Looking good!

Man, I would love to see Kimbo vs Royce Gracie! Now that I would pay for, it would be like the UFC of old…and their abilities are possibly close in terms of where you would rank them in the world of MMA these days.

by noneed4name on Jul 10, 2009 7:00 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

lol I wouldnt pay to see that trash kimbo is a bum and from what i been hearing kimbo lost his first fight in utf 10

by metallica141 on Jul 10, 2009 11:41 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Royce would kill him. Kimbo even admitted to training very little on the ground, so if Royce gets him there, it is just a matter of time.

I heard this fan expo sucks. a bunch of douche bags in tight tap out shirts getting all bent if you look at them or accidently bump into them!

but you have to love the mental midgets…I do….they make me feel great about myself.

I’ve had that same experience watching fights at bars once or twice.

I won 700 on a baseball parlay last night, thinking of dropping the max (500) on alves after seeing that elbow!
Hey chef, good to see you, you wanna come to 101 with the rest of us?

by kevin on Jul 10, 2009 3:57 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

its going to get drained!!!

by McArthur on Jul 10, 2009 4:28 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Man I wish I could. Today is my first vacation day since I started 7 months ago. And I took today off solely so I could go out drinking last night!! Kids out of town for 11 days! What is the deadline on getting back to you?

by chefdaddy on Jul 10, 2009 4:33 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

C’mon guys … let’s not sully UFC 100 by discussing Kimbo on the eve of awesomeness!

by Jeremyjackson on Jul 10, 2009 4:33 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I’d rather discuss Kimbo than listen to anyone else tell me that GSP’s elbow is in bad shape…I’M FREAKIN OUT OVER HERE!!!

by McArthur on Jul 10, 2009 4:35 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Its not a big deal, Mac. His elbow has looked like that before.

by OJR on Jul 10, 2009 4:37 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hahahaha… I feel you, brother.

We’re gonna take a few deep, deep breaths and we’re gonna get through this, Mac. Fighters are always banged up going into fights … this injury is just more freakishly obvious than usual. Eyes on the prize, dude.

Yes we can!!!

by Jeremyjackson on Jul 10, 2009 4:39 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hahahaha!!!

An Obama quote. I love this site.

Maybe he was drunk. I know I was last night.

by RyanHobbs on Jul 11, 2009 9:48 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I was there today. It was pretty cool, got mad signatures and pics with a bunch of fighters. The UFC booth was about an hour wait so I didnt try that. There were a BUNCH of meat faces there today also. So Kevin you are half right, but it was awesome to meet some of the guys like Carwin, Cain, Swick, Lashley, and so on.

by Fokman on Jul 10, 2009 10:32 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Aren’t there a lot of supplement companies handing out free shit? I know some people don’t care too much about that, but I always get as much shit as possible from those companies. haha.

by naturalshadow on Jul 11, 2009 4:20 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yea I got a bunch of supplements.

by Fokman on Jul 11, 2009 12:21 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

had a ton of respect that dana dissed this guy but then he became a hypocrit by putting this fool on this show. he’s not even good enough to be on tuff. he’s a 35 year old thug that is a black eye for the sport and hopefully he brings in new fans but as someone who followed mma for a while, i cant stand seeing him get this platform but hey thats business. hopefully dana just uses him to draw some ratings and he gets bounced outta the ufc faster than he came in.

by bobby o'shea on Jul 10, 2009 3:37 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

This is an absolute no brainer/win win situation for dana!!! Kimbo comes on, Dana gets the ratings he wants. Kimbo wins (won’t happen) he gets a fighter. BUT…if Kimbo loses….Dana will use that as a big ’ol f u to all the people who think Kimbo is the greatest ever, and who might then in turn watch UFC cuz their favorite fighter got his butt handed to him.

by chefdaddy on Jul 10, 2009 3:44 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

agreed…Kimbo comes off as a good personality and nice guy too bad he is 35 and not 25

by Robert(1) on Jul 10, 2009 4:08 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Agreed…Kimbo is patient, Kimbo is learning, Kimbo is respectful, Kimbo is aware of his skill and all the things he has to improve on…you gotta commend a guy on that..

Unfortunately in the fight game, Kimbo is an old man. He has the desire…but, youth is the ‘upside’ Kimbo doesn’t have.

by TabascoSAUCE on Jul 10, 2009 5:12 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Relax dude. Worse fighters have been on TUFF. I mean…it’s TUFF! Its not like they put homeboy straight onto a card. He may never even have an official fight in the octagon.

by Jon on Jul 10, 2009 3:46 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

actually some reports are claiming that he has a signed ufc deal for after tuf is over regardless of the outcome on the show. I know keith jardine had the same thing with the ufc when he was on tuf 2. im sure kimbo will get at least one ufc fight no matter what happens, even if its on the finale on a fight night card.

by bobby o'shea on Jul 10, 2009 4:22 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

why are you “sure of that?” Dana has specifically said the only way Kimbo will fight in the UFC is to win TUF!

by kevin on Jul 10, 2009 4:27 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

He never said he had to win the show, he just said he had to go thru the ultimate fighter.

by Fokman on Jul 10, 2009 10:33 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

fighters like kimbo started this sport. how much different is he than a lot of the men that participated in ufc’s 1-10. i don’t see anything wrong with there being a place for him.

by deuce 4 on Jul 11, 2009 9:44 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

It takes a big man to do what he is doing. I hope that dana doesn’t F him over in the end by just using him for ratings.

by Owen on Jul 10, 2009 3:45 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

how would that be using him? using him would be putting him as headliner of a UFN against an opponent that will kill him and paying him 25k.

by kevin on Jul 10, 2009 4:10 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

True kev!

by Alpha Male 360 on Jul 10, 2009 4:34 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I mean use him to get rattings for the show but then not give him a fare shot after the show. Like if he doesn’t win he will still get a fight on the card.

by Owen on Jul 10, 2009 4:36 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

what do you mean a “fair shot?” dana said he’d only get into the UFC if he won TUF. if he doesn’t win, he got his fair shot! right?

by kevin on Jul 10, 2009 4:46 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yes that is a fair shot, agreed. Dana gives some of the fighters that don’t win on the show more of a shot then others (post show). What I meant was that I hope that kimbo gets to fight even if he doen’t win the show. I was not realy a fan of kimbo but he is not such a bad guy. And he has proved that by going on the show.

by Owen on Jul 10, 2009 6:15 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I am sure that Kimbo will be competing in the UFC after TUF win or lose. Just like Junie Browning.

by RyanHobbs on Jul 11, 2009 9:50 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

if kimbo fought mike brown or miguel torres who thinks he would win? i would take both other guys every time

by bobby o'shea on Jul 10, 2009 3:48 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

haha you’re an idiot

by Jesse on Jul 10, 2009 4:02 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

yep

by McArthur on Jul 10, 2009 4:06 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

skill will always beat size lol, ok maybe not with that size discrepancy but still

by bobby o'shea on Jul 10, 2009 4:11 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Surprised to hear how humble Kimbo is, which is good. So after TUF, are we going to see a super fight between him and BJ since Dana said BJ could kick his ass!?

by VNDK8 on Jul 10, 2009 3:53 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Kimbo is one of the smallest guys in weight and one of the oldest guys on TUF10. He’s not beating Roy Nelson.

by Vee on Jul 10, 2009 4:05 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

theres a video on spikes’ website which shows kimbo in one of his tuf fights. he’s standing while the guy is on the ground covering up. im sure thats his first fite and they gave him a tomato can guy to fite. i think there is one guy on the now with no pro fites if im not mistaken, mite be him.

by bobby o'shea on Jul 10, 2009 4:13 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

also from his shorts and cornermen it looks like he’s on rampage’s team which is going to be fun to watch. i know its entertainment so its cool but i wana see what wes sims does too. they should bring frank mir as a guest trainer on the show and see was sims does lol.

by bobby o'shea on Jul 10, 2009 4:21 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah it looks like he’s wailing on the guy…..should be interesting.

by MauiPimpin on Jul 10, 2009 4:25 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

KEEP THE FUCKING SPOILERS TO YOURSELVES. RUINING THE SHOW FOR THOSE OF US WHO WANT TO SEE IT WHEN IT AIRS DOES NOT MAKE YOU COOL. YOU DOUCHEBAGS.

by PW on Jul 10, 2009 5:02 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Kimbo loses his first fight, so my guess is thats training or just a promo!

by kevin on Jul 10, 2009 5:19 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yep. Kimbo loses his first fight. That’s fact!

by Ace on Jul 10, 2009 7:57 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

PW you are a fucking moron. It’s on the front page of Spike TV. It’s not a fucking spoiler if it’s available for all to see at anytime on a legal site; the network that it airs on for christ’s sake. You douchebag.

This expo sucks. We have been in line since 10:30 to see chuck and Randy and now it’s 1:30 and still waiting. In order to get autographs you had to buy the $500 VIP pass otherwise you are screwed.

by Gritchie4 on Jul 10, 2009 4:36 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

is that like the 100k license fee the ufc is charging all sponsors now for its fighters???

that sux to basically just keep trying to make as much cash as possible even on the die hard fans.

by bobby o'shea on Jul 10, 2009 4:43 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Seriously though…what fucking language do some people speak?

by introvert on Jul 10, 2009 4:37 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Kimbo will get crucified by Roy Nelson in his first fight. You heard it here first! When you watch it and see it happen, be sure to email me.

by Ace on Jul 10, 2009 7:55 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

yeah we will, since I posted it a month ago!

by kevin on Jul 10, 2009 9:29 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah, I’m SURE that would be a shock to everyone.

by KS on Jul 10, 2009 9:49 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

boy i can’t wait for pot-bellied no skilled roy nelson to be in the ufc. WOW!!! talk about a changing of the guard in the HW division!! WOW!! he’ll be the undisputed king as long as he wants it! lol, what a joke, this guy has no business doing anything tied in with the ufc. At least kimbo looks in shape and cut up and resembles a dedicated fighter in appearance. roy nelson thinks this sport is easy, that u can just be in so so shape and compete at a high level. he needs to get out of the sport before he gets a hernia
