Rashad is great on this show. When he is done in UFC, he will have long life as broadcaster. He has also won a lot of fans over this Rampage- A Team debacle.

Yea Rashad’s coaching is by far much more logical, and much better than Rampages, I’m starting to come around and I used to HATE Rashad Evans.

agree 100%! I used to hate this guy but now he is starting to grow on me from watching this show! i think the ultimate fighter will open alot of peoples minds about him, i think rampages departure for a film role and the likely hood that he actually instigates most of the friction will only help rashad’s fan base grow!

Rashad has always been great on TV when he’s being proffessional like this, not so much when he’s trying to hype a fight cause he gets too personal.

I think he is just more humble after his loss to Lyoto. I think he is a good guy, who maybe let things get to his head, and needed to be brought back down to earth.

The idea of a Chuck vs. Kimbo fight is laughable at best. Chuck wouldn’t have beaten Kimbo before, he would have possibly killed him. Even as far past his prime as he seems to be, Chuck is still much better than Kimbo could ever hope to be.

I may be the only person interested, due to my powerlifting backround, but I am really curious to see what Mariusz Pudzianowski will look like in his mma debut. This guy has more size and strength than Brock Lesnar could ever dream of, and that is scary. He doesn’t have the wrestling backround, but he is very athletic, and I believe has trained in Kyokushin Karate as well as boxing.

Another WTF-inducing gem from RoBerto. Did you really just accuse Rashad of getting too personal with trash talk? When your favorite fighters include Nick Diaz, BJ and Tito? Dude, you seriously need to start applying a little bit of the same criticisms to guys who you ARE a fan of.

Naturalshadow, that would be epic. I read somewhere that he used to box more many years before focusing on strongman events.
The last rumour that I heard was that he was looking into signing a contract with a Polish based mma promotion called KSW.
I’m not sure if that means he’s going to fight any time soon, as he’s appearing in 2009 strongman in Malta.
But still, would be very interesting to see him fight!

I did, Nick Diaz is not a favorite but i like him yeah.. He doesn’t let things go to his head like Rashad does, He’s just being real.. Rashad is fake, gets personal and screws himself up and makes himself look bad

Rampage is such a goof!!! I was embarrassed a couple times last night watching TUF!!! I cant wait to see rashad kick pages ass, if that fight even happens, Im sure Rampage will have a good reason to get out of this one as well.

I think he did well also. I would like to see him against Silva too :) i think Silva would mess him up tho

I always laugh when Rashad puts on his Momma’s voice, sounds retarded or something! Funny though!

What the hell is Bob Arum’s problem?? He makes “white” sound like a dirty word!

I’ve always liked Rashad he can get a little cocky but it’s only when push comes to shove, he was never like that with Liddell, because Liddell didn’t talk trash. Rashad’s a fairly level headed guy, always has been.

I have a feeling that rashad’s team probably damn near swept rampage’s on this TUF season. Rashad just has a HUGE advantage in the coaching department with Greg Jackson helping him out. From what I’ve seen just from the first episode, it doesn’t look like Rampage has much of a chance of his side winning especially when he chose kimbo over Roy Nelson.

by Miguel on Sep 17, 2009 6:54 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Yep. Rampage just wants to phuck around as usual with his little butt buddy Tiki. He told Kimbo that he would pick him first and that he didn’t even have to do anything. Then he starts taunting the guy with boobs and picking on Roy for his belly. The dude has no class. Always trying to be funny when most of the time he isn’t.

I think you’re right Miguel. Rampage is at a HUGE disadvantage as a coach for 2 reasons. 1)Rashad not only was trained by great guys like Franklin and Greg Jackson, he actually has Greg Jackson standing beside him doing most of the real coaching which happens off camera. 2)Rampage never really had great coaches/teachers/training partners himself, so he hasn’t had that model of what a great trainer should look like or what he should do for his fighters. Rampage got where he is on raw talent and instinct. That’s made him a great fighter, but hasn’t prepared him to teach others.

My pics for top 5 TUF Alumni.

Rashad
Forrest
(how can you not pick two guys who’ve won the best in the most hotly contested division)
Keith Jardine
Josh Koscheck
Diego Sanchez

shonuff – are those guys ranked?
You have Diego at the bottom of you list? Below Jardine and Koz? Rshad and Forrest I understand since they had the belt at one time (like you said). Diego was a #1 contender at one point until he realized he should drop to 155. Now he’s #1 again and has a great chance of beating BJ for the belt. Unlike Rashad and Forrest, Diego will hold the belt for a while because no one in 155 can beat he right now! Dude is primed to be champ.
War Diego!
