This is gonna be an epic card. I hope Vitor shocks the world and topples the seemingly invincible Spider with a laser sighted flurry of fury to his chin.

Also it would be nice to see Gonzaga and Thiago lay the smack down too.

So while we’re shaking the cobwebs off from our NYE celebrations we’ve got this to look forward to on the night! Can’t f*ck1n wait.

Happy New Year Maniacs!!!!

Vitor is going to shock the world indeed… Gonzaga-Dos Santos is going to be sweet!!!! Thiago Silva vs Rashad Evans is going to be insane too!! And we’ve got the lauzon bro’s fighting on the same card thats cool…

Thiago Silva and Rashad Evans both lost to lyoto machida devastatingly this fight will probley see who deserves a rematch with him if he is still the champion

Im hearing rumors Of Junior Dos Santos vs Gabriel Gonzaga on this card. We may finally get to see the ground game of JDS…unless GG gets knocked out before the fight goes there…

I hope they put GSP on this card. Maybe against Hendo at 185?

by MarkeyMARK on Oct 12, 2009 11:17 PM EDT reply actions

That makes no sense. Pointless statement

by DF on Oct 13, 2009 11:05 AM EDT up reply actions

LOL GSP is out tell at least the Super Bowl Card Hendo against Nate would be a great?

by Puck Head on Oct 15, 2009 6:53 PM EDT up reply actions

by jaime on Oct 13, 2009 12:01 AM EDT reply actions

That would be bad@ss! Belfort-Silva in a title fight and Henderson-Marquardt for the number oe contender stop that would be sick…

by belfort_fan on Oct 13, 2009 1:42 PM EDT up reply actions

Hendo was let go i believe, because they couldnt come to terms with his contract

by dank on Oct 29, 2009 12:29 PM EDT up reply actions

should be another great end of the year card
can’t wait to go

by bryant on Oct 13, 2009 1:48 AM EDT reply actions

why the hell are they giving Belfort a title shot, when Dan Henderson should be getting the title shit, and Marquardt and Belfort should be fighting. It Doesn’t make any sense. The UFC makes some dumb ass decisions sometimes !

by raf on Oct 13, 2009 3:07 PM EDT reply actions

u said title shit.. lol

by killer on Oct 13, 2009 4:16 PM EDT up reply actions

Because Silva didnt just beat both of them already, he finished them, Ufc has its reasons for putting Silva up against a fighter he has yet to fight, especially when its against an exsplosive fighter like Belfort. Hendo and Nate can fight each other to see who gets another chance at Silva, or if Silva some how doesnt win Belfort.

by corey on Oct 14, 2009 8:19 PM EDT reply actions

thats what Silvas manager said, Silva has beaten both Dan and Nate so he wants Vitor. He also said who ever wins from Dan or Nate should get the next shot at Silva. So its not all Dana this time.

i heard a small rumor that wandy vs akiyama will be on this card. that would be pretty slick, anything to push dan and cole to the prelims although that fight will be good and looking forward to it, hoping for a bigger name fight.

Stout by decision, No way Lauzon by any subs he wants

by JP on Nov 5, 2009 3:09 PM EST reply actions

gonzaga is still good. He broke Carwins nose and even dropped him. Carwin is famous because he beat Gabe. Dos Santos is undefeated and has nasty punches and apparently some jiu-jitsu. He loves to knee and Gabe likes to strike too. The winner of this one will get the Brock/Carwin loser. I think Nog get the next shot at Brock if he beats Cain.
