Kendall Grove vs. Jake Rosholt (185-pound limit)

Grove turns and now has Rosholt pressed up against the fence, securing a takedown of his own in the process. Now Grove works the ground and pound, which Rosholt is able defend nicely. He gets to his feet, lands a nice punch, which he follows with a flying knee. Rosholt once again scores a takedown and lands in side mount. He quickly transitions to full mount. Lesnar Monster gonna smash Crybaby Carwin. WAR GRIFFIN!!

by The Dude on Oct 10, 2009 11:38 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Although i do think that Lesnar will win by sleeping on carwin the whole time tryin to land short hamerfists… you are all forgetting one thing, Carwin has KO Power and can take a shot. Lesnar just has Ko Power and HATES to be hit just look at the fight with him and randy and against Mir, im not sayin anyone likes to be hit but Carwin can take a punch and keep coming forward way more than lesnar- and Carwin is tryin with Greg Jackson- So u know he has the help of Rashad, GSP, Keith, to help him prepar for his fight and Jackson is gonna have a game plan it won’t be to stand and trade.

After what brock did to Mirs face the first and especially the second time they fought when they went to the ground…if thats what u call sleeping…than i dont think anyone would wanna get slept on with brocks big behind on top of u unless u wana look like fozzy moto.

by The Legacy on Oct 10, 2009 2:07 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Carwin can’t take that much of a shot.
He was rocked by Wain and Napao.
But still, Carwin for the Carnage!!!

I would say Brocks chin remains untested. Neither Randy nor Mir has KO power and Herring never got the chance to test it. No way to tell yet what will happen when Lesnar really gets hit, but given that his traps come to his ears, I’d say his brain box is pretty well supported.

Jon Fitch needs a nick name… I’m thinking sort of like Mike “Quick” Swick his could be Jon “Deeeeeecision” Fitch! Sorry just think he’s one of the lamest fighters to watch although he is good. Boring S.O.B. War Almeida!

by The Dude on Oct 10, 2009 11:44 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Fitch is boring to watch becuz hed rather “grind out a win” by taking his opponent down laying on top of him and landing small shots to make him “look” like hes actually fighting.Hes not the same guy who fought Alves Burkman now if u ask me.If he cant pass ur gaurd he wants to lay and pray into a decision. No gut instinct,no risk taking to finish the fight.Hes not a fighter, hes a grappler now.

HOw about Jon “Bathroom Break” Fitch? Thats what I’ll be doing when he fights Almeida… good card overall though

John “go get a beer out of the” Fitch.

I’ll provide live coverage of Lesnar vs. Carwin right now! First Round: Carwin comes out swinging for the fences! Lesnar lands a glancing over-hand right that nearly decapitates Carwin! The look on Carwin’s face is total FEAR as he realizes he’s in the cage with the real deal this time! Lesnar lands anothe right and carwin lands twelve feet away! Lesnar’s all over him and ground n’ pounds him into dogmeat! Lesnar wins by destruction and Dana sell what’s left of Carwin to Alpo!

by Dana's a CrossDresser on Oct 10, 2009 12:13 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Right… You can come back to reality now. Or do you like it in Brock’s Nuts Fantasy land?

by Brock's A Queef on Oct 10, 2009 1:11 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Maybe an eye ball and green thumb for “for good try,i thinks its time for me to gather myself together and go home now,i wish i could tell Brock how great of a fighter i thinks hes becoming but he ripped ma lower jaw completely off for talking so much asinine bull sht in the interviews”.

Brock Lesnar is just a hillbilly thug with perputual Roid Rage. Hopefully Carwin will use some nice striking and solid takedown defense and end the reign of Brock Lesnar.

by James on Oct 11, 2009 5:01 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Actually, not a BIG fan of either! I’m more a fan of the guys that’s been around for a while! My prediction is based on what I’ve seen of the two. Not that Carwin’s a slouch! He’s a monster! He’s just not gonna beat Brock this time!

by Dana's a CrossDresser on Oct 11, 2009 10:46 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Spot on Dana…I think Carwin is going to get manhandled. Everyone forgets as skilled as a wrestler CArwin might have been it was division II. BRock was a Div I champ. Not only was a Div. I Champ he was a Div. I beast. In 4 years of Wrestling 2 Div. I and 2 Div II he only had 5 loses in a 110 matches. That is ridiculous. He is faster and more explosive. I think Carwins recovered very well after Gonzaga had him beat, so it is possible he may get him there, when Brock goes in for the kill…Anyway That is just my 2 cents feel free to give me change. BRock by monsterous ground and pound…

UFC.com has four fights listed as main card. They always have five. Little Nog should be in the last slot no problem.

BROCK is going to get knocked out! I wonder if he will be talking about going home and riding his wife or maybe he can flip the fans off when he is sitting on his ass and wondering what brick just hit him! Time for some Humble Pie Mr Brock the Cock!

I think it should be a rule that if any fighter ever says “Do you know who I am?” they should have to fight Lesnar no matter what weight class they are in.

you would think barney carwin would have learned to keep his bitch ass mouth shut after what brock did to mir and herring for opening theres!!! BROCK BY MURDER

by joe daddy on Oct 10, 2009 5:21 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I hope Dana has some tissues to wipe away Carwin’s tears after Brock sends him back to reality, beating Neil Wain and Gonzaga shouldnt earn you a title shot but whats worse is mouthing off about a guy who beats Herring, Randy and Mir while he is new to the sport. Hopefully Brock reconstructs his face ala Herring and Mir after they mouthed off.

by The_Devil_You_Know on Oct 10, 2009 9:39 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Another Brock fan living vicariously through their hero. I’m really starting to hope Carwin KOs this guy it’ll be so sweet to see the tears of dissapointment and shattered dreams from PW and all his fans who are just so fascinated by his physical form.

by frosnt1 on Oct 10, 2009 11:46 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

LOL frostnt1 “just so fascinated by his physical form.” All his fans ever talk about is his “size” and “strength”. They all sound like a bunch of schoolgirls crushing on the Varsity QB.

by Machine on Oct 11, 2009 6:37 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Another keyboard warrior these are the same tools who said Lesnar would lose to Herring’s experience, that Randy would be too much for newb Brock (then cried saying randy is too old after he lost) and that there newest Hero Frank “My face needed reconstruction after getting crushed after I ran my mouth and didnt back it up” Mir was going to submit him again.

These “real” MMA fans as they call themselves are always wrong I believe they were also the tools who said Chuck was going to decapitate Shogun and when he lost it was too old and washed up and that Houston Alexander was the second coming…..I hope they dont put there money where there mouth is.

by Hamburglar on Oct 11, 2009 1:27 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

“Real” MMA fans. Careful you will make all the posers mad. OK buk seriously this brings good point. Let me give you an example, and if you know people like this you will love this one. I’m out last week with couple of my army buddies, served 1990-1992 (yes I’m old..anyway), somebody brings up mma. My eyes light up, oh ya, I’ve been watching mma since UFC1. I was into Pride. I don’t care where they fight USA, Japan, it’s all good. And then Adam starts talking about how he is a HARDCORE FAN. “GSP sucks. I watch that stuff out of Japan and those guys would kill him. Yea That’s right I’m a HARDCORE fan. I’ll tell you another thing, Fedor is the best pound for pound fighter in the world. Dream guys aren’t afraid of the UFC, the UFC is afraid of Dream.”….it goes on and on the rest would make you vomit. Point being..these HARDCORE FANS love to brag knowing fighters “the common folk” cann’t understand. These are the same people who tell you their favorite musical group is “somebody you never heard of” because they think it makes them sound cool. blah blah blah , love mma – hate the HARDCORE FANS. Holy $h*t that was long winded, I may send myself a hate reply on this one. If this didn’t make you smile or remind you of someone you know then you are way too serious.

by DolFan on Oct 11, 2009 2:41 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

You make valid points on everything except for Herring. Dont forget that the very 1st punch of the fight broke Heaths orbital bone which forced him to fight 3 rounds with just one eye. Think about it…it took Brock 3 FULL rounds to earn a decision win over a one-eyed fighter who also had an injury in need of immediate medical attention…not impressive or a legitimate testament to Brocks skills at all.

Brock has 1 win I’m willing to acknowledge and that’s over Mir. His win over Randy is about as impressive as a 205er beating a Welter-Weight. Same can be said for his debut fight against that Kim (cant remember full name) guy that took place in that outside arena (watched it online).

I’m looking forward to seeing Brock turtle-up when Carwin lands those 1st couple of bombs. Oh and lets not forget that we may see Brock get taken down. We’ve never seen him on his back but we have seen how brutally destructive Carwin is when he holds top position. Those Brock fans that are simply riding the hype bandwagon are in for a rude awakening.

I noticed that too. I felt for a minute I was accidently entered the wrong thread. This card took so many hits it’s scary. Still has good potential for entertainment value though.

Couture spanked him and Liddell cranked him
And for that I’d like to thank them
Now that Jenna skanked him, here’s hoping Forrest ganks him
Otherwise the sites will rank him

If Ortiz blows past Griffin – then I think that Griffin’s career is essentially over. I’d like to see Sadollah have a good night.

by Muscle-Dolphin on Nov 21, 2009 7:33 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Yep 30 years old and his career is over lol

First off ortiz isnt gonna blow past griffin! And even if tito did beat forrest why would he retire? LoL Just forget the fact he beat shogun and rampage in back to back fights before losing 2 rashad and anderson. He is a professional fighter! He may not be the best in the world but he’s a fighter thats whats he does.. I dont understand you “fans” who are always jumping the bandwagon or calling for someone to retire when they lose a few.

tito is lame..

all ortiz does is make excuses, i think the only way he can win is by take downs and lay ’n prey, which sucks how you can out strike sumone a whole round and get taken down once and that means you lose..

by HellaHectic on Nov 22, 2009 12:06 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

True

But Kos is smoking if he thinks he is the number one contender. he just dogged on Swick, his teammate, by saying hardy has beat nobody. When was the last time Kos beat a top 5 WW?

@fjbar75 on twitter...formerly El Mexicutioner

by _Felix_ on Nov 22, 2009 12:07 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

If Kos uses his wrestling then yes!

But if he chooses to stand with Hardy, then hell get caught sooner or later.

well then who else would u consider the number 1 contender…gsp has already beaten them all….alves, fitch, kos, hes beaten them all…

koscheck is 12-4 in the ufc..

12 wins in the ufc…that is crazy…there are only a handful of fighters in ufc history that can say they have 12 wins in the ufc….and hes the only fighter with 12 wins who has never had title shot..

dang, its good forest won, he’s a nice guy, but figured tito would get a bunch of takedowns and steal it. o well, got all the other fights right. Tito sux, while Forest isn’t a pushover, he’s not a finisher and not exactly great… so where does that leave Tito?

Every post fight interview is the same:
I actually hurt myself, but I gave it my all for the fans. Ya, the same people I BS’d to hype this fight to get my check. I’ll come back 100% next time and kick his ass… blah blah blah.
