UFC 108 tickets for MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Jan. 2, for sale soon

Tickets for UFC 108, which is slated for the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Jan. 2, will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 12 p.m. PT.

UFC Fight Club members and UFC Newsletter subscribers, naturally, will be able to scoop up tickets prior to them being available for public consumption.

UFC 108 is expected to feature a reshuffled main event between ailing heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar (if he can recover from a serious illness), and number one division contender, Shane Carwin.

Anderson Silva was expected to headline the event, defending his 185-pound title against former light heavyweight champion, Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort. However, "The Spider" will likely need more time to recover from elbow surgery before returning to action so soon in the New Year.

Former 205-pound champion, Rashad Evans, is currently penciled in to collide with Brazilian slugger, Thiago Silva, in the co-featured fight of the night.

UFC 108 will serve as the traditional year-end blockbuster pay-per-view (PPV) show for the promotion, meaning that tickets will likely sell super fast. So don’t delay if you intend to watch it all go down live in "Sin City."

UFC Fight Club presale: Thursday, Nov. 12 17 at 10 a.m.
UFC Newsletter presale: Friday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m.
General tickets sale: Saturday, Nov. 14 at 12 p.m.

UFC 108 tickets can be purchased through StubHub.com (Note: StubHub often has seats available even if the event is "sold out"). It will also be available to watch on PPV at 10 p.m. ET on fight night.

So I guess that Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva will end up being the main event. Should by a good fight, but not nearly as exciting as Brock vs. Carwin or A. Silva vs. Vitor.

if you plan on buying tickets anyone DON’T buy in advance, wait until the very very last minute and buy them off ebay or something, because by the time this one comes around half the fights will suck and you can get them half price or just save yourself money and not go, to many injuries

bj is about to fight diego so can’t put a LW title fight, gsp is said to not be fighting until feb or later so no WW title fight, A. Silva might not make it ‘cause of elbow surgery so might not have a MW title fight, Machida just fought but also injured his hand so no LHW title fight, and Lesnar is still too sick to train, so possibly no HW fight… gonna be the first time in a long til that this end year/new year card might go without a title fight. Maybe they’ll do an interm for… well none of the divisions really need an interm but i guess HW, Velasques vs Big Nog. Interesting match with advantage to Nog imo.

maybe a chuck lidell vs mark coleman fight or watch them come to agreement with hendo to fight in main event interim title vs marquadt

For those who think that this is a lame or bad card, you’ve got to be smoking crack. Regardless of what the headliner is, this is easily one of the most stacked cards ever put together, especially if you like strikers.This card is absolutely loaded. Natedog77, that is a good suggestion for a headliner Evans/Shogun. The only problem is if Shogun loses, we will be robbed of the greatest rematch in the history of the UFC= Machida/Shogun

Brock won’t be ready…meaning no title fight on this card.

The UFC has to step up and make mandatory time limits for defending titles, because this is getting ridiculous. It’s one thing if a fighter injures himself during a fight, but another thing if it isn’t fight related.

Look for another HW “Interim Title” to be awarded at this event.

….besides, even if Crock was fighting on this card (which he isn’t)…your list of fights is sub-par for the yearly “biggest card of the year” slot in the schedule.

Strikeforce Nov.7th event has a better card than the one you listed, IMO……flame away.
