Hey Rob, Tito has only fought outside of the UFC once in his mma career. he only has 2 submission victories in 22 fights. so where did he submit these “tons of guys” u are talking about?

Tito runs his own business and is the best business man in MMA by far! He’s playing with media and using it to keep his name out there and stay a star in the biz, that’s why Dana and the boyz had to give him the contract he wanted!.. every mofo has an opinion of Tito Ortiz and that is exactly what he wants, he is the best in the game at hyping a fight and whether the words that comes out of his mouth sound good or not, he always gives a good speech and leaves ppl with some sort of emotion!

Tito’s biggest draws were when he was fighting Chuck. You are flat out wrong. Tito was a big draw, but Chuck was bigger. Chuck was involved in like 4 of the highest grossing PPVs in UFC history.

The bottom line is that Tito promoted attention with his pre-fight and post-fight bullshit, and Chuck got attention for having exciting fights that ended with KOs. Tito fights are boring as hell, and nobody gave a crap about his recent fights with Machida, Rashad or Ken Shamrock.

Infact Tito let both Couture and Chuck into stardom when he fought them, and then Couture and Chuck helped eachother with their trilogy, Tito made Rashad and Machida more wellknown too when he fought them, and it’s because of the simple fact that people watch Tito fight..

Tito were part of more record setting PPV’s at the times he fought than any other fighter in the UFC ever, he’s sold out arena’s faster than any fighter the times he fought too.. And he was the PPV king the year he fought Chuck on the NYE card!..

nobody gave a crap about his fights with Ken, Rashad, Machida? is that right? those are three of the bigger PPV’s easily top 10 all three of them..

His fights with Machida and Rashad weren’t even main events! Give it up RoB, Tito was a big name when the UFC had like three recognizable fighters. He’s still a decent draw, but it’s not because he’s great or exciting, it’s because people want to see him get smashed.

Soon people will have seen that enough. He won’t be headlining jack shit in today’s UFC. He is fading into obscurity faster than Jennna Jameson will suck off a stranger for a fur coat.

Trust me, if they were to have the fighters that sold the most tickets in the main events, Tito would have been in the main event on every single card he fought at..

the UFC will give you more Tito than ever, and they’ll rebuild his career and if everything goes according to the plan you’ll see him fight for the title once again!

RoBerto, how can you say Tito is a “great” business man?? What has he done to prove that he is? Just because HE always says he’s a great business man, doesn’t make it true.

reason he was out of work was because he questioned how Dana ran his business and the way he paid his fighters, If Tito wouldn’t have questioned anything and not tried to get the best possible contract he would have signed right away with any organization, case closed!
