The field of fighters set to compete at Shark Fights 6: "Stars and Stripes" from the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum in Amarillo, Texas, on Sept. 12, tipped the scales yesterday for the official pre-fight weigh in.
Main event participants, grizzled mixed martial arts veteran Don Frye and up-and-comer Dave "Pee Wee" Herman (14-1), had no trouble coming in lighter than their heavyweight limit of 265 pounds.
And WEC/UFC veteran, Nissen Osterneck and Gerald Harris -- who's on a six-fight win streak -- made the 185-pound division limit for their middleweight championship showdown.
