WOW! To be honest I feel bad for Gina because she is so sexy, just look at Cyborg, she is a beast. Cyborg seems like she is more game to me, she’s hungrier than Gina, and she’s probably jealous that Gina is fine. Cyborg is going to do everything possible to make her ugly, but Gina is no joke either. Carano is very strong and smart, so we might be in for a good fight, which usually means that someone is going to get uglier. Get ’er Gina!

Come on guys, give em a little love, or respect at least! I don’t judge male fighters stepping into the ring based on their looks, nor would I for female fighters.
I don’t care what they look like, I have a lot of respect for them both and I think their bodies are gorgeous. Maybe that’s just because I’m a wimpy little yoga person who would never have the mental fortitude to walk into a ring and fight another human. Either way, I give em props for being as strong as they are and not caring what others are going to think. I wish I had their kind of strength. May the best woman win….

Seriously, I’m glad somebody finally made this point. Obviously guys are going to judge girls on their looks – right or wrong – but it’s getting kind of rediculous that every thread about this fight is nothing but “this one’s hot, this one’s not” comments.
Which is sad because while I don’t comment here much, I do read the comments all the time, and I think this is generally one of the more intelligent boards. But some people need to grow up a little with regard to the female fighters. If you don’t like women’s mma, that’s totally fine – I certainly don’t like every single women’s fight, just like I don’t like every single men’s fight – but at some point, it would be nice if we could all get over the “she looks like a dude” stuff.
And no, I’m not some uptight b-tch who can’t take a joke, but the joke’s been made 8,000,000 times at this point, so, you know, maybe it’s time to move on a little – just saying.
