I wonder what kind of strategy captain paycheck came up with for her? Her strength and conditioning coach though seemed like a crazy hardass and wasn’t taking her whiny bitching!

I’m pretty sure the stategy is to try not to get her face all cut up, otherwise, she will be just another average skilled female fighter, with far less hype and fan base.

Yeah. I think that was the most serious interview I’ve seen her give. Many of the previous ones have usually been rubbish because of the interviewer asking dumb questions but Dave Farrah (spelling?) always does good interviews.

Hope she does well but I find it hard to see her beating Cris.

She seemed nervous though. I didn’t see that “I am gonna win” confidence that every fighter has during these interviews. Maybe she’s already folded mentally?

We’ll see. You can tell by her that she knows that this time she’s up against a legitimate opponent. She’s giving off the air of a respectful underdog anyway. She’s definitely nervous going into this one. Like she said things could go badly wrong in the cage against Cris.

My main concern with this fight, is her needing to disrobe completely in order to make weight.

I agree with her when she says she should be taken serious, and I’m sick of people asking about her if she’s single. However, she brings this all up on herself by doin all the sexy photo shoots and being flirty. And STOP answering questions that have nothin to do with MMA.

Gina has wayyy more to lose than Cyborg in this match up. That is why she is apprehensive about the whole thing. The whole “womens face of mma” thing must weigh heavy on her shoulders. I would like to see Carano win it and like Randy says. Cyborg may gas and if they work on conditioning there’s a chance right there.
