UFC Countdown to 101 debuts on Spike TV August 4

Countdown to UFC 101 will debut next Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 11 p.m. ET on Spike TV to promote the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pa., on Aug. 8.
The hour-long special presentation will provide a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show, including main event participants and heated rivals BJ Penn and Kenny Florian.
We’ll also get the skinny on the light heavyweight showdown that features Anderson Silva, stepping out of his comfort zone at 185-pounds to challenge the feisty Forrest Griffin, on the main card. And let's not forget about Ricardo Almeida taking on the dangerous Kendall Grove.
For those who miss the "Countdown to UFC 101" premier it will re-air on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 2 a.m. ET and then again on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. ET.

Hell yea!!! 9 days till the big dance. Can someone please tell me whether or not you’re allowed a guest to the Q&A session with one fight club membership. I was on that website and ppl were saying yeah 1 guest, but have also heard only fight club members.

From what I’ve heard, the Fedor press conference was so far a bunch of nothing.

Thats what funny to me, all the guys that act like they want keny to win really just want bj to lose, even if penn wins they’ll always refer to GSP. BJ could go on and beat Kenny, diego, huerta, sherk again, tyson and gomi again and it still wouldnt be enough, he’d finish them all in the 1st round and they would say he has no cardio, take them into the 5th and hes not ood enough to finsh them, you cant win with you guys . . . And besides the word of a confirmed egomaniacal lair, your evidence to back up this claim is…
BJ never produced the text in question, and in terms of a character comparison between Kenny and BJ and who I’d be more likely to believe – well, I think the answer to that is obvious.
Kenny had no reason whatsoever to do that, especially considering he’s tight with Georges and BJ had helped Lauzon prepare for Kenny. It makes no sense bro. BJ wanted to back up his weak-ass allegations, and he conveniently used the guy he was fighting next to do it.
It provides back-up for his stupid accusations and hypes his next fight and gets in his next opponent’s head at the same time. Kind of smart when you think about it, if totally underhanded. Kind of obvious, too…

Agreed. Unfortunitly making up story lines is another way to make up dollar signs in this industry lately, its just kind of elaborate, and it was Jason wienthraub that Kenny text, an author that kenny new that was researching Penn at the time. but what are the odds that bj finds out “somehow” that GSP will be greasing, lets the NSAC know about it, and they bust his *ss midfight. The situation is still not resolved as far as i know right, or has there been a ruling on the issue?

i was able to avoid that situation by getting into the electricians union at the last minute before my physical, lovin what im doin now though for sure, id probably be in afganistan right now otherwise. Moved up to northern cali for the job and been here for sometime now. Im off work til monday so lifes good bro, BJ might not have gotten anywhere with GSP, but hes still fighting so i couldnt really ask for more right now.
