Hmmm Dos Santos looks a lot bigger than Cro cop. Could be trouble for Cro Cop. Hope he proves me wrong though.

That was exactly what stuck out for me when I saw the pics.

Pics are always misleading he does have about a 15 pound weight advantage but noithing new to Cro Cop he’s been undersized many of times in his career hell he was 25 to 30 pounds less than Barnett when he beat him back in Pride.

this one especially since all we see is his back… I hope Cro Cop knocks him back to Brasil!

Cro cop has no chance, I’m still excited for this fight though.

I’m gonna prove you guys wrong on this one. Cro Cop is gonna be sleepin’ with the fishes!

This one’s tough to call. The only thing I’d put money on is that it won’t go to a decision. Then again, I said the same about CroCop/Fedor. We shall see tonight! I’m rooting for CroCop. With all his accomplishments, he’s never had a belt and I’d love to see him with one before he retires. May be too late though.

Interesting to see Tito Ortiz claim at the Q & A that he knows some secrets and that Kimbo will be exposed on the ultimate fighter which is kinda more or less saying kimbo aint gonna do so good..although im sure most people arent suprised!

Too bad Tito never learned the secret of decent grammar. Remember when he was doing commentary for EliteXC? He makes Bush look articulate! Hey now, there’s an idea! “W” has a lot of free time these days. How fun would it be to see him as a commentator on Strikeforce!!!
GEORGE: Looks like he’s goin’ fer one ‘o them arm-twisty thingies, Bob! Oucharooni! Bet that’s excuse-iating. Never bet against Americaners!
BOB: But he’s Brazilian!
GEORGE: Don’t matter, in this country we don’t judge a fella on his religion! …Jewdish, Baptist, Cathader, Brazilian, Bootyist, Hendo…we don’t disseminate! We’re all Americaners, Bob! ’Cept fer the foreigners, of course! Heheh.

…Damn, Silva really fucked that nose up bad on Franklin…. he barely has one left…

This could be fight of the night if we are fortunate enough to see the old Cro Cop, not the unmotivated head case I think he has become. I think the guy is seriously suffering from a crisis of confidence in the octogon. How could he not after almost getting decapitated by Gonzaga of all people then getting abused by Kongo. Anyway I think Dos Santos wins this by split, in what could be, if the old Cro Cop shows up, fight on the night
by RamJ on Sep 18, 2009 10:51 PM EDT reply actions
Trust me, the old Cop will not show up.
Hell it didn’t even show up in the Al-Turk fight…

vitor looks soft. wonder if he cold have overtrained since he basically went from a training camp for jorge right into a training camp for rich. i hope he’s close to tip-top for the fight. ready to see vitor back on the big stage

Hermes Franca must be the funniest most homo looking dude in MMA.. for realz what is he doing with his hair!? HAHAHA
by RoBerto on Sep 18, 2009 10:58 PM EDT reply actions
Vitor was ripped back in the days and now he looks like an old man. Franklin is going to beat him.
by Nini on Sep 19, 2009 12:04 AM EDT reply actions
Vitor was carrying too much muscles back in the day and that’s why he ran out of gas in every fight..
by RoBerto on Sep 19, 2009 1:33 AM EDT up reply actions
That’s ‘coz he’s older[and wiser]now. Could spel big trouble for Rich and his title hopes.
by Syd on Sep 19, 2009 2:01 AM EDT up reply actions
but look at his weigh in pic from affliction he looked ripped. i had picked vitor for this fight but after seeing him weighing in im a little worried.
by irishlilpete on Sep 19, 2009 3:32 AM EDT reply actions
Gotta keep in mind he had to way 10 pounds less for the Affliction fight.
by Jye on Sep 19, 2009 5:34 AM EDT reply actions
Vitor looked lethargic and exhausted during his video blogs, almost drugged up. I know he has become spiritual and such over the years but it looks like somebody sucked the life out of him. He definitely is not the 19 year old Vitor we saw in the 90’s. Nonetheless, I am still rooting for the guy. There was a time when he was one of the most exciting fighter to watch in the UFC. He has fought some very good fighters over the years. This fight could be a war.

I Would like to see Franklin fight against Nate “the great” M !!!
by Sean on Sep 19, 2009 10:36 AM EDT reply actions
I’ve been thinking the same thing for weeks, Sean. I like Nate a lot, but I think before he gets another shot at the current champ, he should see if he can handle the former one. I kinda doubt it.
But, I’m more interested in seeing how Franklin does against the top5 Lightheavyweights…and I’d love to see him beat up on Tito.

Know what I’d really like to see tonight! A 3-round war between Vitor and Franklin! …one that will put to rest any lingering suspicions about Vitor’s mental or physical durability and will position both of them to make huge entrances into their new divisions. Much as I love seeing Vitor obliterate guys in the opening minutes, I think proving his mental stamina would earn him more respect than a quick KO over Franklin.

Though Cole Miller’s loss tonight was a disappointment to his fans don’t count him out. This kid lives, eats and sleeps MMA and his plan is to go to Brazil to train more on his jujitsu. If any of his kicks had connected or he had gotten Efrain on the ground it would have been a whole different out come……
I know this because I’m his aunt. He and his brother Micah are two of the most dedicated athletes you will ever encounter. You haven’t seen the last of either of them.
