Cro Cop and Miller look like the good dog bets at first glance.

Belfort would be a good bet as well.

+110 underdog for a guy coming off 2 brutal KO wins and looking as good as he ever has at MW isn’t a bad bet in my opinion, Franklin could be in big trouble in this fight. Never doubt the Phenom.

Vitor an underdog? He’s gonna murder Rich. Trigg won’t win. I like franca but his gas has been suspect for so long that i can’t bet him against Tyson who seems to be the new brazillian Killa. Miller has good value on him.

haha dont count rich out, he has only lost to anderson and machida in his life. i dont consider the hendo fight a loss, since rich was picking him apart, despite being headbutted and gouged in the eyes.Like i said after facing anderson twice, belfort wont scare rich much. rich by brutal GnP.

I could just see Ace outpointing and outworking Belfort. But still rooting for Vitor. If the 19-yr old Phenom shows up, it’s gonna be a short night for Ace.

Belfort’s back but he’s gotta a hell of an opponent in Rich Franklin.

Wingblade, you want an underdog and maybe a lock favorite. For example Belfort at + 110, you bet 100 you win 110. If you take Koscheck u bet 400 to win 100. This is not an easy card for a rookie. I would go 100 on Trigg, if it hits u win 300. Also a parlay may be nice with Belfort and someone of your choosing.

Belfort, Cole Miller and Dos Santos in one parlay. Or maybe Cro Cop, Trigg and Franca would pay nice. Each for 50 and Trigg for 100. If Trigg wins you clean up. 200 invested, if Trigg wins you win 300+ parlay winnings if one or both hit

cool thanks for the help. a buddy of mine said that in a parlay, all have to hit? or is it just a bigger payout if they do?
by wingblade on Sep 12, 2009 4:55 PM EDT up reply actions
Dos Santos is a lock my friend. A lock. Trigg is going to get beat so stay far away from that bet. Main event is 50/50 so whoever you like.

Parlays — all bets have to hit or you lose, but the payoff is pretty big. Bookies really love when people bet parlays if that tells you anything.

sooo what you recommend to us PW?? what kind of bet is the best?
by JoW on Sep 12, 2009 6:46 PM EDT up reply actions
Ignore the odds and first identify the fighters you think will win. A large potential payout does no good if the guy can’t win the fight. It’s better to bet $100 on a guy at -400 and win $25 than to bet on his opponent at +250 and lose. If you’ve got two, maybe three, fights that you feel really certain on then maybe parlay those.

Can’t believe that Franklin is the favorite there definitely is some money to be made there as well as Frank trigg Koscheck in no way deserves a -400.
by Khaos_Warrior on Sep 12, 2009 6:41 PM EDT reply actions
franklin is too strong for belfort, sure he has fast hands, but the only one who has made richs standup look bad is anderson and machida, so i would definately pick rich to beat up belfort standing and on the ground.
