Rogers is good but he is not on fedors level (but than again nobody is) he does have a punchers chance but that’s it.

Who the hell is doing the voiceover in this clip? Sounds like Andy Rooney from 60 minutes. hahahaha

he has punchers chance if he is able to keep it standing you never know he could shock the world. most likely though Fedor will either take this to the ground and dominate or he will connect with his looping over hand hook like he did against AA him and henderson are the best at connecting with that strike even though not at a high rate when they do it’s lethal and dangerous against Strikers that throw a lot of punches Fedor & Hendeson will trade any jab to connect on one of those as well as they have good timing.

Yeah, it’s hard for me not to like Rogers. He’s hungry and has a good mindset. He doesn’t seem intimidated. Whether that’s ignorance or a strong mental game is yet to be seen. I’ll be really surprised if he pulls off the upset, but his hands are heavy.

thats why i wont be surprised arlovski didnt have against rogers that fight i dunno if it was poor preparation because thats the fastest arlovski’s ever been ko’d. fedor is the best but everyone can be beaten and rogers is a new generation of heavyweight so lets see how he stacks up against an old legend

It’s going to be so beautiful too see Fedro get knocked out. And being there live will only make it better. 1st round knockout.

Rogers comes off real humble. You almost hope he gets the win. If little Linland can rock Fedor and have him done (Thank God for the Top rope) I could only imagine that Grim has a huge punchers chance. He throws quick for a big guy. Has a decent chin. Be interesting to see if Fedor can weather the storm to get the takedown and the sub. He could legitimatly have a decent chance here as long as it stays standing. I would have given up a months worth of salary to see Grim just Ko Kimbo at that press conference. To bad that fight didn’t happen.

As Fedor’s biggest nuthugger, Rogers really scares me! If he puts one on any man’s chin, they are going down! I am hoping for either another Vintage Fedor armbar or a quick Demolition derbey similar to what he did to Sylvia!

I would like to see Grim vs. Sylvia down the line!

Does Rogers have a chance? Yes. As Frank says – anything can happen in MMA.

Will Rogers win? No.

Does this comentator sound like a douche? Indubitably.

If Rogers actaully knew had to throw a punch correctly, then I would give him shot….Fedor eats him alive

I think Rogers has a good chance. I really wont be surprised at all if he knocks Fedor out. its totally doable and he isnt afraid of Fedor one bit. He is gonna go for the kill.

Im calling it right now as Rogers by ko/tko.

Notice how Fedor trains with MMA gloves and Rogers trains with Boxing gloves. Fedor by TKO.

I think Rogers has a much better chance than you guys are giving him.

I just can’t see Fedor leaving himself open to a KO strike wich is the only chance most believe Rogers has and I agree but then again Serra did connect on GSp and Rogers if he connects can do the same. AA did a good job and made Fedor look bad for a short time but I believe his gameplan was that overhand hook the whole time against AA as he must of seen an opening from AA’s past fights. I don’t know the exact count but he threw at least five of those strikes against AA much like Hendo did against Bisping. I don’t think he will have the same gameplan for Rogers but if he seas an opening don’t be surprised to see that shot used against Rogers as well.

One thing is for sure FEDOR is P4P the Best… and this card will probably be better than the next 3 UFC cards including the last Shogun vs Machida card!!!!

Hopefully Fedor swallows his pride and tries to get this to the ground ASAP.

I think he won’t though, and he will trade with Rogers. I think Fedor gets clipped and stopped, round 1.

by Goob on Oct 30, 2009 7:51 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Rogers punches are not very technical, so they can be hard to se coming. I think that if he had more technical boxing he would have a much better chance against fedor. Im a huge fedor fan and in his last few fights ive been worried that he could get knocked out, but he always seems to win. I gave tim sylvia and arlovski a better shot at winning because those straight punches could connect before fedor lands his looping hooks.

Fedor is just to good, he is the most cerebral fighter, he just doesn’t get fazed; how does he come back from getting clipped by fujita and slammed on his head by randleman. While there is always a cahnce that fedor could lose, he always seems to pull off a win.

I predict Fedor making a statement with this fight to the US and Canadian fans, similar to the zulu and sylvia fights; Fedor by tko/ko round 1.

I am sure front to front punch this guy will kick ass if they go down to the ground this guy will be on top since he is the heavy one so he is in Control. if he is smart he can avoid fedor jujitsu tactics like armLock what he has to do is quickly stand up and continue front to front punch fights until Ko.
easy.. :D
