They really keep trying to push that Kimbo is gonna make a comeback cant blame them though kimbo is a ratings monster

by Nor Cal Mexican on Oct 12, 2009 11:51 PM EDT reply actions

this season being so hyped up these fights have sucked so bad…there are a lot of hws in this country…i have no idea the screening process that took place to choose these competitors…these first fights have been atrocious..

what we’ve learned so far:

rashad has class, great coach, good moral in his camp

rampage yells “get up, do something” and storms out…terrible coach…his team has terrible moral…

this cast was chosen to build around kimbo…

this is the worst cast of fighters to ever be assembled for a season of TUF…

i cant imagine any of these guys ever beating the worst guy on the current ufc roster…maybe roy nelson and wes sims…but other than that…these guys are terrible…

dana says “wait till week 8, people will be satisfied”…shit wasnt this entire season filmed in june? 8 weeks equals 16 fighters, by then we will have seen everyone…so far this season isnt living up to the hype

I agree. So far none of these guys have impressed me. There might be some good ones in there that have won already but looked bad due to poor competition and trying to fight safe. I do not expect the winner to be ready to fight any of the top tier, but I would like for them to have the potential and I just do not see it. The few really big guys they have are so slow they do not have the potential to hang with Lesnar, Carwin, Dos Santos, etc. The smaller good ones should really think about losing the beer guts and going to 205. Nelson might be someone there but he is going to get toasted in the UFC HW class. Kimbo?! first of all he turns 36 this coming February. Top that with absolutely no ground game at all and he is truly in the wrong sport. He should have gone into boxing like his manager wanted because he is just not good to be an MMA fighter.

by ASR on Oct 13, 2009 8:27 AM EDT up reply actions

he’d get tooled in boxing too.

by frosnt1 on Oct 13, 2009 10:09 AM EDT up reply actions

Can’t disagree with anything you said. Kimbo wants to fight again, did he pick up a ground gamed in a week?

i don’t care about this season anymore, i remeber being so hyped and excited for it b4 it came out, and now seems so lame, every thursday all im thinking about is how i did’nt much last night, i shud b thinking about the fights……

Its been a while since my last post, but i feel the need to chime in and say that Rampage is a b*tch!

Fock this season and the horse it rode in on…

by OJR on Oct 13, 2009 8:04 AM EDT up reply actions

True, but if all of this hype turns out to be a dud, I’m calling false advertisement and will think even less of Dana.

Something tells me that “shock result” wont that much of a shock..

by lavis on Oct 13, 2009 12:27 AM EDT reply actions

guaranteed… Wes Sims gets ko’d next episode. That was his skinny leg popping up beside rashad! seriously. check it out

by jayy on Oct 13, 2009 12:41 AM EDT reply actions

why would Rashad be kneeling down by Rampage’s fighter? I mean, whats the odds that Page leaves his fighter’s dead corpse lying on the canvas after defeat again?

by Synyster on Oct 13, 2009 9:06 AM EDT up reply actions

Kimbo is the worst fighter in the UFC currently.

Top 5 LHW of ALL TIME
1. Wanderlei Siva
2. Chuck Lidell
3. Rampage Jackson
4. Tito Ortiz
5. Randy Coutoure

by zack on Oct 13, 2009 12:47 AM EDT reply actions

rampage??
um im sure theres more deserving fighters then that guy..

by guyverbob on Oct 13, 2009 1:05 AM EDT up reply actions

deserving?? sure he is, but nothing is about deserving anything in sports.
Rampage ranks higher than Wanderlei in my book, he’s better at his best then Wanderlei was at his best.¨

but those 5 guys are all legends!

by RoBerto on Oct 13, 2009 2:21 AM EDT up reply actions

Where is Henderson? That list means nothing without Hendo

by Cogito Ergo Sum on Oct 13, 2009 8:03 AM EDT up reply actions

Roberto, Wandy beat Rampage 2 out of 3 and had one of the longest winning streaks in the history of the sport at the elite level

by ---Caesar--- on Oct 13, 2009 10:59 AM EDT up reply actions

LOL, Hendo isn’t one of the greatest LHW’s. He’s been a MW for almost his whole career.

by RoB on Oct 13, 2009 11:05 AM EDT up reply actions

I know that Caesar but Rampage beat Chuck convincingly twice, and as i said is better at his best than Wand was at his best. you can’t measure how good someone is by looking at their winning streaks, Wand fought 80% cans in Pride and i won’t ever call someone the best MMA fighter ever that’s been in Japan dominating for his whole career, if they tested i would.

by RoB on Oct 13, 2009 11:09 AM EDT up reply actions

Lyoto, Anderson and Shogun will replace tito, rampage and Randy.

by Don "The Prophet" King on Oct 13, 2009 2:19 AM EDT up reply actions

Random and pointless list. What do you mean, by accomplishments or by ability? B.c if you’re going by ability don’t you think Machida and AS would smoke any1 on this list?

by frosnt1 on Oct 13, 2009 10:10 AM EDT up reply actions

ur nuts just because he quit at a young age doesnt mean he wasnt one of the greats Check his resume… if he had started in UFC instead of Pride he would have been Champion for a long time during the Chuck Lidell ERA. There probably wouldnt have been a Chuck Lidell era

by zack on Oct 13, 2009 1:16 AM EDT reply actions

um im not crazy, the guys style sucks and is predictable, hes been so one dimentional, hes not one of the greats in the sport..

by guyverbob on Oct 13, 2009 1:29 AM EDT up reply actions

but ur entitled to ur own opinion so im not gonna tell u ur wrong or anyhting because thats not how i shud act, i respect ur thoughts..

by guyverbob on Oct 13, 2009 2:00 AM EDT up reply actions

you must be 12 guyver?

by RoBerto on Oct 13, 2009 2:30 AM EDT up reply actions

hey guyver what abour chucks style? wandys? tito? all the greatest of all time had basic styles but they were so good at it, it didnt matter. just shut up with your stupid comments and accept rampage is definately one of the best of all time

by Jared on Oct 13, 2009 7:27 AM EDT up reply actions

I actually think if Wanderlei fought Chuck when Chuck was in his ERA, Wanderlei would have gotten knocked out because thats when Chuck still had a darn good chin and was younger and faster. I always thought Chuck would have beaten Wanderlei if they had both fought in their primes.

by Chadx23 on Oct 13, 2009 2:26 PM EDT up reply actions

That’s a fair list until Machida knocks 1 of em off with a few more wins

by DAVE A on Oct 13, 2009 1:25 AM EDT reply actions

LAME! Like this season!

by bryce on Oct 13, 2009 1:43 AM EDT reply actions

rampage is one the best. how can you say his style is predictable armchair warrior? his oponents have a hard time figuring it out.

by Conan the Barbarian on Oct 13, 2009 2:18 AM EDT reply actions

yah did u see lidel get his ass stompd out by page in pride liddel couldnt do shit plus bet rampage would give anderson a hard time page could take his shot but i bet silva would still win and bet page would beet rua now
