todd duffee is rumored to fight paul beuntell [ufc 107 or 108?.

Hahaha Mir learned his lesson about rematches.

Remember it’s a rumor and I hope it’s not true or Mir has a good reason why. Yvel & Buentello are excellent veteran fighters additions to the HW division and I’m looking forward to their future fights and if the Mir rumor is true NOG will get his chance to be the #1 contender i would prefer to see him and Mir fight but if Mir wins would that put Mir at #1 or does the UFC want to make Mir go up threw the ranks before he gets another shot?

wow if that is true mir is the biggest joke in mma, and he obvioulsy just want kongo because he knows if he can get it to the ground he will win

If true maybe he wants to test his stand up I don’t believe he would shy away unless he had good reasons possibly even money as i heard Strikeforce is intested in his serves by a rumor on one of the MMA sites after 100 and Mir has not always had nice things to say about the UFC and the way it treats the less popular fighters I don’t know how long his contract is but maybe he if he wins out and keeps the win against NOG a fight against Fedor is more likely and he has stated his desire before he retires to have the chance at fighting NOG and Strikeforce would get a vocal fighter with a hate on for the UFC and a better challenger than anyone they have as far as being the biggest joke in MMA it wouldn’t touch Fedor ducking Brock.

correction…before he retires having the chance at fighting FEDOR

That was alot to say in one sentence.

Wow, seems like Mir is scared and knows that he has everything to “LOOSE”!

I’d be shocked if Trigg won this. He’s 37, and koscheck has got to be pretty hungry after his last few performances.

So basically he is saying that Kosh is younger and better, but now that he has a family he needs the money?
by capt doug on Sep 12, 2009 4:32 PM EDT reply actions
Thats a tough first fight back, Koschek should win this fight.

Bet on trigg if you are in to giving your money away. How can he even think that he is relevant in todays world of mma, let alone when he was younger?

i have already placed my bet..
i got trigg at +250..
i dont see trigg losing, unless he lets josh’s power take advantage..
i see frank winning via sub late 2nd round.. if not, i see a ud win for trigg..

your smoking crack man, its gonna be like Kos/Lytle where Kos controls the whole fight.
by Jizzo on Sep 12, 2009 5:11 PM EDT up reply actions
imo~ it’s worth the risk..
don’t sneeze at frank trigg, the mans been around and seems very focused..
if kos dominates, it won’t ruin my life..

Trigg’s never beaten anyone of top caliber…check on Sherdog. Run your mouth now you low-grade radio host, cuz Kos will put u right back in that chair within one round.
by Slam City on Sep 12, 2009 5:47 PM EDT reply actions
its funny, he beat Dennis Hallman twice and both were at 4:15 of the 1st round, and twice Hallman has stopped Hughes in the 1st seconds of the 1st round.

Misaki is no slouch who has a KO victory over Sexyama (overturned but gimme a break) and Hendo. Trigg did get steamrolled in the UFC at 170 but he def has a chance. He’s a wily ol’ veteran.

Where the hell do they conduct all these interviews. It’s like every time I see a fighter getting interviewed it’s in the back of some crack house.
by frosnt on Sep 12, 2009 9:52 PM EDT reply actions
ah, that would make sense. Come on, though, we definitely see fighters get interviewed in some weird places, though. Like I saw Ed Soares get interviewed ocne in the middle of the street and it was loud as hell.

Anybody that thinks Koscheck is a sure bet is a complete fool. MMA is upset central, I lost a shit load of money on the first GSP vs Serra fight. Nobody is a sure bet.
by Oskarbravo on Sep 12, 2009 10:12 PM EDT reply actions
LMAO!!! SORRY BUT YOUR A FOOL TO BET ON SOMEONE THATS -800 like GSP was. I dont care if it is GSP vs. Serra. $800 risk to win $100 is not worth it to me in MMA. I would have never taken that bet or even $80 to win $10. Anyway, Koscheck will win this fight in boring fashion of some GNP so if you have already bet on Trigg then you are a fool as well…. Other than that i just want to say that i cant stand female interviewers.

So Frank says kos is smaller and weaker? I’ve never met Frank, but kos is huge and freakishly strong.

I’m glad Dana gave Trigg another chance in the UFC. I’ve always enjoyed his fights in the past.
