Chuck Liddell voted off 'Dancing with the Stars' 2009 after just four episodes

Former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell tonight met his match on the dance floor, getting voted off "Dancing with the Stars" after just four episodes on the ABC network.
"Iceman" and his professional dance partner, Anna Trebunskaya, got knocked out of the 16-person "celebrity" dance tournament after turning in a lackluster "two-step" on Monday night. This evening the judges delivered the bad news after it came down to the UFC Hall of Famer and singer Aaron Carter.
He was visibly upset with the result, but shook off defeat in typical -- and concise -- Liddell fashion.
His post-dance speech:
"I had fun. We had a good time. We made a run at it, but it's difficult. It's hard to do."
What's his next step? It's unclear at this time.
However, his popularity among soccer moms and geriatrics is more than likely at an all-time high. Whether or not the promotion intends to capitalize on this new-found demographic with a return to the Octagon in the near future remains to be seen.
Let's just hope he stays off the reality television circuit ... unless it includes another run as coach on "The Ultimate Fighter" opposite another familiar legend of the sport, Randy Couture.
Either way, job well done.

I watched the show for the first time this week and it was great. I laughed (with him, not at him) the whole time because it was so much fun watching him dance. I give him a lot of credit for doing it for his daughter.

Does this mean that this is the last Dancing with the Stars thread we’ll have to see on this site?

Who knows, it may give him a whole new perspective on things! Besides, I know he would love to get another crack at Tito!

if someone had told me the day before his rematch with rampage that the very next day he would go from being the biggest mma fighter in the world to completely falling from grace on a huge losing streak and end up as a dancer on a reality show i would have kicked them in the balls….
i dont know whats more embarrasing, chuck going from ufc champ to being a dancer on a reality show or tim sylvia going from ufc champ to being ko’d in 9 seconds by ray mercer….

Oh well so much for Chuck getting further than Calzaghe, looks like Chuck has a long way to go before being a big draw among the DWTS demographic.

I’m actually surprised that Chuck lasted as long as he did considering he’s as stiff as a board on the dance floor.
