your first, but you have nothing to say so your post holds no validity. I assume you didn’t even watch the video in your haste to be the first one to post on this thread. So now that you have achieved your goal of one upping every single person who might possibly take time out of their day to remark on this video about Junior Dos Santos and his lack of pre fight jitters and tough sparring sessions you can go about your day with an air of supreme confidence and restored self worth. congratulations.

Junior KO end of Rd 1. He’s minotauro’s boy so i can’t root against him. Plus there is no need to worry too much about the ground game here, so it’s just a matter of tightening up his hands with Dorea.

I have a decent amount of cash on Dos Santos. Cro cop has to be unconscious for me to collect though.

cro cop will destroy this kid, then all bandwaggon jumpers can jump back on the croatian express! cro cop vs nog to determine no 1 contender, let dos santos fight gonzaga, winner of mir/kongo face cain if victorius to determine next contender!

Get him JRE!!!!! Yeah, I wont ever root against NOg’s top student! Junior will win this fight! No doubt about it! I already laid money on it!

This could go either way, as the betting lines suggest, but there is no young rising talent better placed than JDS to make it huge. Hes got the trainers, sparring partners, the mentality, the killer instinct to finish fights, ground skills, size, strength and youth, if he could borrow Nogs chin he would be a unstopable.
An impresive win would catapult him into the bigtime. Just keep your right hand high Junior! Cigano dragon punch KO 2nd round.
Hers a link again to the JDS highlight video I did http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZRXJ0TXpfc

Great video paniczoo, i am impressed! That just got me hyped for this fight and reinforced my confidence in my bet. It kind of seems like a no-brainer to me really, what with Cro Cops recent string of lack luster performances, plus with how exciting and devastating JDS has looked in his last couple fights. I mean I can understand how people will still bet for Mirko, simply because of his famous past and all. But I see the reality of the situation, he peaked in Pride. He looks old and slow, I guess ever since Gonzaga, and I admit that is mostly based on losses to Kongo and Overeem (he was getting beat down, even if it was a NC, its a loss in my book). But also I don’t put much stock in his wins over Hong Man Choi and Turk, I think he looked overweight and slow in both fights. Maybe I am wrong and we will see Mirko resume his former status as a top fighter and make a title run over the next couple of years, but I highly doubt it and expect him to be out of the ufc after two more fights.

NIce work Panic…
Jre; great post brother.
Its simple: Junior is easily the more complete and versatile fighter.
Cro Cop is the easiest fighter to gameplan for. All Junior needs to worry about are the left kicks, the left straight, and a few occasional hooks. Fedor wrote the blueprint to beat Cro cop, and Kongo and Gonzaga followed that Blueprint and beat Mirko.
The blueprint is simple: Hands up, dont be afraid of Mirko, keep coming forward and back him down and he will be taken out of his game!
I have full confidence that JDR can win this fight standing, but ift hat fails, he has a BJJ brown belt from the legendary Nog brothers….what does Cro cop have to fall back on? NOt a damn thing!
I hope no one interprets this post as me hating on mirko. He is one of my all time favorites, I just think a yound hungry Lion like JDR is creeping on a come up and Mirko will be the next victim!
UFC shoud just book Mirko vs. chuck, let them ban it out and then they can both retire~

Truth – the worst thing that could happen to Cro Cop would be to win this fight and then haved NOG slip on a banana peel and let CC win that one to become the #1 contender. A fight between him and Lesnar would be on the edge of comical. If Lesnar wants to go to the ground with a BJJ black belt he will definitely not be afraid of CCs ground game. The destruction would end CCs career not from injury but from showing that he is out dated as a HW. Lesnar is not the type of guy to test his chin with CC.
It is all irrelevant thought as I do not think he will get past Junior. CC is very one dimensional and has shown serious holes in his game in the UFC. Truth be told his career should of ended with the Gonzaga fight. For CC that injury is devistating to his game.

So you prove my “first” post was pointless by ranting about my first post, and in the process managed to find the only way to make a post more pointless than mine! amazing, you are teh winna mon. also i was watching the video while typing that so you can stop squeezing that stress relief toy ;) JDS or CC, Idk, hard choice to make, I guess im taking cro cop :-/

man I know clay had to be bored out of his mind only words was " I hope so" lol
by Akabane on Sep 5, 2009 6:59 PM EDT reply actions
i dont get why clay was even there, but idk who to choose between JDS and CC, really hard to call.
by Hendo_One-Shot on Sep 5, 2009 7:15 PM EDT reply actions
I’m pretty sure they cut all the Clay parts cause this is a Dos Santos Video.
by Natas on Sep 5, 2009 7:45 PM EDT up reply actions
I don’t know why they bothered to ask Dos Santos about who was going to win between a brazilian and a non brazilian.

why the heck does the country have to do with anything? I’m canadian and if I know someone from canada is going to loose.. thats my prediction

i cant believe people are automatically turning on cro cop after a couple bad performances…the guy has fought everyone…hes proven himself to be one of the top strikers ever to exist in mma….dos santos only legit win is a ko of an overweight ju jitsu guy with no stand up…its like nate ko’ing maia, werdum isnt a striker…dos santos is….maia isnt a striker, nate is…
and struve? who the hell has he fought? he was makin his ufc debut…
cro cop has fought the best in the world…literally:
1.(fedor) and gave the guy one of his toughest fights ever…
2.hes beaten barnett 3 times!, who a month ago was considered the number 2 hw in the world!,
3.beat wandy when wandy still relevant,
4. alex emelianeko
5. herring
6. randleman
7. coleman
who the hell has dos santos fought again?
yea cro cop had a couple bad fights, but look what hes accomplished…
its ridiculous to count this guy out
by HellaHectic on Sep 5, 2009 8:16 PM EDT reply actions
its not turning on cro cop it’s looking at his current state and coming up with an accurate prediction using his most recent fight and not fights from the past. im a huge cro cop fan and always will be but he doesn’t even look close to the cro cop you mention with all your valid points.
that being said
cro cop by tko >:D
by Jared on Sep 5, 2009 8:36 PM EDT up reply actions
All you said was true. but nowadays, for fight fans in general, you’re only as good as your last fight.

cro cop was dominating that dude before the eye poke, dont forget he had already dropped him before that, he was completely outclassing him, it was just a matter of time before the dude was staring up at the lights…it was an unfortunately ending…but regardless of the eyepoke that fight was only about a minute from being over…crocop was dominating him and everyone here knows it, watch the fight over yourself…that dude had been dropped and he was hurt before the poke
by HellaHectic on Sep 5, 2009 10:56 PM EDT up reply actions
I am not disagreeing with that point HellaHectic, as you seem to be CCs biggest fan, do you really think he could become champ right now?
by ASR on Sep 6, 2009 10:11 AM EDT up reply actions
I feel sorry for Cro Cop. He’s going to get the day light’s knocked out of him.
by EpicWarrior on Sep 5, 2009 9:19 PM EDT reply actions
Dos Santos is brutal. Cro Cop is a cool fighter but he will get caught.
I think this will be a classic.
by Daddy Lupo on Sep 6, 2009 12:10 AM EDT reply actions
it would be great to see cro cop defeat this guy
by dia mette on Sep 6, 2009 3:22 AM EDT reply actions
yeah, i think we’ll see the big difference in effective punch combos from JDS particularly as counters to mirko’s kicks. JDS’s hands are as ( or more) dangerous than any heaveyweight right now. CC wont be able to back down Junior and will be eating a grip of leather.
Get well Swick

cro cop’s done! Dos Santos, Cain, Gormley & Duffee are the future
by bad intentions on Sep 6, 2009 8:19 AM EDT reply actions
I think you should give Gormley and Duffee some time before declaring them the future. Yeah, Duffee looked great in his fight, but even Houston Alexander looked good in his first two UFC fights. And we haven’t seen how Gormley will do against Struve yet.

Dos Santos will knock Cro Cop out 1st rd. He’s the only man that can knock Brock out.
by real mma on Sep 6, 2009 8:43 AM EDT reply actions
Lol yea an I"ll bet that if Carwin is ble to connect on Brock he will knock him out

Huge CroCop fan, but I don’t think he takes this one.
by Jonny on Sep 6, 2009 9:49 AM EDT reply actions
Well, can’t get a better camp to train with. If he has learned 1% of Machida and Andersons striking style, combined with his power, it’ll be an easy night for Dos. I love Cro Cop just as much as anyone, but this is not a good fight for him. He’s to small. He needs to fight Randy after this loss.
I think it would catch everyone off guard if Dos just took him down, and pounded him out or subbed him.
I’ve said it before, this fight is Mirkos punishment for being such a douche about contracts.
by Miketsi on Sep 6, 2009 11:48 AM EDT reply actions
It looks like they are going to use JDS to knock out all of the overpaid HWs out of the UFC.
by UFCAddict on Sep 6, 2009 3:26 PM EDT reply actions
you guys are underestimating Cro Cop. but thats fine,
Ill tell you whats going to happen. JDS gets knocked out of his mind in t he first round. And we will be here again after the fight and everybody that is counting Cro Cop out will write different comments next time. Cro Cop is back and ready. we will see
