I still see holes in that card John…fill me in. Who is Sakuraba fighting? I’m assuming CC off? I’ve got Mach winning WW and am REALLY looking forward to Melvin KOing Filho.

Dont get me wrong, I like this match up…but everytime I see the word strikeforce, I cant stop to think that those words should be followed by:

OVEREEM VS. Werdum, instead of Carano/cyborg.

Overeem werdum will be an amazing and very competitive fight. I will probably be betting some money on Werdum, assuming he is at a +175 underdog or more which I expect him to be, because the American public doesnt know how good he really is, and people remember him most recently for being KO’ed in style by Dos santos when he came into the fight fat and out of shape.

No chance in hell that Werdum comes into a title fight in anything less then the best shape of his life. I think the strikeforce hW title will change hands in a few weeks.

Man i am more worried about werdum. He was killing him the whole round before he went overeem and gassed allowing himself to straight up get white belt kimura’d from the guard. He couldn’t have defended it so easily if he wasn’t gassed.

Gotta say i am way more psyched for the aoki shaolin fight than anything else in Japan right now. Shaolin will be top 5 after that fight.

Does it really make a difference what the main event is? GSP deserved the main event at 100 more than Mir and Brock put together IMO…but in reality the biggest story gets the main event, and the first women’s title fight in a major mainstream(*opinions vary) promotion is a big story, whether guys with shaved heads and tough-guy tattoos disagree or not.

Looking forward to this card….100% certain the entertainment value will blow the over-hyped 100 out of the water.
