can’t wait!~

It seems like theyre treating randy like an extra no name on the marquee, 2 words in the whole trailer. I guess hes not really a big name actor but I wouldve liked to see a little more of him.

by baby_eddie on Oct 13, 2009 11:57 PM EDT reply actions

dont worry he will be starring in ufc 105 as he smashes vera in november

by dia mette on Oct 14, 2009 12:16 AM EDT up reply actions

They probably kill him off in the opening scene. The movie is called “The EXPENDABLES”. Still, even a cameo in a movie with this many stars qualifies as the biggest thing Randy’s ever done. It’s like Stallone is in a contest to see how many action stars he could get in one move. Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Mikey Rourke, Eric Roberts…even his old nemesis Ivan Drago is there. (oops, I meant Dolph Lundgren).

by Ronin on a River on Oct 14, 2009 12:32 AM EDT up reply actions

I know…I couldn’t believe when I saw Drago…They even have good old Stone Cold. This movie will probably be terrible, but I have to see it anyway…And that’s the bottom line because…ah nevermind.

by Shadyone33 on Oct 14, 2009 3:51 AM EDT up reply actions

Lmao the only scene where you really see Randy is when he does this dumb surprised look. I almost shat myself when I saw him do that

by Cogito Ergo Sum on Oct 14, 2009 7:24 AM EDT up reply actions

It’s not the official trailer and randy will be in it alot more than youd think, well thats what i read somewhere some guy read the final script and did a blog on it

by sms014 on Oct 14, 2009 11:24 AM EDT up reply actions

I never saw Nogueira . . sucks

by erik Negrete on Oct 14, 2009 12:23 AM EDT reply actions

stallone is by far the best the guy has made/starred in so many classics.

they need to give stallone a lifetime achievment award if they havnt already done so
it always seems like thier giving awards to guys like pacino and deniro who dont deserve shit the only thing they portray is drug dealers and mobsters none of thier movies teach teenagers anything good im not trying to imply that movies should teach kids but when you see crap like godfather scarface good fella dont try to tell me kids are not influenced a little by that crap

then you have champions in holly wood like stallone with time less pieces like rocky that shows the underdongs can prevail with perserverance stallone always plays the good guy one of my top three favorites is Lock up if you havnt seen it you need to watch it

I can write another 1000 words to reinforce how great stallone is but I have to go watch rambo first blood for about the 400th time

by dia mette on Oct 14, 2009 12:33 AM EDT reply actions

haha WAR STALLONE!!! First Blood is a bad@ss movie!

by Chadx23 on Oct 14, 2009 1:30 AM EDT up reply actions

This first one is the best. I love when he ambushes the sheriff in the woods and holds the knife to his throat, “I’ll give you a war you won’t believe, let it go.”

by Parks1 on Oct 14, 2009 3:34 AM EDT up reply actions

Every Rambo has an epic line…

Rambo I – I’ll give you a war you won’t believe…
Rambo II – Murdock…I’m coming to get you…
Rambo III – I’m your worst nightmare…
Rambo IV – When you’re pushed, killing is as easy as breathing…

I swear he has a notebook where he jots down these epic one liners, and the book is probably called…epic one liners.

by Shadyone33 on Oct 14, 2009 3:54 AM EDT up reply actions

agreed, i watch Stallone becuase he is just a fun actor, most of his movies i can see a thousand times while throwing out all logic except Rocky 1-2…same goes for Clint and Arnold

by Robert(1) on Oct 14, 2009 8:37 AM EDT up reply actions

I’ve watched Rocky IV for like 70 times, and I never get tired of it.

That’s all well and good Dave A, but I’ve got 6 words for you “Stop, Or My Mom Will Shoot”.

I rest my case.

Seriously though, this film will probably be awful, but I’ll no doubt see it anyway.

by Chris on Oct 14, 2009 8:34 AM EDT up reply actions

Agree, Deniro and Pacino are on a different level in terms of acting

by Robert(1) on Oct 14, 2009 8:38 AM EDT up reply actions

Everyone knows who Rocky and Rambo are. Maybe a lot of people know who Tony Montana is but not everyone. More will probably know if you say Scarface. Pacino is most remembered for one line of that movie. WTF timeless charachter has Deniro implanted in the American subconsious? I guess pick one, he’s the same character in every movie. But he did Meet the Parents, I forgot. What range! Don’t give me Vito. So he plays a good mobster. Who doesn’t?

Stallone also wrote Rocky. It won three academy awards. He was good in Cop Land. And although most of his movies are thin on plot with lots of action, they are still good. Not every movie has to be though provoking and emotionally stirring. Sometimes we just want to be entertained.

In summary I like Deniro and Pacino but think they are way overrated; also, I like Stallone and think he is way underrated.

by wAyNe on Oct 14, 2009 9:51 AM EDT up reply actions

Taxi Driver was huge, De Niro’s role Travis Bickle is iconic and his “you talking to me” speech is going to be remembered for years. Stallone was good as Rocky and Rambo but that’s pretty much it and neither role proved that he’s a world-class actor, he’s got nothing on Pacino and De Niro.

by David W-S on Oct 14, 2009 10:12 AM EDT up reply actions

Pacino: “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.”

by Syd on Oct 15, 2009 12:17 AM EDT up reply actions

You know nothing about movies if you think anything Stallone has ever done can hold a candle to Scarface or The Godfather. You are WWF’s target audience.

by captdoug on Oct 14, 2009 6:21 AM EDT up reply actions

What does the World Wildlife Fund have to do with this?

And Dave…you left Heat off your list. For shame.

by MongoMan on Oct 14, 2009 7:18 AM EDT up reply actions

zing

by the still operator on Oct 14, 2009 9:04 AM EDT up reply actions

in heat pacino and deniro fed off of one another. they helped make each other better in that movie, same as a righteous kill. and there was way more than just 1 actor that made the godfather iconic. stallone’s movies are he and he alone. he never needed another A-list actor to sell his movies. this movie expendables could be the best action flick of the year. hell they got pretty much the Delta Force of action actors in this movie, i just wish stone cold and dolph were on the same side as li, statham, and sly!!! no that’s an Alpha team there, lol! i cant wait!!!

by deuce 4 on Oct 14, 2009 11:32 AM EDT up reply actions

I was trying to list movies that weren’t drama cops n robbers roles….zing’’.

by DAVE A on Oct 14, 2009 2:44 PM EDT up reply actions

Sorry, didn’t realize that with Serpico at the top of the list…zing.

by MongoMan on Oct 14, 2009 10:52 PM EDT up reply actions

Kids shouldn’t watch films about gangsters anyway so don’t bother with the influencing kids speech. Fact is Pacino and De Niro are legends, Stallone is good but made too many poor sequels to his original classics for my liking, the Rambo sequels in particular are pathetic and go against the whole point of the original film and the novel.

by David W-S on Oct 14, 2009 8:40 AM EDT up reply actions

Please, use a damn comma and period next time!

by Kirk on Oct 14, 2009 9:30 AM EDT up reply actions

Always liked Stallone… like Arnold better, but this movie looks like it will have tons of action but no story! lol

by Oswald Gobblecock on Oct 14, 2009 12:50 AM EDT reply actions

Yep, lots of action and the story won’t make sense but who cares.

by Nick on Oct 14, 2009 1:37 AM EDT up reply actions

So Dana White complains when Rampage is a star of a blockbuster film but when Randy is abit part actor in films for the last 2 years he didnt have a bad word against him!!! double standards

by JACKO on Oct 14, 2009 5:10 AM EDT reply actions

Not double standards at all. Randy is still fighting Vera, Rampage got a starring role, and backed out of his fight against Rashad.

What a summer action movie should be. I like it!

by wAyNe on Oct 14, 2009 9:39 AM EDT up reply actions

Sometimes that’s just what you want from an action film. I can’t wait.

by Gentleman on Oct 14, 2009 10:12 AM EDT up reply actions

I really liked the hand to hand grappling fight scene. I hope there are many more throughout the movie a la the Jason Bourne trilogies. What’s up with Arnold, is he still in it or no?
Someone told me that he can’t be in movies as the acting governor of a state, but maybe he can donate his salary to the state.

by Amir on Oct 14, 2009 9:43 AM EDT reply actions

F#ck the dialogue! And the plot! With all the sh!t they were blowing up, I can’t wait to see it! This is a MAN movie from hell! Oh, and by the way, I think they are gonna cast Dana White as the next DR. Evil in the upcoming flick “MMA’s evil plot to take over the wide wide world of sports.” Anyone have a suggestion of who could play his “minnie me?”
