Man, how do you get hit with that punch. That was like the most telegraphed overhand right ever. It would suck to go down in the history books as the guy who got taken out the quickest.

by Jeremyjackson on Aug 1, 2009 8:38 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah but think of how stupid bisping must feel? he went 2 rounds knowing his was coming and still got ktfo by it, shit happens man maybe he seen it coming but it was to late? or he reacted to the first punch and it was a fake? you never know what his head was thinking when dude threw that punch at him maybe he was even thinking to touch gloves?

Hey JJ what your picks for the main card next saturday.

by Drew on Aug 1, 2009 8:42 PM EDT up reply actions

Penn
Anderson
Sadollah
Grove
Neer

The Sadollah and Grove picks are not exactly rock solid though.

by Jeremyjackson on Aug 1, 2009 8:49 PM EDT up reply actions

Im taking a gut feeling, there should be no way for him to win but I just have a feeling he will, Im taking Forrest. And I think Neer is overrated and Pelligrino is underrateed so Im picking Batman the rest are the same.

by Drew on Aug 1, 2009 8:59 PM EDT up reply actions

Hey JJ I got the Exact same picks
Sadolla I really licked in tuff but he has been out without a fight for so long so maybe that wasnt a smart pick for me but I actually think he will win

by Nor Cal Mexican (formely Philicutioner) on Aug 1, 2009 9:17 PM EDT up reply actions

JJ good picks, but I got Florian…can’t stray from my Boston roots!

by Jake on Aug 1, 2009 9:22 PM EDT up reply actions

drew that gut feeling is me inside your head saying FORREST FORREST FORREST!!!! muahahahahaha

my picks are

bj the unstoppable at 155 penn by way of huge forehead and one goofy looking hairline

forrest by so ugly and stupid he likes every punch silva hits him with and it confuses silva into getting gnp’d to smithereens

hendricks man i hate going against amir but osu wrestlers are my guys to stick to and i dont jump off and on bandwagons

and pellegrino because neer annoys me

by randy murders on Aug 1, 2009 10:15 PM EDT up reply actions

Hendricks is no joke and could win, but I gotta go with my man Amir.

by Kobajack on Aug 2, 2009 12:31 AM EDT up reply actions

My gut is telling me to pick Forrest and Kenny, so that’s what i’m going with. if i’m wrong, big deal. I have to go with Hendricks, i’ve liked him since i saw him on that episode of Tapout.

by kitsunex on Aug 2, 2009 12:53 AM EDT up reply actions

penn
silva
hendricks
grove
neer.

osu baby! hope they don’t let me down.

by buttcrack obama bin laden on Aug 2, 2009 1:17 AM EDT up reply actions

Penn (although I bet a little on Kenny)

Silva
Hendricks
Grove
Pelligrino

Hendricks
Almeida
Pellegrino

Jay-

Now that you mention it, I didn’t even realize they were all favorites, because I haven’t put my bets through yet. Might be a first for me, but I calls ’em likes I sees ’em.

by Jeremyjackson on Aug 2, 2009 2:51 PM EDT up reply actions

I really liked Amir’s personality and heart on the show, but I picked CB in both of their fights and Amir proved me wrong, albeit just barely. This time I’ve got to go with Amir, but who knows. I’m hoping that training at a good camp like Xtreme Couture has polished up his game a little. He’s also done pretty well against accomplished wrestlers so far in his incredibly brief career.

by Jeremyjackson on Aug 2, 2009 7:40 PM EDT up reply actions

I saw that on Inside mma last night. Sick finish.

oh wow.

by MMA Wallpapers SF on Aug 1, 2009 9:31 PM EDT reply actions

Wow, just goes to show as Bas always says,

MMA 101 – Always keep your hands up !

by Casualfan on Aug 1, 2009 9:44 PM EDT reply actions

Bas was a great fighter, and that’s where it stops. This is a pathetic excuse for a telecast. Nobody ever knows who’s supposed to be talking. Bas is always saying some off the wall, random crap, or just makes weird noises. Kenny is ok, but gets lost about 10 minutes in to each show.

Oh, and the reporter from SI (Josh) is such an obvious Fedor lover. I believe he said that he believes that by not signing Fedor it’s more to the UFC’s detriment than M1’s. He also staretd in with the whole “the UFC should co-promote so they can give the fans what they want” garbage. He was spilling that junk over at BloddyElbow as well. Saying that only when the UFC gets Fedor will they be the “premiere” MMA organization (paraphrasing). BOOOOOOO!

MMA LIve on ESPN.com blows doors on this goat turd of a sportscast.

Sorry about all the negativity guys. I’m just still pissed at the commies for turning the deal down.

by Jrandolph on Aug 1, 2009 10:06 PM EDT reply actions

Bas is awesome, the show is all about him. Kenny’s job is just to fill in the blanks and give Bas someone to work off.

by eightyproof on Aug 1, 2009 10:52 PM EDT up reply actions

I like Kenny though. He’s amusing and he just likes joking around. He’s good.

by Kobajack on Aug 2, 2009 12:28 AM EDT up reply actions

I went to BloddyElbow today, first time in months, and read a bunch of Fedor is the good guy crap. That’s the last time I’m going there.

by Natas on Aug 2, 2009 12:47 AM EDT up reply actions

i stopped watching it. When they were defending EliteXC, that was enough for me.

Great K.O

off topic : Mania you should post this video on here it is a good video on ufc’s site titled UFC PRESIDENT DANA WHITE BREAKS THE LATEST UFC NEWS .. Released JULY 31 .
 http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=videoPlayer.home&gid=21535
and he talks all bout Fedor and the latest news he talks about the rich vs vitor . .. Fedor is not signing by the sounds of it.

by 36chamberz on Aug 1, 2009 11:43 PM EDT reply actions

this damn video is 60 minutes long

if you dont wanna watch and If you can suffer thru bad spelling then here ya go.

- seems like the door will always be open for Fedor but no co-promtion.

- Tito and Dana good friends again . Beef squashed.

- Tito says if he fought Frank Shamrock in strikeforce it would be the first death in mma

- coleman might be first fight back Tito.

- says he not intrested in resigning Tim Sylvia Or Andre Arloviski.

- a reporter mention’s of Chuck Liddel using twiter to express the want to fight Tito And Dana says He doesent know if he would do that fight

- Dana says he always ready to make a deal with Fedor and they call him anytime And he says he really wanted that deal to go through .

- back in july in one of his video blogs about the Dana’s Huge anoucment that will change ufc forever .. Well he says he is still working on it and that these things take time. says he very very close.

- says he spoke with bud lite over the Brock thing. says he apologized to them and its all worked out.

- UFC in Mexico is gonna happen.

- Fedor thing again.. Dana Says They did Everything to make this deal happen and didnt hold back on anything . says its insanity to turn down a deal like this . Says if you turn a deal like this you dont care about fighting the best in the world and you dont care about money .. says how do you deal with someone like that.

- Co-promtion is a no no. Not just anyone can work with fertitas. they do full background checks and everything . Co-promtion will NEVER EVER HAPPEN . Doors open, the deal can happen just NO Co-promtion.

- Says the deal didnt happen because of M-1 and Vadim . says it was not Dana ( himself) and Lorenzo’s Fault.

- Fedor’s offer Stands . they call today , tomorrow , next month whenever. says he was offered an assload of money.

by 36chamberz on Aug 2, 2009 12:57 AM EDT up reply actions

how much was the assload? funny he never says how much. i was offered an assload of money to fight the guy next door! how much? 25 cents! LOL

by buttcrack obama bin laden on Aug 2, 2009 1:24 AM EDT up reply actions

Who knows, but both sides seem to be confirming that the co-promotion is the sticking point. I would assume that they did not have a problem with the rest of the offer. However, co-promoting means a butt load of more money. Look, it’s always about the money. Forget all the M1 pride, country pride and so on. Co-promotion means they make a ton of money…and, here I am talking about the stupid Fedor thing again. AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

by Jrandolph on Aug 2, 2009 10:17 AM EDT up reply actions

Of course Chuck wants to fight Tito. Tito is about the only guy at LHW who doesn’t have the punching power to turn Chuck’s lights out again.

by PW on Aug 2, 2009 12:08 PM EDT up reply actions

and it would be a huge ppv that liddell would make a shit load of money from the back end ppv’s~

i say if tito wins his first couple~ make it happen!!
