Also major props for Kenny calling out the “Unorthodox” bs which is a meaningless word like so many other useless words we have in MMA. It simply translates at “Sucks at fundamentals.” In other sports unorthodox fighters have great grasps of fundamentals but simply give more room for things like athleticism or timing or savy to get the job done.

DONUT eating competition after the fight. Gaydor is a -600 favorite for the donut comp.

yeah, lets be honest.. Keith Jardine’s standup is far from great, it looks pretty amateurish to me. He looked horrible in the Thiago Silva fight, running straight forward punching with no head movement is something you should learn to NOT do your first day!
SO much for training hard and making changes..

I have been wondering if there will be some kind of Pride Hall of Fame. Presumably if there ever is one, it would be for guys in the UFC. I think it’s obvious that guys like Wanderlei deserve to be in the HOF, but his UFC record isn’t all that great.

Wandi/Nog would definatley belong there.

But I think regardless those two will be in the UFC HOF just for their carreers overall.

No. Its a 1 round fight with Fedor getting knocked out within a minute.

ha. i happen to agree with you on that. i think rogers will knock him out. Going to be a buster douglas type of situation. But, if this fight goes the distance, it is only 3 rounds?

Well yeah, neither of them’s a champion yet are they? They may as well make it for the belt as there’s as much chance of Overeem defending it in the States as there is of me taking on the Mighty Thor in the finals of the World Arm Wrestling Championships.

I’m only in the quarter finals at the moment odamn, I dont hold out much hope though, I’ve been drawn against Optimus Prime. Winner gets Wolverine or Godzilla.

What are the odds on the Incredible Hulk?
I heard his roll over wrist technique is superb.

I’m a huge Fedor guy. No matter how you haters slice it, his record and opponents speak for themselves. Am I worried about a knockout? Yeah, I think anyone would be silly not to. But Fedor, is by FAR, a technical wizard. Barring a fluke knockout (which is certainly possible with Rogers’ strength), I take Fedor by submission first round. I think Fedor’s smart enough to avoid a brawl…
