Really Tito? Feeling tough? Why dont you step up and call out Rogerio Nogueira?

I’d like to see Hendo re-sign and fight Tito at 205…that would be a decent matchup.
by Buster Bluth on Oct 6, 2009 9:52 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Hendo would straight mash him out. Coleman was suppose to send him packing but hendo would send him to an early grave.

Tito’s head is too big to fight Hendo (literally)…Hendo would splatter it like a Melon. I would LOVE to see it!

READ THIS:
The 29-year-old Strikeforce heavyweight champion is expected to face original “Ultimate Fighter” alum Sam Hoger at Glory 11 on Oct. 17 in his home city of Amsterdam.
Triple Crown Fighter’s Steve Ruisch, who brokered the deal for Hoger, told MMAWeekly.com Monday afternoon that the deal was “95 percent finalized.”-BE

Yea i read that yesterady. Well he did say he was gonna fight on the Golden Glory anniversary card a while back, and i can’t imagine them getting even a top 20 fighter for that matter to fight in a tiny gym show in Holland. People will just say that he’s avoiding fighting in the US though.
by NameNotRequired on Oct 6, 2009 11:27 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
He’s running from Fedor, like Fedor is running from Brock!!
by Dixon on Oct 6, 2009 11:27 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Hoger is going to come out of this fight the Strikeforce HW champ…not because he will beat Overeem and even though it’s not a Strikeforce fight…Hoger is going to steal Overeem’s belt backstage and claim that he was told it was free for anyone to take.

Kimbo’s challenged Tito at 106 now that Coleman’s injured, got to love Twitter. He said it as a joke but wanted to know what Tito thought of it. In all seriousness I want to see Tito fight a proper opponent now and prove that he is still a top 10 LHW, as a win over Coleman or Kimbo would be meaningless.
Overreem better lock up his t-shirts, you can’t trust Hoger. Joke of an opponent that though it should be funny watching Alistair murder the TUF thief.
by David W-S on Oct 6, 2009 11:52 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Nice one Buster haha, then he’ll give a big speech about how he has integrity and will finally give the belt back to Alistair, but deny that it was stolen and act like he’s doing the right thing. He’ll then get thrown off the card and boast about making a name for himself whilst not having to fight and claim it was his plan all along.

He is pissed taht he does’nt have his “gimme” can of a fight in 47 year old dinosaur Coleman.
He is PISSED that he may actually have to fight someone mroe on his level. I am SO GLAD this happened. NOT that Coleman got hurt, BUT that Ortiz will have to face a better fighter.

Tito loves it.

I think they are going to give Tito a good warm up/welcome back fight. I do not think the new opponent will be top notch competition.

War Tito, he may come across as a w*nker but still very entertaining guy to have around the UFC.
Plus i have a whole Nando’s chicken staked on him fighting within the year. COME ON TITO
With Tito and Lesner on the 106 card i think it will be a new PPV record for the UFC.
Don’t hate people, embrace.
by Dixon on Oct 6, 2009 9:50 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I doubt it. The card is nowhere near as hyped up or strong as UFC 100.
by frosnt on Oct 6, 2009 11:30 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Maybe if Tito were fighting a big name that would boost their sales a lot otherwise it’s a super weak co-main event.
by frosnt on Oct 6, 2009 11:31 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Forrest griffn would actually be a great matchup there both coming off losses to considered the 2 greatest fighters in UFC Forrest – Anderson Silva / Tito – Lyoto Machida so that would be a great rebound fight
~Forrest via Unanimous Decision
by Mylah on Oct 6, 2009 11:00 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Agreed, Mylah…IF Forrest’s head is back in the game. Based on that one interview we saw, I think he is still really emotional about that humiliating loss to Silva. He may need some time off before he “wants it” bad enough to get back in the ring and fight his best. Tito is not a guy you want to go up against if you’re mind is not 100% in the game, because for all his dodgning and whimpering and whining and excuses before and after his fights, Tito is very mentally tough between the bells. He never checks out of a fight once he’s in it and if Forrest didn’t come in totally focussed, Tito will smell that and dominate him.

He should fight jon jones, would be a good fight
by kickbox on Oct 6, 2009 10:01 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
They should break-up the Couture vs Vera fight. People would want to see Tito vs Couture II. Plus I put them both at about the same level in the 205 rankings. The winner gets a top 5 guy and then maybe a title shot.
by Dave O on Oct 6, 2009 10:10 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I like that idea as you said it will be them both starting 205 again. Which is also fairer
by Dixon on Oct 6, 2009 10:29 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Agreed. Tito is a more worthy opponent for Randy than Brandon Queera.
by shonuff on Oct 6, 2009 10:44 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Why? Is Tito in need of another in-ring spanking?
by PW on Oct 6, 2009 10:49 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Tito vs Couture is a way better main event for UFC 105 and then Vera vs Franklin can be added as the UFC 106 co-main event. Or you can switch the fights and have Vera/Franklin fight on the free card, I guess that makes more sense.
by Dave O on Oct 6, 2009 2:41 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Yes, as long as we get it at 105, otherwise once again the UK has no main event. No chance Tito will miss out on a huge payday though for a European card fight with Randy on short notice, when he can fight on a card guaranteed to be a huge draw just because him and Brock are fighting.
by David W-S on Oct 6, 2009 11:59 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Scrap Evans vs. Silva and have Evans fight Ortiz. Those two fought to a draw previously because of the ref taking points from Ortiz who without the deductions would have come out on top. Make Rashad prove he’s better the better figther.
by Stu on Oct 6, 2009 10:14 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Sorry Stu, it sounds like a good fight in theory but it would never happen. Jardine has not fought Tito recently so Rashad would want nothing to do with that fight.

i vote he fights the homeless guy that he got ragged on by last week on tmz. he might actually beat him.

Don’t see it happening but I would love to see Tito vs Hendo at 205. Also wouldn’t mind seeing Tito vs Franklin. Not really interested in seeing Tito vs couture II at this point as someone above suggested.
by brandon childers on Oct 6, 2009 10:19 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
He’s not gonna get a top ten guy, but they still want to give him someone who’s atleast relevant or has a name. Why not give him Ryan Bader or at the very least Stephan Bonnar.
by JoeJoe on Oct 6, 2009 10:22 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Bader doesn’t have a name! Bonnar is a possibility, but I definitely see them giving him a top-ten guy. They want to make money off his name and their not gonna do that against someone people never heard of.
by shonuff on Oct 6, 2009 10:56 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
The guy won a season of TUF. How is that not having a name?
by JoeJoe on Oct 6, 2009 11:14 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Rashad Evans! They both need an opponent and even though, like anyone else, Tito needs a tune up fight, I think he’ll beat Reashad!
by Dana's a CrossDresser on Oct 6, 2009 10:40 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Rashad is booked to fight Thiago Silva. Rashad would murder Tito now.
by LJ on Oct 6, 2009 11:47 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Damn LJ, I forgot about Thiago and Rashad! However, I still think Tito would win! I would like to see a fight with Wandy!
by Dana's a CrossDresser on Oct 6, 2009 2:20 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
If the Coleman fight is scrapped (Mark could have fallen and broken a hip), there is no shortage of fighters at LHW that could be brought in. There is more than six weeks to go before the event, which is plenty of time for a good training camp provided the bout agreements are made this week.
by Drake_Labatt on Oct 6, 2009 10:43 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Tito has had a lot of controversial fights that ought to be rematched (Griffin, Belfort, Rashad).
Wouldn’t mind seeing Tito vs Wandy or Lil Nog.
I think Ortiz/Franklin would be the most interesting matchup at this point. Rich needs to make a splash at 205 and Tito needs to prove he can still hang with the big boys.
by shonuff on Oct 6, 2009 10:53 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Now, there is another good idea, bring in Wand for Tito II, maybe Tito can turn his back again and run.
by the Slovak on Oct 8, 2009 8:55 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I like the Rashad/Ortiz fight. Ortiz talked a lot of trash as usual after that fight, and I think Rashad would like to prove he can actually beat Tito.

I think Forrest would like the same chance. He got robbed on that decision!

how about Tito VS The Homeless Man on the street that Tito was shit talking too a few clips back or Tito Vs Tomato Can? Because that’s what type of fighters Dana is looking to put in front of his new Money Maker. Tito is a egotistical A_ _ HOLE! and Dana knows how to make fucking money at other peoples expense. The only reason i use that word is because that word comes out of Dana’s mouth in just about every interview. He sounds like suck a jerk with all his cussing. I bet Dana would say YA, but I am making a lot of fucking money and we haven’t even scratched the surface with how big were gonna be. How about DANA VS TITO? I WOULD PAY TO SEE THAT!!!

by Conan the Barbarian on Oct 6, 2009 11:26 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I can’t beleive Tito would have the gall to accuse anyone of sissing out after all the years he spent dodging Chuck Liddell to hold on to his belt!

I think you might be right jet99. I would prefer to see him fight Franklin. Franklin would technically take Tito apart. I’m a Tito fan, but style wise Jardine and Franklin would take him apart.
by Red on Oct 6, 2009 11:29 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I agree with you on Franklin, and I doubt they are looking to have Tito beat his first fight back! not that Jardine could not beat Tito but has a far less chance of doing so than Franklin
by jet99 on Oct 6, 2009 11:56 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I agree with you jet99. Tito is definately gonna fight a lower tier fighter. Maybe it will be Bonnar, but that is a dangerous fight for Tito because Bonnar is looking to get back to his winning ways. I’m guessing it will be agaisnt somebody like Seth Petruzelli.

by Texican on Oct 6, 2009 4:04 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
For real after all the years of excuses about his back this and his back that, I am not fighting at 100%, BLAH BLAH BLAH! No fighter is at 100% after a training camp. To accuse Coleman of being a sissy after years of excuses just proves what a hypocritical POS Tito is. Keep making yourself relevant with smack talk because at 205, you no longer exsist. At best he will be a top 20 to 10 fighter, the 205 is to deep and the up and comers are to hungry and well rounded. Give him to Franklin, Jones, Bader,or even Cane would be great match ups for him and could make the careers of Jones and Bader…
