Looks like Fitch and Alves will rematch at 107******
by Buster Bluth on Oct 22, 2009 3:45 PM EDT up reply actions
Buster where did you read that? He said he has a big fight lined up and can’t say the opponent. I have been trying to find the answer all over, where did you find it?
by jay on Oct 22, 2009 3:55 PM EDT up reply actions
common sense with insider information i presume. that is a fight people have been wanting to see since before fitch’s gsp fight. i personally think alves is going to run right through fitch this time around. alves is a much more impressive fighter, fitch is just very gutsy and in your face.

I was wondering what the best website is to place bets or any website for that matter.
Thanks for the Help.

Jayz? Wow! Hi what’s up!!! Man I just saw you in edmonton! Thanks for coming to Canada!!!
So what you think about that hoax with Kanye dying?! Thank god that wasn’t true! Although his last album was all autotune & ur sure letting ppl have it over that.
Lol @ diddy! He tried to stop the release of his new album after u released DOA, cause he has 3 songs with autotune. But cost too much & too late! Go jigga!
What does a guy like u bet on fights? 1 million on lyoto is a good start! 1.5 on Big Ben if you want a huge payout off upset of the night!
Use Betus.com. Parlay young HOVA!
Lol that was fun ;)

Dana is hot. Looked chubby a year ago but now he´s delicious. I don´t really like him but he cracks me up all the time. Funny as hell!

i think the ufc fighters should stike for more money and proper contract, dana seems to live in another world with all the money, he is nothing without the fighters, unless he has some skills.
by kelpheadtwo on Oct 22, 2009 8:44 PM EDT up reply actions
Yeah stike, stike, stike. The only fighters that should be complaining about money are TUF alumni who have established themselves in the UFC but still have the basic contract or young prospects just getting started in prelim fights for little or no money. SF don’t pay their fighters any better, only the likes of Fedor and Shamrock get paid a lot of money, most of their fighters get less than what the UFC pays out. Affliction and Elite both overpaid their fighters and look at how that turned out. The top stars in the UFC get paid a lot of money, don’t forget that they have endorsements and sponsors as well as fight bonuses and get a percentage of the PPV sales. Take this into account before saying daft things like the fighters should “stike”.

thats what I thought too. If he was chunky he wouldn’t be wearing those medium shirts. I’m glad the blog is back, and it’s actually fun to see how “normal” a guy he really is!

it comes and goes SoCal…November should be a great month for MMA and hopefully the regs come back
by McArthur on Oct 22, 2009 3:20 PM EDT up reply actions
hey socal, been working 60 hr weeks. last few nights have only been 9 hr nights. I usually work 6 months out of the year, and chose a tough time to go back! Add to that that there is nothing going on other than chuck dancing and Kimbo hoping his teammate got hurt equals not much to post about! I’ve been reading what you guys say and have opinions though. Like if I had a “white pride” tattoo, how would you people of color (ojr, mexicutioner, Dsmith) feel? I personally am not offended by Cain’s tat, but the double standards in this world kill me! Also, he is way over hyped, he has potential, but I think Rothwell upsets him and I bet it too! I’ll be around as my OT goes away. Actually second event in a row i won’t be buying, going to Jimmy Buffet/Neil Young concert sat. night!
by kevin on Oct 22, 2009 3:27 PM EDT up reply actions
that is f**king weak jimmy buffet over the biggest lhw of the year
you sure someone close to you isnt sliping meds into your drinks
I need to follow your lead and maybe play some drop in hockey again ufc’s have sabotaged my saturday nights.
by dia mette on Oct 22, 2009 4:06 PM EDT up reply actions
lol, it’s a charity concert for a great cause. My wife and son really want to go and I’m here to make them happy. I remember going to Jimmy Buffet every summer for years when I was in my teens and twenties. I’ll watch the fights when i get home (so those of you who do text me,don’t text results!!)!!
by kevin on Oct 22, 2009 4:18 PM EDT up reply actions
comment??? wow, havnt posted in a while and still get moderated!
by kevin on Oct 22, 2009 5:00 PM EDT up reply actions
Buffett rocks!!! I’ve been to about 10 of his shows, and they are always awesome. I could do without Neil Young though. His biggest musical contribution was inspiring Lynyrd Skynyrd to write Sweet Home Alabama.
by PW on Oct 22, 2009 5:19 PM EDT up reply actions
How dare you say that about Neil! Man he may not perform like he used to but i’ve seen him 2x and he is a legend. He’s inspired me, & although I’m only 25, songs like ‘horse with no name’ & ‘harvest moon’ were/are incredible! And you never liked ‘southern man’? Geez! His list of great songs in endless. But he is now a lil bit more of a story teller and guitar twanger then in past concerts. Nonetheless he’s still rocking after a brain tumor being removed!
Also, I’m on board with big ben winning. I’ve said that since they announced it. I just strongly feel any HW that is a vet, & as large as Ben can avoid the takedown, or muscle away from it. Especially when he’s 275ish for fight time. He may have up to 40lbs on Cain. If he can’t finish a turtled Kongo, I don’t see him finishing Ben.
Look for Ben to pepper him, sprawl when Cain needs a Td, push him aside and continue his assault en route to a tko.
by Daniel worby on Oct 22, 2009 7:54 PM EDT up reply actions
This is coming from a fat guy. You have no say in this. If you say that he’s fat then, what would that make you. Me and my wife could notice it in this last UFC countdown, Dana is packing on the pounds (not talking bout muscles either). Plus I’ve seen many chubby guys with big-huge arms. Thats all that is exposed so that’s all they work on. How many of these blogs did you see Dan Henderson always grabbing Dana’s tits? Every single time Dan was on, he did that. Maybe Dana added a “No Tit Grabbing Clause” in Dan’s contract and thats why Dan didnt resign.

Does anyone else get the impression that Dana White doesn;t even lead a real life. It’s like he lives in this rich adolescent fantasy land.

The more I think about Shogun vs Machida the more I think it’s going to be one of the best fights this year….Cain and Shogun winners on Saturday
by Robert(1) on Oct 22, 2009 3:46 PM EDT reply actions
im with u on that!~ i got a lot of money on cain!~ he better not let me down..
i only put down a little on shogun, but im still pretty confident in him..
it wouldn’t suprise me if machida wins, but i would be suprised if machida dominates like peeps think he will..
i am a huge fan of both main event fighters, but rua has been my top fav fighter for some time now… i gotta root for the gun..
by stinky~fingers on Oct 22, 2009 3:56 PM EDT up reply actions
dont quite know why u laid money on cain at those odds, what did u get him at like -300? i think rothwell has more than a good chance of upsetting cain, hes a huge, well rounded, very experienced guy taking on basically a LHW with no knockout power or subs, only way cain wins is lay and pray…
by brendan on Oct 22, 2009 4:19 PM EDT up reply actions
lol~ i meant rothwell!~ i don’t know how i didn’t realize that.
lol.
by stinky~fingers on Oct 22, 2009 4:52 PM EDT up reply actions
Brendan lay and pray is not throwing punches or elbows when you have ur opponent on the ground, Cain ground and pounds fighters to death, maybe not getting the ko all the time like Tito and Randy but still attacking…
by Robert(1) on Oct 22, 2009 5:11 PM EDT up reply actions
I only accuse fighters of doing clay and gray if they rely solely on position and don’t do anything on top, whether he finishes or not Cain always looks to improve his position and do damage, unlike Huggie Bear and Gray Pride who just hold on to their opponent and don’t do anything else, at times even taking more damage on top than their opponent, hence the name clay and gray.
by David W-S on Oct 22, 2009 6:19 PM EDT up reply actions
Agreed Stink! I feel like the only person in the world who remembers how FEARED Shogun was in Pride. He terrorized that division. Hope THAT Shogun shows up Saturday, cause I’m loving the lines on Rua!
by haglnuts on Oct 22, 2009 4:27 PM EDT up reply actions
Shogun is still my fav…I thought I was dreaming when Forrest beat him….I’m hoping for a Forrest win over Tito so he can still be a contender for Shogun’s title
by Robert(1) on Oct 22, 2009 5:13 PM EDT up reply actions
Could you Imagine if a focused Shogun had a chance to avenge that loss? It would be “run Forrest, run!” all over again after 30 seconds.
by haglnuts on Oct 22, 2009 5:18 PM EDT up reply actions
I got 100 bucks on Rothwell, that gives me 400 bucks. Awesome! Rothwell will smash Cain like a fly.
by johan-lofgren on Oct 22, 2009 4:43 PM EDT up reply actions
i great odds on rothwell too.. i got a lot riding on this fight..
the bookies have underestimated rothwells value in this fight big time..
big ben is a hot~dog, for sure..

Funny blog, no wonder Serra rarely fights when he’s got a successful career as a jockey. The arcade games were funny as well though the pranks were pretty poor. Chuck is a right piss head what a state, so much for being back in shape. And I bet people who bought tickets for 104 aren’t impressed by the last 2 blogs, I would be feeling pretty ripped off if I saw a bunch of randomers getting a bunch of free tickets just for spotting Dana if I’d paid a load of money for them.
by David W-S on Oct 22, 2009 4:28 PM EDT reply actions
seriously… this event is a total flop in all honesty, my boss and I might go to the event rather than sell some of our inventory for less than half of what we paid for it, lol anyone know how the nosebleeds are at the staples center? will i be able to see wtf is going on?
by brendan on Oct 22, 2009 4:38 PM EDT up reply actions
ya no shit dave, especially when they have the nerve to ask for five and more thats crazy I mean I could understand if you ask for 2 or 3 at the most you and gorlfriend or one good friend or your mom
by dia mette on Oct 22, 2009 4:48 PM EDT up reply actions
brendan~ sitting in the nosebleeds at any mma event isn’t that bad..
sure u won’t be able to see the cage well, but the ufc has pretty decent in house production and the big screens are very visible from anywhere in the crowd..
it’s all about the atmosphere dood!~ being in the crowd during big fights is a great feeling..
by stinky~fingers on Oct 22, 2009 5:04 PM EDT up reply actions
I couldn’t believe how cheeky that guy was to ask for 5 tickets, looks like ticket sales were poor if they’re giving this many away.
Crazy that a PPV with a dream fight as a main event in 104 is struggling when a glorified Fight Night in the UK with one big name and one big fight made record sales before said name and fight were even advertised. Hopefully 105 is good because it’s my first time at a live MMA event and myself and a lot of other British fans aren’t going to be too happy if the card pans out as badly as it had looked on paper at times. At this point I’m actually looking forward to the Khan-Salita boxing card more, as I got much better seats for almost half as much money and I don’t have to travel far to go.
I’m sure Zuffa won’t be worried as they can make easy money for little expense with UK cards ticket sale wise as well as get good TV ratings, plus they have some huge cards coming up in 106, 107 and 108 and have just had 3 huge cards in 100, 101 and 102.

Does anyone notice how Dana keeps saying how sick he is (flu?) and goes hugging on Cain and Shogun. Probably gonna hit them the day of the fights. Ha Ha. I don’t think I’d be getting to close to them, for fear of maybe getting them sick.
