Mike Brown Keys to winning:
Wrasstle your azz off and stay clear the hell away from Aldo’s knees.
This might be fight of the year. Anybody who thinks Heath vs Nickels is a leading candidate better not sleep on this.
THIS is a fight.

i will never in a billion years bet against mike brown, he’s beaten urijah faber TWICE, and knocked the snot out of leonard garcia before subbing hiom, and i see it happening with aldo too, aldo is going to be a bit smaller than brown and there will be the deciding factor, brown lands the big one and puts aldo down, and finishes him with strikes from the top..
not saying brown is p4p top guy, or even the absolute best 145 out there though ranked that way and looks like he is, the man just is patient in his attack and has the 1 punch ko power, aldo somewhat does but not like brown, and we have never even seen brown really rocked and it’s going to stay that way
brown by destruction
showtime by decision
roller by gnp stoppage
garcia by ko
swanson by sub

In all fairness, I think Aldo is better then both Faber and Garcia. I think Aldo will have a tremendous speed advantage in this fight. He has some Nasty and well timed knees, so Brown will have to be wary of getting clipped on the way in for a takedown. I also think Aldo will have a nice reach advantage, but dont quote me on that.
I just think that this will be an excellent fight and Browns toughest fight to date. This is a high level match up. Brown is a class act and a work horse, but I will be rooting on aldo. He is just too entertaining to root against.
I hope Garcia Knocks Karo Jr.’s head off!

you don’t live in sacramento obviously.. all you hear is how courageous and amazing urijah was.. bleh bleh bleh get over it guys he lost that fight, and would have ANYWAY sure he looked better, but he was losing before his hand got broken and it would have went the same damn way

I completely disagree. First fight mike did win because faber wasnt careful enough. second fight would have went to faber. Nobody else could have went 4 more rounds after BOTH of his hands were broken. He could have finished mike with that choke but couldnt finish it and squeeze cause of his hands. faber vs brown 3 will be awesome

faber was beating him the whole 2 minutes before his hand got broke lol

Too right randy, all Faber fans need to stop making excuses for their man and accept that he got beat fair and square by a better fighter, I bet MTB could beat him again and then you’d still find an excuse for Faber losing and demand another rematch. Just because MTB isn’t a pretty boy doesn’t mean that he’s not an exciting, talented and well rounded fighter. He’s bigger and better than Faber, if he beats a monster like Aldo then that will prove that he is the best 145 in the world and put in the p4p mix as well.

faber lost the first because he was careless…thats his fault! in the second fight faber shattered one of his hands in the first round and broke the other in the second. thats fair and square? not imo. granted its not mtb fault either. im just saying i would like to see it again. but i have to be honest! hes not that exiting!!

you don’t think Faber get’s enough props?
He WAS the King of WEC and 145 pre Mike Brown. Some people still think he is the champ… those people also think Tim Sylvia is unbeatable but you know what I’m saying I think…
Trust me – anyone watching WEC knows who Urijah Faber is.
I have zero interest in a Brown/Faber 3 right now. Who knows after each of them have three more fights down the road but for now the division needs growth not redunduncy

Great card with an awesome main event, Brown-Aldo is a huge fight and there aren’t many I’m looking forward to more. It’s a shame that the WEC doesn’t have a TV deal in the UK, though if I was ever going to watch a live stream of a WEC card it would be this one.

This may be one of the only times I ever root for Leonard “the dealer” Garcia. Cannot stand Manvel the anvil.

For sure. It’s almost as good as smashing his cousin.
We know who he is. He is going to ask us anyway.

Bro, don’t be dissing Karo like that, Bro. Do you know who the f*ck he is Bro? Huh, Bro, do you?

I actually don’t mind Manny, he seems like a nice guy. It’s Karo who is arrogant and acts like he’s better than everyone else yet the idiot can’t be bothered to train and pulls out of fights in the last minute. I don’t find Manny’s fights entertaining but I think that he gets a raw deal because he’s the cousin of the biggest arsehole in MMA.

I agree Aldo has his moments, but a lot lesser fighters have taken him the distance. He is quick but “pound” for “pound” I think Brown will probably knock him out.
