Eh, given the talent pool of Strikeforce heavyweights, he may as well be next in line.

wow…beating mike kyle gets you to the glory land in strikeforce. though werdum wasnt the fat pig he was in the ufc, maybe a date with someone else first is right….like rogers?

werdum, rogers and Alistar are all top 15 fighters, and I honestly dont mind seeing any of them fight Fedor..
People bitch about Grim not being a worthy opponent for Fedor, but fact of the matter is, Grim was more impressive in his big fight then Carwin was, cause Arlovski is better than Gonzaga. Grim is on the same level as Carwin, both undefeated fighters with close to the same number of fights, and both only have 1 worthy win to boast. Yet no one would ever complain about Fedor vs. Carwin because Carwin is in the UFC….but I have been seeing a lot of bitching about Fedor potentialy fighting grim, and that would NEVER happen if Grim was in the UFC. The more I think about it the more intruiged I am to see Fedor vs. Grim especially in Fedor’s 1st fight in a cage.

Whether people like/believe it or not Grim and Overeem are both top 10 right now. As such Fedor beating them up means that his resume is once again bolstered by top 10 opponents which = no one can claim he’s not #1 anymore.

See, I actually think Werdum would sub (and subsequently expose) Rogers.
Not saying Rogers isn’t a legit fighter. Just saying that I don’t think his ground game is anything to brag about.

This fight didn’t prove anything in my opinion, Werdum is still clearly a poor striker and excellent on the ground and a quick submission over Kyle doesn’t change that. He’d be a tough fight on the ground for Fedor but would be KO’d before it got that far anyway.

Fedor has beaten the best BJJ HW there is in NOG. Nog has a stand up game to set up his BJJ takedowns. Werdum has the stand up game of a one armed boxer. Fedor will rock him on his feet and GNP in to the canvas.

First of all there is no fighter in Strikeforce that anyone believes has a chance against Brock so who really cares who he fights he can fight them all and I know my money and many other MMA fans money will not be supporting Fedor in BS fights. Yes he was the greatest HW during the PRide day’s but like Hughes/Wandy/Henderson/BJ/Chuck they all but BJ eventually lost but we the fans will support them and always consider them a some of the greatest fighters of their time and if Fedor is like BJ then prove it? The UFC is the Colosseum of the modern era with out a doubt the largest MMA fan base in the world hands down and we all asked for Fedor to come test his abilities were it matter most but instead he decided not to listen to the fans yet believes he is god and his fans and many MMA fans will follow him down the path of padding his legacy with sub par competition and in a second class organization? There are some fools out there that feel safe being a fan of Fedor because they will alway’s be a ble to call there man undefeated “look at his recor it speaks for itself”. F#ck that most MMA fans are smart enough to realize none of the fights he can be in Stikeforce warrant any kind of top 5 ranking little alone #1. He is a farce in every since of the word stealing money from gullible want to be hardcore MMA fans who look as stupid as him hiding behind his record LOL!

He very well could be the one to fight Fedor, an undersized heavyweight. The reality of it is is that guys fight in weight classes about 15-20 pounds below the weight they actually walk around at.
