

by JG on Nov 8, 2009 11:15 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Wow Jay, I disagree. I think Fedor was winning for sure, no doubt, I mean seriously. He rocked Rogers in the first round and took him down a few times and the only time he ended up on his back was when he went for a kimorua so I mean Rogers landed 1 straight and landed some ground and pound while Fedor stayed busy and unphased by any of it. And to answer BeerMan’s question the thing that is so awe inspiring about Fedor (in my opinion) is his self control. You know getting his nose broke hurt but he didn’t flinch, you know those ground and pound hits hurt but he stayed busy and going for the submissions. But, that is Fedor being Fedor, I was actually more surprised by how well Roger’s did. By the way I watched the fight last night with a buddy who was born in the Ukraine and Fedor’s translator was not doing a very good job lol. Also, someone posted this a while back and it has changed since last night but…

There is only ONE fighter that has beaten:

JG..read what I wrote. I never once acted like I knew what he was about. I actually asked if a fedor fan could break down his performance for me. (even went as far as to say his ko was impressive). What were you reading?

by BeerMan on Nov 8, 2009 11:38 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Oh and JG by the way…I didn’t give an opinion. I asked for one.

by BeerMan on Nov 8, 2009 11:39 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

why fedor is a damn demi-god, he tends to take what ever his opponets are best at, and is always still standing. unlike lyoto he is not too elusive, and will take big shots from the hardest hitters in the game, gets slamed by the best wrestlers, grapples with the best sub artists, and never, NEVER goes out, and that is just his defense. For being one of the smallest HW’s you will be hard pressed to find a harder hitter, for being a puggy little guy, he is crazy fast, and can pull armbars as fast as any fighter in mma. There is too much to list about how great this guys is, but bottem line is he is damn amazing, and as humble as it gets, wich makes him about the most likablbe guy in mma, but for some reason people can’t hate on him enough.

EdgeCrusher, you would have given the first round to Rogers? Wow. You are officially worse than Cecil Peoples. WOW.

Not Rogers, Fedor. First sentence.

by guyverbob on Nov 8, 2009 12:40 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

The first round was much closer than I thought it would be. I thought Fedor would TKO him in the 1st. Rogers put some hurtin on Fedor in the 1st but I think you still gotta give it to Fedor. I think its just the fact that it was Fedor who Rogers was able to hurt a bit so it makes it a bigger deal becuase he seems untouchable.

by FightTrends.com on Nov 8, 2009 1:00 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Re-watch the round Jay, seriously, I did. Fedor was never in danger, when Rogers was actually rocked once. Rogers landed 1 straight jab that yes opened Fedor’s nose. Fedor scored take downs and the only time he ended up on his back was when Fedor was threatening for a Kimora. So he was threatening again and in grappling if you are going for the sub sometimes it puts you on your back but you are the one threatening and in grappling Fedor ending up on his back because of going for the submission would not score points for Rogers because Fedor put himself there by threatening and then Rogers landed a couple punches while Fedor again grabbed an arm. In every sense the round was dictated by what Fedor wanted to do. I have firm backing for my opinions, and what are your reasons for giving it to Grim if I am so off base here? What point would you give Rogers? 1 jab and couple of ground and pound hits that he couldn’t even control… that doesn’t stack up to Fedor rocking Rogers, threatening submissions and scoring takedowns.

by Edgecrusher71 on Nov 8, 2009 2:44 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Guyverbob haha, I’m married man, and like I posted I did not come up with those numbers. Someone posted it on mania a while ago and I just copied and pasted it. Took about 25 seconds so not to much time out of my life.

by Edgecrusher71 on Nov 8, 2009 2:46 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Guyver, married for 12 years, thanks for the concern.
Edgecrusher71… I’m sure you know the three points for scoring an MMA bout, so I won’t go over them. Rogers was the aggressor while Fedor was always the last one to get the shot off. Cage control goes to Grim because he was in charge of who was where. When he wanted Fedor off him he threw him off. Take downs don’t mean anything if the guy on the bottom is able to throw you off with ease. It was a lot more than 1 jab that Grim landed, and none of Fedor’s sub attempts were close to damaging Grim or ending the fight. Fedor got out grappled by a guy with no background in Martial Arts. I thought for sure once this fight hit the ground Grim would look like Kimbo, but Fedor was the one flailing for position. I don’t really see how you could score it for Fedor, but it doesn’t matter this fight didn’t go to a decision and this debate is useless. Watch the fight as though you aren’t a fan of Fedor and just a guy walking by them fighting on a street corner. Grim was winning. Damage and reversing and nullifying take downs also score huge points.

by jay on Nov 8, 2009 2:55 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Whoops sorry Guyverbob, I thought you were talking to me about the girlfriend thing, sorry bud.

by jay on Nov 8, 2009 2:56 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

If you think Grim only landed one jab, take a look at the pics from after the fight. Fedor is jacked up. Grim looks like he could fight today.

by jay on Nov 8, 2009 2:58 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

haha ok i stand corrected..

by guyverbob on Nov 8, 2009 3:38 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Read the comment again, he landed like 2 or 3 and yes Fedor’s nose was bleeding at the end of the round but if that is a case for winning a round BJ has never lost a round in his life.

As far as the aggressor PLEASE PLEASE watch the fight again. Fedor had the center of the cage for damn near the whole fight while it was on its feet except for some hugging by Rogers and that is a fact, watch it. It is apparent Rogers knows some grappling (defensive grappling but it still counts) and being so much bigger it helps. I do a form a Jujitsu that incorporates grappling and I am a former college football D-lineman so I am big and I grapple guys at the Dojo who have been doing this a lot longer than I have but with my basic understanding and strength I can nullify a lot of things. Do I still regularly lose yeah but its usually because I have gotten so gassed that my size is kind of null. I have also grappled guys much larger than me who have almost no experience (this is not a case for my accomplishments or accolades) but experience that it does make a difference as far as size goes if the bigger man has a basic grasp of grappling. BUT IN NO WAY IS THAT BEING OUT GRAPPLED. Fedor threatened multiple submissions while Grim threatened about 3 punches, how is that being out grappled? In a grappling tourney Fedor would have been winning on points. Grim wouldn’t even have got one for putting Fedor on his back in most cases (depends on your judge) but because it was Fedor going for the finish that put him on his back Grim wouldn’t get points until he advanced his position which he did not. Your right though this could go on all day haha.

by Edgecrusher71 on Nov 8, 2009 3:49 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I dont know how he think rogers had octagon control…..fedor was stalking him down the whole fight…and to say rogers out grappled him is just retarded

THHHHHANK YOU JG.

by Edgecrusher71 on Nov 8, 2009 8:35 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Completely agree with JG and Edge, though I thought it was close enough to where a dumb judge could have given it to Rogers. As far as the “damage” Fedor took, I think he looked worse after his fight with Hong Man Choi, he just reddens easily. Comes with his pastiness I guess. Cofield put pictures of both of them and asked who seems to have lost the fight, what a dumbass. I’ve seen guys look worse after a friendly game of tackle football.

by xxzeus07xx on Nov 8, 2009 9:21 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Edge: thanks or taking the time to write an intelligent post supported by some good facts.

I personally thought Fedor won round 1. Only points Grim scored was a jab and 3 seconds of ground n pound. I was however impressed by the skills he displayed. I would be lying if I thought that Grim could defend fedor’s submission attempt or sweep fedor. I thought that once the fight went to the ground, it would be over in an instant. Props to Grim for actually having some sot of ground skills.

so is it official, Strikeforce will be the main mma league? Not sure if I could bare to hear Mauro Renallo, Frank Shamrock and Gus Johnson for long periods of time. They’re better in small doses. And Jimmy Lennon Jr? Lenne Hardt would be awesome!

I cant stand any of those guys. It makes me appreciate rogan and goldie a lil more! there so cheesy and gus seems like he know squat about mma! I deff couldnt stand to listening to them for extended periods of time!

They need to get “The Voice” Michael Schiavello
Hands down the best and funniest commentator’s in the world!!

THE VOICE!! He needs to get into the UFC NOW.

by frosnt on Nov 8, 2009 10:03 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

i like him in dream, always has beautiful lines for everything, by far the best commentator in the business

by Jared on Nov 8, 2009 12:14 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

The Voice is the man, EA should have made him the main commentator. Him and Mezger are a great pairing, though I’d love to have Schiavello-Rutten or Schiavello-Rogan on commentary, they’d make any fight entertaining because of their one-liners and witty banter plus all 3 are very knoweldgeable. Mauro is alright, Frank is far too indecisive for a colour commentator (he doesn’t even decide who won a round, anything can happen in MMA my arse) and Gus Johnson is just an idiot who is dragged out by CBS for all fight cards, even dozier than Goldberg. He shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a mic for a boxing or MMA show. Jimmy and Lenne are both great in their own way, got to love the Buffer Bros as well even if Michael doesn’t know anything about MMA.

by David W-S on Nov 8, 2009 2:07 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I agree, in fact one of the main reasons I have a hard time getting familiar or interested in any other MMA organazation is the unfamiliarity of the commentators voices and knowledge. UFC feels like home.

by yoububg on Nov 8, 2009 10:33 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

You can be proud youbudg of being a true closed minded person aka “typical UFC fan”, well you probably are proud too… But for the people who have open minds things like “new” don’t affect the perception of weather or not they “like” something. The point is to be able to enjoy something for what it is…

by oligoman on Nov 8, 2009 11:21 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I’ll rent this befor buying it EA usually makes good games but if it’s a knock off of Undisputed I’ll have no part in purchasing it as a MMA fan I’m a little pist at EA for not calling MMA a sport now that Undisputed sold how many games they want into MMA now? I still buy Madden and NHL every year I think it’s good for EA to taste their own medicine. If the game plays well I might purchase it depending how it compares to the new undisputed.

What is with the Fedor hate? He reminds me of Hardcore/Heavy Metal—we are glad you don’t like it/him; it makes us love it that much more. He shocked the world when he beat Herring and he has ruled with an iron fist ever since, give the man his f’ing dues. Fedor > God (even if he lost 3 fights in a row, he would still be the greatest of all time.)

by Big Mac on Nov 8, 2009 6:13 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

People hate Fedor because

-his biggest skill and success has been in avoiding dangerous fights and padding his record.

- he has denied fans the fights they want to see like Randy in 07/08 or Lesnar in 09 or Shogun, Machida, Anderson Silva, Rampage, Rashad etc. at 205.

- he fights a guy, who is about number 20 on most peoples lists of who we want to see him fight, but expects us to lap it up when he wins.

- he surrounds himself with money grabbing crooks M1, sycophantic scumbags garry/jerry millen and racist steroid abusers in RedDevil but still acts holier than thou and ponces around with the oppresive symbol of the christian church around his neck and a rasputin lookalike priest in tow.

- he said “fighting is not my passion, its just a job to me”

- he demanded a salary so far out of line with his market value over the last 5 years that he has killed off 3 MMA promtions and is currently busy sueing the wreckage of Affliction for every $ he can squeeze out of them.

- he is ugly as fuck and has the personality of a deppresive computer programmer.

- he parades around in a made up belt (WAMMA) from a made up organisation as if it means shit.

- dickheads like you fall so blindly in love with him that you come out with idiotic delusional statements like – fedor is god and he rules with an iron fist.

we have all these reasons and more to hate Fedor do you need me to go on or do you get it now??….

by Paniczoo on Nov 8, 2009 7:03 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Paniczoo, I disagree with a few points, but you are 100% correct on a lot of that stuff. I don’t hate Fedor, I hate his blind fans.

by jay on Nov 8, 2009 12:26 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I found your rant here to be informative as well as fairly accurate. I was impressed with the knockout. But felt like he made Rodgers look good. Rodgers clearly has some power in those hands, but he is big and lumbering. I would like to see Fedor drop down a weight class and fight some of the elite light heavyweights, guys like you mentioned Shogun, Machida, Anderson Silva, maybe Belfort.

by FightinRoundtheWorld on Nov 8, 2009 12:48 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Thanks, worst thing is im a big MMA fan and I would like to be a big Fedor fan, but he just wont let it happen… its like a really hot chick who is good in bed but everything she says and everything she does just pisses you off. You might enjoy boning her but you still hate her afterwards, just like I enjoy watching Fedors fights but just cant bringmyself to like the guy. Maybe if he drops M1 and Garry Jerry Millen, but that would be like getting a hot chick to disown her annoying best friend…

Fedor – people want to like you, stop being such a cock about money, get some passion for fighting and drop the losers that cling on to you, fight better competition! ALLOW US TO LOVE YOU.

by paniczoo on Nov 8, 2009 9:43 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

UTTER NONSENSE!!! Fedor is the G.O.A.T. hands down.

by Obey_Giant_Silva on Nov 8, 2009 6:38 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

lol he is denying fights we want. why does it always seem like fedor has to hunt down “the best fights”. They can always go to him!

fedor doesnt have to love fighting. its how he makes money which is fine. aslong as i can watch it.

Fans of popular fighters/sports stars/teams are always annoying…deal with it! its not fedors fault.

Fedor didnt sink affliction their buisness stratgy did. they paid a load to all their fighters.

i’m not even a crazy fedor fan. i just love mma.

by AWilk on Nov 8, 2009 8:15 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

he doesnt have to hunt them down but it would help if he didnt turn them down when he is offered millions and publicy encouraged by fans to take the fights. he turned down the ufc when they offered him a fight with Randy after Pride folded and he just did the same thing a couple of months ago by turning down a title shot against Brock Lesnar – he was having money thrown at him and fans were begging him to take both fights – he didnt – so people hate him for it.

Thats exactly the point – “its how he makes his money” – he doesnt care about the sport, he doesnt care about the organisations, he doesnt care about the fans, he doesnt care about the quality of fights, he just cares about himself and taking our money – selfish, shallow greedy people tend to be hated – so we hate fedor.

annoying fans – It is Fedors fault – he constantly sells himself and surrounds himself with others who sell him as a god – people who try to trick the masses into believing they are god like -so we hate fedor.

It shappened too many times to give Fedor the benefit of the coubt, Fedor is the red death of MMA Promotions. If fedor and his opponents had been paid the same as the ufc main eventers affliction et al. would have broken even and still been around, he positions himself financially as a huge draw but then neglects to even attempt to promote himself or his fights or the org he fights for, he is a paracite sucking up gulable fans money and sucking the life out of the MMA industry – again it comes down to him not caring about anything else but himself and his $ like you said – so people hate him.

The original question was “why all the fedor hate” im answering that question – not saying its good or bad / right or wrong that people hate him, just explaining some of the many, many reasons why.

by paniczoo on Nov 8, 2009 9:30 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Paniczoo, Fedor has never once called himself a god or said that he is the best ever. Thats a label that others have stuck on him.
Fedor didn’t sink affliction, Josh Barnett did when he was taking roids and was banned from fighting in the main event of their biggest show ever, nothing to do with fedor being demanding.
As for Fedor only caring about money, surely you disproved that when you said that he didn’t jump at the millions of dollars that Dana supposedly offered him.
As for calling him a paracite “sucking the life” out of mma, I just think that’s quite a bizzare thing to say about the most successfull mma fighter of all time.

What I don’t get, is what you want him to do?
Join the UFC? Yer… there is an org that really gives a sh*t about MMA. Cut Thales Leites 14-3 and re-sign Phil Baroni 6-5. Sporting Integrity?.. no

Fedor haters hate Fedor because they actually belive the sh*t that Dana white spouts and because they are unfamiliar with him.

by Spinning Fat Kick on Nov 9, 2009 6:55 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

He will not be considered “the greatest of all time” by me until he joins the UFC and face some real competition. And even then he has a long way to go before he’s got me convinced.

Hmm real competition… i guess bret rogers was a bugs bunny cartoon… anyone trying to knock your head off is real competition.. you are just brainwashed by the ufc into thinking there can only be one mma promotion… Perhaps we should just have restaurant for the whole world too.. that would mean we can eat “real” hamburgers…

beating brett won’t make u number one, its keeps u in the top ten but how does this really prove hes the ebst..

by guyverbob on Nov 8, 2009 3:38 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I’m so sick of the UFC fanboys bashing Fedor. UFC is awesome, but that doesn’t diminish non-UFC fighters. Brock is great and one of my favorites to watch due to his intensity, but still very green. Fedor would take him out. Cain, Dos Santos and Carwin look promising, but still green. Seriously, they have not beat enough quality fighters to be in the same cage with Fedor. I wouldn’t give them a better chance than Grimm. Fedor whooped Big Nog twice. Who else is there? Mir? Please. He is inconsistent. Kongo? Really, who is there that Fedor needs to beat to prove he is #1. I love Randy, but he’s lucky Dana cockblocked that fight. Explain how you figure these UFC heavyweights are so impressive or better yet how Fedor is not? Oh, that’s right, he’s not in the UFC, I forgot.

by Obey_Giant_Silva on Nov 8, 2009 6:46 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Birkanoff, this may surprize you but Fedor has been around for almost a decade now and totally cleaned out the ranks of every org he has ever been with, who in the UFC would you want him to fight that would convince you? Big Nog, he already did that and destroyed him, Brock Lesnar? Shane Carwin? Cain Velasquez? how is fighting Brock 4-1 or Cain 7-0 any more legit than fight Brett 10-0 even Carwin is only 11-0, 1 more win than Brett. You are just Soooo blinded by the UFC. just because the UFC spends alot of money promoting their fighters, doesn’t mean that they are better than fighters in any other org. SEE PAST THE MEDIA HYPE!!! Fedor has never sold himself by trash talking or doing loads of interviews or going to events, he is the huge star that he is PURELY because of his fighting skill and all that he has achieved. Who in the UFC can you say that about?

by Spinning Fat Kick on Nov 9, 2009 8:02 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

sure fedor has won a ton of fights. but against who? sub-par opposition who wouldnt see the light of day in the UFC. he had his chance. who the @#$^ is brett rogers compared to fighting someone like nogueira, lesnar, couture, mir, carwin, or velasquez. if he wanted it to happen he would have made it happen regardless of what m-1 thinks. he had his chance. now all he looks like to me is a sissy sell out. i had respect for him, but all that is gone now. pity.

FEDOR HAS A BETTER RECORD THAN BROCK, SHAIN AND CAIN ALL PUT TOGETHER, AND HE DESTROYED BIG NOG, YOU THINK EITHER OF THOSE TOP UFC GUYS ARE GOING TO WIN THEIR NEXT 20 FIGHTS IN A ROW!? and don’t give the line about dodging competition because that’s been covered above. PLUS!! if you go for an entire 10 year career and win the title in every org you have ever been involved with and only ever lose once because of a cut from an illegel elbow, then as far as I’m concerned you don’t really have anything left to prove. It seems to me that alot of you UFC guys have only just come across him or something.do some frakin’ research!! PLUS if you think that Fedor is hanging around with money grabbing crooks then how is joining the UFC going to change that? If the UFC really give a f**k about the sport of MMA on the whole then why is it that they cut Thales Leites 14-3 and resigned Phil Baroni 6-5???? All the UFC care about is making money from uneducated f**ks. Don’t get me wrong I watch the UFC every time it’s on and have been to see it live, but PLEASE don’t try and tell me that they have any more integrity than any other organization because they damn well freakin don’t. AAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!

The whole thing looks like a cinematic so I doubt the game will look as good as what we’re seeing. Also I can already tell the fight announcers are REALLY annoying. But who knows untill it comes out.

The game looks lame to me. too flashy like strikeforce. and no Strikeforce will not be the premier league.

the grachics don`t look good and it a really bad commerical they made

Fedor has no fear. More impressive than any of his previous fights. I had predicted Rogers by 1st round KO and he did break Fedor’s nose with a jab. I am thus more impressed as Fedor’s legend grows. Wow!

The graphics and the gameplay both looked bad in the commercial. Color me disappointed.

the very beginning looked good (walking to the stare down) after that….not good..plus i really hate the announcers and interviewers in strikeforce..

I’m not expecting much from this game! I think the game play will be good at all, plus their will be like 3 good fighters – fedor, gegard, and couture. i think the game will be a C+ at best. and the trailer was stupid, because everyone knows Rogers couldn’t fight that well with Fedor, just look at last nights fight. Fedor= #1

it was nice listening to a fight without hearing Rogan yelling: “ewww leg kick” – on even a glancing leg kick

“he’s got a guillotine- it’s deep” – on a guillotine that is trapping only the head

“he may be ahead but he may of waste some energy in that first round” – on a guy that solidly won the first round

Yeah what was with Gus Johnson bossing Rogers around after the fight? I was hoping Bret would’ve palm faced him and walked away.

I woudlnt be shocked to see the UFC and EA team up down the road to create a game. EA Sports has the name and marketing to make it much more successful than what THQ can do I think. I can see Dana and EA reaching an agreement on this.

I hope you are right..EA with the UFC’s roster would be a huge success…though it’ll probably be a few years down the road as Im sure theres some sort of contract with THQ for a few more games..or until Dana’s butt-hurt from his previous EA deal failure wears off.

Fedor=the best mma fighter EVER

by bullfighter3 on Nov 8, 2009 3:22 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I rarelly write to mma blogs but I couldn’t keep my thoughts in me anymore.Forgive me if my english is not perfect.I’m a big mma fan for 5 years now and I own all Pride DVD’s and all Ufc DVD’s.My favourite fighter ever is Wanderlei Silva and very close are Anderson Silva,St Pierre,Shogun and Fedor.I’m not very passionate about arguing about who’s the best cause I respect all opinions, even if I don’t always agree. The only time that I’m partial is when Wandy losses[I always find excuses for him].That being said I have to say that I consider Fedor the best mma fighter of all times no matter the weight class. He’s in the only weight class that has no strict weight limit, he’s the smallest heavyweight[along Randy]and he ALWAYS WINS.He’s ability to absorb punishment isn’t human[he has an iron jaw],he beats strikers at striking and grapplers at grappling. While he’s not always looking invincible[mostly bacause of the weight and height difference in some matches]he ALWAYS pulls a win[most of the times in great fashion].Plus he’s very humble, very down to earth and likeable. Those characteristics make him a living legend.I’m not fazed from the Brett Rogers fight.I’m talking because I see a lot of hate and I find it completely stupid. When someone is on top has many[usually on the bottom]people hating.People face it.Anderson got OWNED in the Daitzu Takase fight, went blow for blow with Ryo Chonan before lossing in DRAMATIC fashion and lost a decision in the begining of his career by a guy who didn’t respect[he kissed him on the lips during the staredown, something Fedor would naver do to any opponent].St Pierre has a clear loss by Matt Hughes and a 2nd one by Serra[although that doesn’t count so much cause it was a bit of luck in my eyes involved].Fedor has never ever lost.Stop talking about the competition he’s faced cause top fighters today get owned by lesser ones every two or three UFC events.Talking about Randy or Mir defeating him is ridiculous. If a fight with Brok happens and get’s defeated[that’s a big if] he’s still gonna be the best cause he is a true martial artist. He hase the composure, the skills, the bases[Sambo champion]and the record of a living legend.Just watch all of his fights.Respect people who are good at what they do.Most important respect someone who is the BEST at what he does.I would appreciate responds.I rarelly write to mma blos as I mentioned.

The reason you see so much hate bull is because he is not giving the fans what they want to see and thats him fighting the best fighters and there is no denying the best are in the UFC today have you seen what has happened to boxing and the best are not fight the best competition and thats sad for any sport. If he wants respect then he should earn it like everyone else and stop living on what he did in the past fans seen what happened to boxing and see the BS in Fedor. Yes he is a living legend but I have more respect for NOG. He needs to be proving it every fight and sad thing is he beat Strikeforces best fighter(in my mind) and has two easy fights left on his contract we all seen Werdum in the UFC and that fight will be another fight that proves nothing. The fans are speaking like they should we don`t need a Don King(M1) type of promoter telling us he is doing something special right now when it`s obvious he`s not.

To all who continue to bash fedor after every fight he wins. He is not a god. he is not perfect. He is possibly the best fighter on the planet and also more importantly one of the most exciting fighters on the planet. His style is so different to say andersons or gsps due to his commitment to finish and fully commit. he actualy takes more risks so when he looks a little human by taking a couple of punchs etc ppl go nuts about him being no good.

it is only due to the riddiculous over assertion of fedors god like status by his fans that have created this bizzare over critique.

ps was a good fight.
