It’s hard not to like Mayhem and I’ve been a Mayhem Monkey for a long while now. This should be a great fight but Sheilds seems to always find a way to win and I think he’s one of the smarter in-ring fighters there are and he adapts well to every situation he finds himself in. Mayhem laid it out…he needs to keep it standing where he has an advantage. I don’t think Sheilds will be able to submit him cause Mayhem is a good scrambler on the mat and his grappling skills are nothing to scoff at. I think this will be a split decision and I think that Sheilds will get enough takedowns to sway the judges but I’ll be rooting for Mayhem.

Good post Busta!
I think that Shields will have problems to takedown Mayhem and keep him there. Mayhem by UD.

I agree that Mayhem will get back on his feet even if Shields takes him down cause he’s a great scrambler but as we’ve seen many times in many fights…judges give a lot more to takedowns than they do for getting back to your feet. I just hope that the strength advantage that Mayhem will have will be enough to keep this fight standing as long as possible. I hope we see some crazy moves from Miller as well. This is going to be a great fight but I can’t see either one finishing the other.

i think at +220 mayhem is a good bet, as seen with the jacare fight he can definitely hold his own on the ground, he just cant get too caught up down there and needs to punish shields or as u said, he will lose a decision

a mayhem/silva parlay pays out at +650 wow! i think both of these guys have a good shot at winning

Miller “This has to be my masterpeice”

Shields is not winning this… I can’t see Miller getting sloppy and falling into a choke witch is shields only prayer.

It’s already over but the crying

I’d like to hear Miller try and say “Suffering Succotash”.
This knucklehead is going to get worked by Shields.
Miller and Lawal should start a “Undeserved Hype For Goofy Entrances” club.

how does shields win? jacare couldn’t even submit miller and he is 300x better than jake shields, miller is bigger, stronger, and better standing, shields can’t submit miller and gets that 1 dimensional side exploited in this fight.. shields is like maia without a lot of skill, he can grapple really well but he sure as shit can not stand

You’ll see come Saturday. I’ll even bet my sign on/screen name (whatever it’s called) on it.

Im calling Miller for the win. Ive said it from the beginning. I cant stand Shields. I really want to see him get knocked out hard core but I see a decision in this one.

“They’re gonna say ‘fight’; and I’m gonna clobber the guy that’s not wearing a shirt.”

Classic.

I see one problem with Miller’s strategy… he’s going to beat up the guy not wearing a shirt… he will also not be wearing a shirt.

I like Mayhem but, no way is he winning this fight. Shields by decision

mayhem wins this with ease..i dont see how anyone who knows anything about mma can say shields is gonna win..shields is 1 dimentional n is gonna get a reality check on saturday..if jacare couldnt submit miller than neither can shields…he stands no chance at all when it comes to submitting mayhem n on the feet too..

Is Mayhem Miller ever serious? hahaha
He’s pretty entertaining and I enjoy watching anything he’s featured in.
