UFC 105: Ross Pearson vs Aaron Riley in the works for Nov. 14

The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Season 9 lightweight winner Ross Pearson will make his second appearance inside the Octagon when he takes on Aaron Riley at UFC 105 from the Manchester Evening News (MEN) Arena in Manchester, England, on Nov. 14, according to MMAWeekly .
Pearson bulldozed his way through A.J. Wenn, Richie Whitson, and Jason Dent to eventually capture the TUF crown by besting Andre Winner via unanimous decision at the June 20 Finale earlier this year.
"The Real Deal" is a scrappy 155-pounder with plenty of heart -- and will likely need every ounce of it to handle the venerable Riley.
The gritty veteran was on the losing end of a questionable stoppage when he was dropped by Shane Nelson early in the first round at UFC 96 last March. Company President Dana White issued an immediate rematch that saw Riley come back and dismantle the Hawaiian at UFC 101 on August 8.
UFC 105 will be the first show held at the MEN Arena since UFC 70: "Nations Collide," which featured one of the sport’s biggest upsets when Gabriel Gonzaga defeated Mirko Filipovic via crushing head kick.
The event has yet to be officially announced by the promotion; therefore, it’s still unclear who will headline the show. To see how the card has been shaping up thus far be sure to hit up or event archive right here .

Good fight.
Ross is much more talented / gifted than Shane Nelson (who I still like to watch).
What was his issue on TUF? Doesnt his shoulde pop out often?
Hopefully this isn’t like the Manny Gamburyan fight w/ Nate Diaz.

I agree, good fight. I actually like ross on TUF, and I don’t usually like too many of them playing up to the cameras and acting like morons. I tend to like the guys there to train and not mess around!

I think Pearson is in for a beating.
Riley by TKO.

That Season was more about building Hendo/Bisping and adding a reason to why Bizzy even got a crack at Dan.
I thought it was an interesting season though. I love how the Brits behaved vs the Yanks. I don’t need to comment, if you saw the show you know what i’m talking about.
