Hendo has 10 fights left! Great Bisping will get his revenge then. Hendo should come to the UK for a rematch after Bisping wins Kang and he loses to Marquardt.
by Tony on Oct 8, 2009 8:09 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Dan would murder Bisping again if they had a rematch and chances are most of the crowd would cheer on Hendo. It’s debatable whether Bisping will even get past Kang, nevermind rematch the guy who crushed him at 100.
Nate has a good chance against Dan though, he has the better cardio and is more well rounded than Hendo, though Dan is the better wrestler and has greater KO power in his hands.

Nate has better cardio then hendo lol when has nate been in a 5 round war, you have no evidence of that. Hendo would make nate quit in the fight and win a dominating decision.

And tony bisping could fight hendo 100 times and not win, Hendo was dominating start to finish and what a finish indeed.

Hendo’s gassed in most of his fights in the UFC, his cardio let him down against Andy and Rampage and almost cost him the Franklin fight as well. Nate on the other hand has lasted the pace in all of his fights and looks a much fresher fighter than Hendo, plus if they fight it will be for 3 rounds so it’s irrelevant how many 5 rounders Nate’s been in, he has paced himself perfectly in 3 round fights and done a better job in this aspect than Hendo in the UFC.

I havent watched this episode yet. Did Hendo sign a 10 fight contract extension with the UFC?
mr. Guru: In fairness, YES Hendo has been in 5 round fights but he has a history of coming into fights under-trained. Off the top of my head, his fight in Pride against Yuki Kondo comes to mind..Hendo has PATHETIC Cardio for that fight. In my eyes, Hendo is a LEGEND in mma that has accomplished so much, but I stilll think he has underachieved! Had he come into ALL of his fights with top level cardio, his career would have been even better. Hendo frustrates me because he fights up or down to the level of his competition. I dont know how much of a threat he views Nate as, so I dont know how hard he would train for that fight…but I am sure that Nate would come into that fight with top cardio…so I would still give Nate the edge in cardio although he has never went 5 rounds.
Nate is probably the better fighter, but Hendo’s chin, RiDONKULOUS KO power and wrestling is too much for most middleweights to handle which is why Hendo would be the favorite in my eyes!

Lol is all I gotta say to that who has nate beaten to say he is better than hendo. Nate has more losses than hendo and has faced by far worse competition than hendo has. Declaring nate a better fighter then hendo is an absolutely ridiculous statement.

I meant that Nate is the more well rounded fighter and usually the more prepared fighter, but I think Hendo will beat him!

UFC sign Hendo already! He has the best chance of beating Silva period Belfort is going to get worked. Second Gerard is not putting the belt on the line wich makes me think he’s fighting a HW I hope its Werdum who is around 230 a easy weight for Gerard to get close to or even a catch weight at 225. Third Tito against Bonnar. And fourth Lashley would be a huge pick up for Strikeforce who needs fighters big time and Lashley has the closest ability to Brock even though not nearly as good or as a hard worker but he could beat Overeem and AA, Werdum and Fedor will be a reach Rogers would come down to who could control were the fight would happen and I feel lashley would make Rogers fight on the ground were he would rule a perfect test to see if lashley has the ability to play in the UFC.

Bloody Elbow has Forrest as the rumor for Tito to fight next?

John g I was hard on you at first but you bring some good points usually but hendo is all around a better fighter. Hendo has better wrestling and has never been ko’d or sub’d besides by the great one andy. Nate has no hope of ko’ing hendo or subing him so how do you see him winning?
by mma guru on Oct 9, 2009 1:44 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I dont see Nate winning. I will actually bet money on Hendo..but I think Nate is the more well rounded fighter, and a fighter that you can count on being more prepared. Luckily, I think Hendo will take Nate very serious so he will be in peak condition. When Hendo is in peak condition he is a very tough guy to beat. I like Hendo in this fight!

Griffin vs Ortiz for ufc 106
by john g on Oct 8, 2009 11:14 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I got Griffin winning. Ortiz needs to be in a strikeforce or MFC. he can’t compete in the UFC, get him out of here.

Rampage….you just lost a fan big time, what a sook, how about showing your fighters some respect, its not always about you.

NNR: I am biased, but I never let Bias cloud financial decisions…with that said, I cant believe I am actually going to bet money on Forrest Griffin. Tito isnt that good, and THATS THE LEVEL of opposition Forrest should be fighting…nOT THE TOP DOGS! Forrest will win this fight! Guess how? DECISION! hOw else would he win a fight?

Wow Dan is really bitter… I hope he goes to Strikeforce to give Mousassi a run for his money.
UFC doesn’t need him and shouldn’t pay the old man too much money. He is definitely not a big pay per view draw.

That picture of Anik as a jockey is hysterical. Put him right next to the three gay guys on the homepage of Mania.

Quality photo, funniest photoshop I’ve seen in a while. Also like the Caster Semenya picture, don’t know what that had to do with McNeil or Serena though.

O/T Kimbo just bashed Tito on Twitter, he said that he’s not that good and takes safe fights. Pretty funny that Kimbo of all people said something like that, he’s the last person that should be bashing someone for being overrated and fighting lesser talent.

Kimbo called the Forrest fight first holy crap looks like he got his wish, just confirmed by Tito and Anik on Twitter that it’s on.

what’s on? I don’t think I can ever watch the UFC again if the co-main event is Tito Ortiz and Kimbo Slice.
by frosnt on Oct 8, 2009 11:29 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
They should just move Ortiz/Coleman to 108 and put Evans/T.Silva on 106. That’s plenty of notice, it’s still 7 weeks away. Plus a card with Lesnar on it will get plenty of buys by itself. 108 needs another big fight cause A. Silva has never been a big draw for some reason.

Lets face it business wise UFC needs to get hendo signed he is a big name he would definately be a great addition to the strikeforce roster! as far as ppv draws hendo is not a big draw, although he is one of my personal favorites the fact remains ! I don’t see dan going to strikeforce or any other small time promotion but rather than risk losing a top guy at MW/LHW the ufc needs to get him signed asap

Breaking news from Twitter, Tito-Forrest II is on at 106, big news and unexpected considering Forrest’s recent frame of mind. Big opportunity for both guys to silence the critics. I’m calling it now, 106 will beat 100 in the buyrates.

Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin @ UFC 106 confirmed by Dana white according to Kevin Iole!!! Great replacement, better than the orginal match in my opinion. Razor close decision in their first fight but i see tito dominating this time as i dont think griffin’s head is where it needs to be.
by matt on Oct 8, 2009 11:18 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
This is a bad match-up for Tito for the reason that Tito was never that good and fighting Forrest after almost a 2 year lay off is not smart. Even though Forrest looked bad against Anderson, his game has gotten drastically better and evolved since their first encounter. I expect Forrest to use the same approach he did with Rampage and out work him on the feet. With that said, Forrest via a one-sided Unanimous Decision and Tito blames it on his back.
by Kilby on Oct 8, 2009 11:54 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
rampage isnt the same type of fighter as ortiz they are completely different. Rampage is a stand up fighter while tito puts guys on their backs and pounds them out. Forrest is a better fighter than he was back then but i still dont think he will be able to stuff most of tito’s takedowns especially if tito is 100% healthy like he says.

Good episode. I have watched this show since it began, these guys are really polishing it up. Especially Franklin, he was a little rough @ 1st but has gotten pretty good.
Photoshop was awesome.
