This is a stacked card. The ufc should take notes…

Stacked for sure but this has the majority of their stars. Unless DREAM wants to share now, they’re left with Overeem, Diaz, Robbie, Smith, Gil, Josh T, King Mo, and guys who can barely headline Challenger series. Mind you this is across four weight divisions and none of these guys brings in viewers aside from ticket buyers in their local mkts. Also they’re planning to do something like 12 big shows a year but a lot of small ones so it’s gonna be hard.

Don’t forget Roger Gracie and Hershel Walker.

Roger actually doesn’t want to do MMA. He only cares about BJJ but his standing as possibly the greatest gracie of all is why there is a lot of pressure on him to go into MMA. Sad business. And Herschel might have a few fights in him but i doubt his impact on ratings.

I thought that Roger signed a contract with them a few months back… my bad. Herschel, well I was only saying it as a joke but you’re right I doubt his impact on ratings too.
Where did you got your news on Buakaw when you said that FEG hates him and he’s completely over fighting for them? Did he really said that?

Alpha he did sign a contract. He just isn’t excited about it. Won’t make his SF debut until January-March.

Ya just like Houston.
Except he’s worked his way up to fight the best hw and arguably the best fighter on the planet.
Oh, and he’s actually going out of his way to train with guys like Barnett, take up meditation and breathing techniques.
Oh, shoot & hasn’t Houston lost a couple fights? Like say I unno getting put to sleep by the sandman, & decapitated by Silva?
Eff! And Rogers is 10-0! Come to think of it he’s nothing like Houston except for a lack of ground game that u guys suspect is not there. Suspect!
FEDOR will beat Rogers. But that doesn’t warrant Rogers as a non legit hw. Losing to FEDOR isn’t game over. Ask Nog

you missed my point…Houston Ko’d Jardine and people were saying the same things they are saying about Rogers after he ko’d AA
Both were not proven on the ground
Both become popular after quick ko’s
Both display ko power
Both don’t know how to throw punches correctly
Both were fed to the wovles way to quickly
I could be wrong and I am wrong alot of the times, this is just MO…
ps I like Rogers and Houston, but Fedor is Fedor

this is a surprisingly good card,
They no match for the UFC yet but strikeforce is getting a pretty good roster,
specially if they managed to pick up page and hendo
by CoNr on Nov 3, 2009 7:50 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
Page couldn’t go sign with SF. He still has a contract with the UFC. It would be the same thing that happened with Randy when he ‘retired’.

realy you think that CoNr. man that is dumb they will shuffle the same 3 or 4 fighters like affliction. what they need to do is focus on up and comers and market the poop out of them.

Guys lets all chip in a dollar each and buy Rogers a good and supportive bra.
Who’s in?

why don’t you just lend him one of yours, Lester! Friends don’t let friends sag!

My prediction…
Rogers comes out with a flurry. Fedor seems a bit timid. Rogers almost knocks of Fedor and has him on the ground. Fedor somehow finds and arm bar.
Another highlight reel.
