and bonnar is’t even a bet, it is a gift..

by shamo84 on Jul 9, 2009 1:57 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

i got danzig, alves, belcher, lesnar all not favored but all got a good shot at winning

by JG on Jul 9, 2009 2:07 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I’d throw a little on Coleman after Bonnar’s last limp performance.

I bet mir/bisping/alves in a parlay…it pays 25-1

by kevin on Jul 9, 2009 2:24 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I got early money on Bisping at +300 (but I want to lose this bet, it would just be some money to dry my tears)

I got a parlay of Brock/GSP/Fitch/Jones that pays out like +180

And I got a +300 bet that Brock finishes the fight in the first round.

So far…

by ViolentMike on Jul 9, 2009 2:24 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

+300? those are shitty odds mike. betus has the 1st rd at +600

by kevin on Jul 9, 2009 2:34 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Alves is good for betting right now.

5 rounds, he will have a few shots at knocking GSPs head off.

by Bennie Blanco on Jul 9, 2009 3:01 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

+600 for MIR to finish the fight in the first round. I’m going with the winner, Brock. I just noticed the props yesterday and they are still the same today for Brock to finish in Round 1

+300 Yes
-500 No

I would have loved to get +600, WOW!!!! But I can’t imagine them opening that high.

And my parlays a bit closer to +190…

VM: YOU see how you bet Bisping but hope that Hendo wins? THats the situation I find myself with Belcher. I bet Belcher but Im praying that Akiyama wins. I will just never again bet on a fighter from Japan making a UFC debut. Cardinal sin!

I got money on everybody! Its just a mess!

kevin, theres no way all 3 of the main events are gonna be upsets, more likely youll win the lotto or something

by brendan on Jul 9, 2009 4:17 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

John I feel the same way. I have been betting a little bit each day for a month or so. Saturday I’m going to print out my bets and Be like how many fn bets did I make? LOL

by BOW on Jul 9, 2009 4:34 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Akiyama will win, john. No doubt. Everyone else is pretty much set but here are my upset picks that i won’t bet on – Paulo Thiago (that’s right he’s the Sok of 09, it’s written in the stars) and the Hammer (via lnp).

by NameNotRequired on Jul 9, 2009 6:57 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

VM Im with u on Bisping VS Hendo ,,, I got $400 on Bisping at 3-1. HOWEVER’’’ if Hendo wins it’ll be the best $400 I ever lost.

by DAVE A on Jul 10, 2009 3:32 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I’d put some cheese on Bisping EVEN THO i’m going for DAN for the W!

forgot about Mac/Miller…should be a good tilt

by McArthur on Jul 9, 2009 1:56 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Belcher and Mac looks really good imho. Id prolly hold out on the Alves bet.

by Dayzah on Jul 9, 2009 1:58 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I’m putting alot on the underdogs of this card. I think there is some risky, but rewarding action. Belcher I think has a great chance at a win.

by Miketsi on Jul 9, 2009 2:00 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Bisping was + 300 so who is betting on him?

by Tony on Jul 9, 2009 2:05 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I’m betting $400 on Bisping at +300 but I’m a Hendo Fan… strange huh?

by DAVE A on Jul 10, 2009 3:35 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

a $20 parlay on Alves, Bisping, Mir pays out about $500. Count me in for that.

by RyGuy on Jul 9, 2009 2:20 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Mir is going to F you on that one.

by PW on Jul 9, 2009 3:02 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

its all around f’ed

by McArthur on Jul 9, 2009 4:42 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Alves, Belchar and mayyybbbeee Paulo Thiago for dog bets!

by pwilson on Jul 9, 2009 2:23 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

best parlay on this card is belcher bisbing in my opinion mac danzig not a bad call to.

by desperus on Jul 9, 2009 2:46 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I still think Bones Jones looks good at -450 against O’Brien, but i prob won’t put any money on him just because of the 4 oz gloves and all. I’m going to be putting a few bets down on this card though. So many good fights and the money will make it all the more exciting. For my bets I got:

Lesnar
Alves
Hendo
Miller

For my predictions (not betting on some due to the odds):
Lesnar
Alves
Hendo
Miller
Fitch
Belcher
Bonnar
Dolloway
Miller
Jones

a 4-way dog parlay Mir to Alves to Bisping to Thiago risk $100 to pay just over $12,000. I’m shocked at the number of people talking Alves here. For those of you betting Alves, you may as well take the 4 fight parlay that i just listed……I understand the chances are next to impossible, but so are the chances that Alves will win that fight. Any wager on Alves is wasted money. I realize that’s an attractive number, but anyone betting parlays should leave him out as it will wreck everything else.

i always bet on my most hated fighters so that i win either way…

and i always bet against my favorite fighters for the same reason…

i fucking HATE hendo…but i’ll put money on him…

i fucking LOVE brock…but i’ll bet against him…

that way regardless of the outcomes i win either way…cause believe me, its worth losing 20 bucks to see bisping beat hendo…but if hendo dry humps bisping to a decision then i at least get paid to sit through that misery…

same thing with brock..its worth losing money to see him win..but if i have to see him lose then at least i get paid for my misery…

betting is all psychological for me

I think the favorites are going to pull through big time on this card, the chance of winning big looks good on the dogs but its just a gut feeling, bet on the favorites in this one, we’ll talk sunday and see if I’m right.

$100 Parlay

Mir
Bisping
Danzig
O’Brien

by lukasz on Jul 9, 2009 7:35 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

that would pay just over $9,100. Wouldn’t that be a nice one!!
