Yea he’s funny at times. But i’m just tired of the whole “I really don’t care much act”. Really think his mindset is completely wrong. Got 2 losses in a row. Dissapeared from the world. Said in an interview he wouldn’t mind retiring and training cops self defense techniques. He needs to start thinking he can once again become a contender for the title and train like that. Hope he just doesn’t become a Chris Leben (gatekeeper/big name/entertaining fighter)

Cant wait for TITO to send this fool crying out of the cage back to mommy. TITO by brutal PUNISHMENT!

Well said.
This was a worthless interview. I don’t even remember the last time forest gave a straight answer to a question.
It might be a defense mechanism he’s using in response to anxiety about the interview, who knows.
What I DO know is that Forest lost a fan since his days of TUF and shortly thereafter. I know he was goofy on the show, but it actually seemed genuine then.

Tito is gonna lay him out, Forrest can’t bus’ a grape and his wrestling isn’t good enough to compete with Tito. He was lucky Tito was injured the first time around, this time he ain’t getting so lucky!
War Tito!!

ah man come on guys, forrest is hilarious, he trains as hard as anybody, he just comes off real nonchalant like he doesnt care, but you know hes busting his a$$ every day in training… i like the care free attitude, welcome change from the roided out tough guy routine that we see so often

Yeah what is wrong with a guy not taking life so seriously? He is funny. He is also the hardest worker in the UFC.

its wrong becuase he doesn’t really believe it…he is a con-man

Robert c’mon seriously? That’s what you think? C’mon! He is a joker who likes to have fun, he isn’t pretending to have fun. He is the class clown you went to school with who never grew up.

Um yea maybe…but when he says he doesn’t care and than acts like he really does care, than I care…I just want people to be honest and be themselves….family, friends, movie stars, who ever…just be real

great post Robert1!
Jay you know whats wrong? some fans really care and want to hear what the man really has to say (Not me personally cause I couldnt care less what one of the most over rated fighters in mma has to say)..The man Never gives a straight answer, and hasnt been funny in years. Personally I would really like to hear what a fighter thinks for real, instead of lame jokes!

Tito vs. Forrest! This goes down as 1 of the most irrelevant main events in the history of the UFC between 2 of the most over rated fighters in UFC history!
by john G on Oct 29, 2009 7:40 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
John are u serious! This is a huge fight and is relevant for both of them and the UFC! If you didnt care about this fight you would not be posting any comments! why comment on anything that has no relevance! your comments were pointless …Tito by decision again!!
by MMAKilla on Oct 30, 2009 6:44 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
John is right. These guys are so irrelevant and talentless that this main event is kind of a sham. Tito isn’t even top 15 LHW anymore. Seriously try to give me a top 20 LHW who doesn’t have a more than great shot against either of these two. We have seen this changing of the guard twice in MMA or two generations of fighters assuming you don’t count guys from the proto-MMA eras. These two weren’t even good or great compared to the top guys from their own era, and now they aren’t good enough against the up and comers. If you split the nog-cane fight and make them fight ortiz-griffin who do you think wins?
by NameNotRequired on Oct 30, 2009 8:09 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
UMM First of all Nog and Cane are a different weight class – 2nd – 2 former champions who the UFC recognize as a main event and yet you dont!! get a clue… and even after your comments we know that youre still going to watch this “irrelevant fight”! and again if it had no relevance why are you reading and commenting? these are 2 former champions , with ortiz still holding the biggest ppv and most times winning defending the title. I will agree that mma has changed but you dont become a champion by fluke!! once again BIG FIGHT FOR both and the UFC- why would they resign an irrevelant fighter in tito!!!!! oh that rights its not!!

I thought Forrest took the first fight or at least a draw if the 1st round was 10-8.
And I’m a huge Tito supporter!
There’s a lot of questions in this fight:
Can Forrest rebound from back to back losses. Does he still belong in the top?
Is Tito back at 100%? Can he ever be dominant again? Ringrust?
I’m actually excited for this fight!!
Tito/lil nog. Forrest/Franklin

I agree. Thought the first fight was a draw, 10-8 Tito in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd to Forrest.
by PW on Oct 29, 2009 3:20 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
me too. I think everyone is underestimating both of these guys. I don’t think either will ever be champ again, but I think both of them are still capable of making a splash in the TOP 5 again. The LHW division is very light on grapplers these days and Tito can take a lot of punishment and still get most guys to the ground. Forrest just needs to go back to not giving a shit and fighting for fun. After thosw wins over Shogun and Rampage, he started taking himself too seriously and expecting too much of himself. He fights much better when he considers himself the hopeless underdog who’s just there to give it his all.
by shonuff on Oct 30, 2009 3:10 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Forest is one of my fighters because the way he acts makes me think that he just fights for fun. He doesnt fight because he has to feed a family or if he doesnt fight he will lose his house like most fighters. He just fights because he likes it same thing with Randy Couture and i think thats why people should fight.
by Mylah on Oct 29, 2009 2:31 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
well i want to see this fight cuz imo he did not lose to tito when they fought last..guess i should check fightmetric..anyways..basically if he loses this fight to pumpkin head he really should just go train cops and such..it’s apparent he doesn’t really give a f*ck..so why keep going in this direction..he is occasionally funny..i dunno..i am losing interest in forrest..where as before i really was behind him and thinking he was much better than maybe he is..we shall see..after his last fight, he needs to win..i’d like to see him run outta the octagon after winning..cuz that would actually be pretty funny.

Know why you had to post this 3 times….because it takes your slow mind that long to realize how stupid of a comment that was….a dive???! from anderson silva’s punches like that…your very naive and a fool to think that. No one here is criticizing his fighting ability just in the manner he handles his lose…which in my opinion is his own business to handle. Just as long as he shows to fight which he did..which is why he lost.

with my freedom of choice i choose to back fighter’s like Vitor who are trying to improve and have eye on the prize.
Forrest (who would KILL ME IN A REAL FIGHT) plays the whole empowerment/disempowerment by mocking himself and leaving himself outs, so if he loses it cushions the blow. It worked for rabbit in 8 mile taking away the other guys verbal “weapons” buuuuut in MMA your heart not being in the fight can get you ’pounded and ’banged which i imagine can be the next closest type of humiliation as being a guy and ACTUALLY gettting ’pounded and ’banged

I’m sick of reading all the garbage here with people judging fighters and their mental makeup. Nobody cares what some keyboard warrior thinks about how a fighter acts or what he thinks. The worst fighter in the UFC has accomplished more than all of you put together.

You’re 100% right, nickname.
Very few people talked about Forrest this way a few months back. Now people claim he’s overrated, not funny, never gives straight answers and is a con man. All, undoubtedly, because he ran away after a loss.
In the end we each have are own opinion, regardless of how fickle, retarded and irrational they are.
by rhv on Oct 30, 2009 2:49 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
im sick of people bashing this guy because he left the octagon after being completely embarrassed by the best fighter on the planet. I was never a huge Forrest supporter, but I respect the hell out of his heart and determination. He never had the skills to even compete with Rampage or Shogun for that matter and he beat them both. Now he goes and loses to the #1 p4p fighter and the #4 ranked lhw and everyone hates him. I hate badwagoners and that’s exactly what ppl are doing with forrest and machida! Give the man some respect and I’m telling you that forrest will defeat tito via ud and string together a couple of more impressive wins before receiving one more title shot.

Some guys can come back after crushing losses… it doesn’t appear though that Forrest is that guy. He could learn a thing or two from Rich Franklin.

the guy just got back from his honeymoon, he seems to be in good spirits again. i hate when forrest sounds like Eor from winnie the pooh in his interviews, “Guess ill just train cops” and stupid stuff like that. on the other hand i dont watch forret for his interviews anyways, i watch him because he almost always puts on a good fight win or lose, i mean people turn on guys all the time for losing a few fights and says hes done or washed up. the ufc has so much talent mainly at 205 its so hard not to lose a fight, wandi loses all the time and i love watching him fight, i guess im just saying WAR FORREST!!!

by Mr Niceguy on Oct 29, 2009 7:57 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
So Forrest beats Shogun and Rampage then loses to Evans and Silva. The guy goes 2-2 against the best in the world in his last 4 fights and now he isn’t worth the main event. That’s as funny as Forrest is.
by DolFan on Oct 29, 2009 11:50 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
well said, DolFan. It’s pathetic how fans turn on a guy for losing to the top guys in the world. Same goes for Randy who lost very competative fights to the 2 best HWs in the sport, one of whom was 60lbs bigger than him. Even Tito. I can’t stand Ortiz, but I don’t know why people act like he’s washed up. Who has he lost to? Liddell and Couture the two most decorated champions in his division, and Machida was was considered unbeatable till a few days ago. He had a draw with Rashad. In his whole career he’s only lost to 1 guy who wasn’t/didn’t become LHW champion and that was an avenged loss to Guy Mezgar TWELVE YEARS AGO! I don’t see why anyone would consider Tito irrellevant. Ignorant and unintelligible yes, but not irrellevant.

exactly dolfan thast guys on this site amaze me with their lack of common sense and understanding around how this sport works!!
If your fighting top guys all the time then its actually quite easy to 4 or 5 fights without a win, yet i keep hearing about fighters being past it and “he was never that good” just because they lose a fight or two???? its ridiculous!!

Forrest is a joke. if he loses 3 in a row he should be booted from the ufc. he is not a top 10 205 fighter. tuf season 2 keith and rashad kod him with ease. silva owned him before the bell went. tito round 1 destroyed him and should have stopped him. hes not funny and comes across like hes not bothered to be fighting in the ufc. if so once titos elbows bust his head open and force a ref stoppage he should consider a different career. the forrest in tuf that got me excited has left the building a long time ago fellas. as for tito hope you can back up all your talking of regaining the title cause the 205s in the top 10 are no longer tanner, sinosic and shamrock. hope the fans get a performance out of this fight.
