Very Nice card!! should be a great night of fights – does anyone know who Alistair is fighting yet?

by Big Bill on Oct 12, 2009 1:36 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Anyone else hearing UFC 111 or 112 in February to be held in Sydney, Australia?

by ---Caesar--- on Oct 12, 2009 9:46 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Dream really has the best posters for fighting this side of the galaxy!
Alistair looks BIG!
Ninja may lose again, and where’s the aggression on Nakahara’s face?

by The Negation on Oct 12, 2009 1:43 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

He is HUGE!!

by belfort_fan on Oct 12, 2009 1:41 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

by nelson on Oct 12, 2009 1:43 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

as always epic poster! dreams probably my favorite mma promotion. the ufc delivers everytime and has all the best fighters in the world but they lack the uniqueness that dream has.

They should change the name to “Roids Optional 12”

Alistair Overeem is on steroids in Japen.

by Nini on Oct 12, 2009 1:58 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Shut up. With no proof you just make yourself sound stupid.

by Ian McCabe on Oct 12, 2009 2:06 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

by Nor Cal Mexican on Oct 12, 2009 2:14 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

by Amos on Oct 12, 2009 3:32 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Have you measured his head???

by Ian McCabe on Oct 12, 2009 4:03 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

you can clearly see that by watching his fights from before and now

by Nor Cal Mexican on Oct 12, 2009 4:16 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Ian you sound stupid. watch his fight from 2007 vs Kharitonov and tell me he hasn’t used steroids.

by RoBerto on Oct 12, 2009 7:06 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

his whole bone structure has changed and he’s what? almost 30 now, not exactly the age to peak physically.

by RoBerto on Oct 12, 2009 7:15 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Your head grows from HGH not steroids. Normally you wouldn’t use HGH with out steroids, but steroids alone doesn’t change bone structure. By the looks of it he is on both!

by BOW on Oct 12, 2009 9:07 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Roberto, steroids don’t change your bone structure!

by ---Caesar--- on Oct 12, 2009 9:48 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I know that, Caesar. but he’s free to use whatever he wants to.

by RoBerto on Oct 12, 2009 11:26 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

they test for roids in k-1!!!! EXPLAIN THAT!

by john G on Oct 12, 2009 12:58 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Damn… its sad when a fighter cant even gain muscle mass without beint bashed for steriod abuse!!!! grow up. I always knew he had potential to be huge. look at his fights at 205 he was long and lanky but had big muscles.

by belfort_fan on Oct 12, 2009 1:44 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

aaw c’mon! gain muscle mass? well, gaining a sh!t ton of muscle mass while pushing into his thirties is a little strange. fact is that the older you get the more time your body needs to recover and that is the reason why you can’t gain that amount of muscle mass in such short period of time.

John, they don’t test at all K-1 events.

by RoBerto on Oct 12, 2009 4:18 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I did the research the other day…As soon as a get a second, I will hunt the article down for you and paste it

by john G on Oct 12, 2009 5:20 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

how can he deny it? he randomly bulks up an extra 50lbs of shredded muscle, and won’t fight in america for the last year or so but will fight in japan? wait thats right he doesn’t get tested there..

strikeforce could have signed overeem vs fedor nov 7th but he wants to take the easiest road he can to fighting cans and using roids.. he wont even sign with the ufc because he CAN’T get over it ian nini is right in saying the roids comment.. say what you want about brock supposedly being on roids at least the man takes his tests and fights here and fights the top guys

by randy murders on Oct 12, 2009 2:17 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

He bulked up an extra 30 pounds first of all. And People always forget to mention that it took him a three year period to do so. He won’t fight in america because FEG pays him way more and he didn’t have a contract with strikeforce when he won the 4 man GP and the title. He’s fighting a can on the anniversary card of his gym but we knew about that starting back in january. Aside from that a Grand Prix (where the money and prestige is a lot bigger than any MMA bout) kind of takes up the rest of his time. NEXT!!!

by NameNotRequired on Oct 12, 2009 9:23 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I did the research…He gets tested everytime he fights in K-1…so you guys sound really stupid!

by john G on Oct 12, 2009 12:59 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

So what did it turn out to be john. I knew they tested but just not the details. I was finally just about to go on K-1 forums to ask guys there because the accusations are getting more ridiculous as time goes by. Now m-f’ers are comin up with new made up science to claim bullsh!t. People don’t look at numbers or actual real things except for pictures made by other wacked out fans.

by NameNotRequired on Oct 12, 2009 2:04 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

They always test! Tomorrow I can go back and hunt the article down and I will post it for you buddy.

Its getting ridiculous. These are PRO FIGHTERS who train all day long, with strength n conditioning coaches, and nutritionists. Its impossible to gain 50 lbs in 3 years? Give me a break! I could personally gain 50 lbs of muscle in a year and a half, and I am not 1/10th as trained and dedicated as a Pro fighter.

Accusations need to stop until someone tests positive by an athletic commission not named the CSAC!

by john G on Oct 12, 2009 5:24 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

He is not on steroids anywhere else? Like in Japan? I have never even heard of “Japen.” Fail?

by RyanHobbs on Oct 12, 2009 4:51 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Alistair Overeem is on steroids.

You’re moms on steroids.

by Fight Club on Oct 12, 2009 6:10 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I have to agree Nini’s mom is on steriods.

by Khaos_Warrior on Oct 12, 2009 4:21 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I really cannot see how any other conclusion could be reached.

by RyanHobbs on Oct 12, 2009 4:41 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

even though you posted the same thing twice (bush league) i think the majority of people have to agree with that statement.
Not because we have proof or whatever, but rather because he hasn’t defended the Strikeforce belt (claiming injury) while still competing in these other organizations (looking wayyyy bigger than when he fights in the states). And I knowww any type of MMA “math” is unreasonable but common now. Overeem hasn’t defended his belt in how long? Yet he fights for other organizations while looking hugeee, and of course the steroid policy over there is a joke, so we can assume (i know, it makes an "ass’ out of “you” and “me” but whatever lol) that he is cycling like Lance Armstrong.
the odd thing is he can “totalllyyyy redeem himself” by fighting with strikeforce, or the UFC> (i honestly hope so) he has maddd talent, but the steroid situation is hard to get past…..

by Blunt N' Beer on Oct 12, 2009 2:33 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Yeah I have to agree with some of the guys on here … Overeem has definitely juiced up – and would be a sound reason as to why he is not fighting in the states, defending his belt. Im sorry for his fans (me included) but it seems like the only logical reason.

by DownUnder on Oct 12, 2009 3:39 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

People still juice and fight in the states. Il give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he isin’t on the juice untill he actually fails a test

by Ermac on Oct 12, 2009 5:01 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Name one major organisation that does not test in the states – UFC and Strikeforce both test … he would be targeted immediately – its sad but true!

by DownUnder on Oct 12, 2009 7:28 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

there are ways to get around tests is what he’s saying.

by RoBerto on Oct 12, 2009 8:07 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

With the whole ‘roid thing – what I don’t understand is that there’s nothing to stop you juicing in the past then coming in clean to fight! Ok you may not benefit from ‘roids as much if you’ve been clean for a long time but how about HGH? If you were raised on HGH you will keep that skeletal & muscle bulk regardless, (a gorilla that doesn’t work out is still a gorilla at the end of the day – if you get that analagy!).

I’m sure Lesnar and many other large athletes have been on HGH from a pretty young age to help them get so huge – Carwin, for example, is a pretty “normal” sized 6’1" guy without the muscle – whereas Lesnar’s frame, hands, skull etc are so much larger than pretty much anyone else of his height… I know many people in everyday life, all of whom have normal sized skeletons and features – many heavyweight athletes have oversized features which don’t seem to be natural in comparison.

by Jimrod on Oct 12, 2009 8:49 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

fuck yeah i sooooooo miss pride….and please stop talkin about roids…since there was competitive sports there has been people juicin on somehting..its just more out in th eopen now ..so put ur chin down and hands up and shut the f*?! up ….

by Muay thai Machine on Oct 12, 2009 9:52 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

If you rip on Overeem, but support Lesnar you’re just a hypocrite.
Lesnar is a poster child for HGH/steroids.
