Have you guys seen that BJ has brought in the Diaz boys to help him train for Kenny? BJ is gonna own Kenny (who I am a big fan of being from MA and all)!

Alright guys, with UFC 100 upon us, it brings us a bit closer to 101. As many of you know, we have about 15 or so maniacs going to 101, we got a luxery box for the event. The box includes food/beverage. I can order 4 more tickets. if you’re interested, email me

on another note, the Fri night before 101, we are planning to go to Ruth’s Chris and then possibly a gentlemen’s club. If you want to go with us to dinner, also contact me. I’m trying to get a head count so that I can make reservations. You DO NOT have to be in the suite to go to dinner. ANYONE that is in philly for 101 is invited to go to dinner with us!

WB posted 16 seconds after me. my post got hung up in moderation and his showed up, then when mine came out of moderation it was put where it belonged (according to the time). See how easy that was to figure it out!

My Philly friends get the same treatment by me….it just real tough time in my life, busting my ass to get it together. Come July 15th..everything will be back to normal and We will talk n get it together.

For a meat lover there is really no other option. I was actually reading teh UFC 100 magazine and they were asking fighters their favorite Restaurants, and Ricardo Almeida gave Fogo in Philly amajor shout out. PhilQny will tell you…from there the Gentlemans club you want to be at is easily OASIS.

thats exactly the type of place it is Kevin! They feed you meat till, you cant possibly fit anymore in your body…and its actually pretty cheap. Its like a $40 all you can eat deal. THey bring around the big slabs of meat on a Bone, and just slice the meat off right onto your plate.
The gentlemans club is a no brainer…OASIS is the spot to be!

sounds like fun kevin, i couldn’t go not because i didn’t trust you with the money but when you switched it from vegas to philly it would be too much for me, i could drive to vegas philly i would have to fly plus hotel food and either fly right back or miss a day or too of work and i already have shelled out for 2 vacations this year, so if the next trip is in vegas count me in.

Paulo is a bjj black belt and supposedly has really good chin. Fitch isn’t a boring ground fighter either- he’s tough as nails, has great recovery and stays very composed when he’s in danger. Fitch all the way!

I dont really see how any of us have seen anywhere near enough footage needed to even make it worth predicting this fight. I know I havent!
Queen Smith: From what I hear, everything you praised Fitch for, Paulo has as well. Imo, what seperate Paulo from most of the other undefeated fighters we havent heard of that make their UFC debut is his cOMPOSURE. LIke Fitch he is tough as nails with a great recovery..but his composure is a major asset to him. THis guy is a brazilian special forces dude, who goes to war against drug Cartels for a living. I doubt we will see Paulo rattled too often in the Octagon.
From what I hear, he has a sick ground game, and is a high level Brazilian Ju jitsu black belt. He obviously has heavy hands and a great chin. I havent seen enough of him to make a prediction but I have a feeling that this will be a hard fought fight. Fitch, who I like isnt really a finisher, combine that with the toughness of these two fighters and this fight is destined to go in the hands of the judges.
I have a feeling that this is going to be a very competitive fight and that Paulo is going to surprise a lot of people. Dont misinterpret that as me saying Fitch is going to lose. I will be SHOCKED if either fighter finishes the fight

Kev, I agree that no one is interested in GSP vs Fitch II (except me) but I find it hard to believe that they’d still let Alves fight if he missed weight?
I hope that’s a non-issue because I’m really looking forward to watching Alves get KTFO in the 3rd.
Paulo maybe special forces or a GI Joe for all I care, he still won’t KO Fitch with his weak@ss upercut. Fitch by GnP in the 2nd

Queen Smith- John you’re a riot. I haven’t seen any extra footage of him, but you answered a lot questions I had about him though. Thanks for that. Do you know anything about Paulo’s wrestling? If he’s losing the striking game my guess is that Fitch can keep it standing.

Dsmith: I answered questions from what I hear…I havent actually seen it with my own two eyes…. I can pretty much guarantee that his wrestling sucks! All Brazilians wrestling sucks until they start training in America…Paolo hasnt trained in America yet, so i expect Fitch to have a major wrestling advantage…but for all I know, Paulo might have a razor sharp guard, which would make this fight really interesting!

I agree he’s up for a title shot, but in my opinion, not against GSP. GSP (if he wins) should vacate the title and concentrate on MW. He’s cleaned out the WW division and quite frankly I see no one that is capable of giving him a challenge at WW any more! This is an honest opinion coming from the biggest hater of GSP, but a true supporter of what he does!

Sorry kev but there is no way that he’d vacate the title altogether. I think he may take a fight a MW while we wait for the winner of Swick/Kampmann or maybe Hughes/Fitch if Fitch wins but there is no way that GSP would walk away from his title. They let Penn and Silva move weight classes while holding their titles so I see no reason to not let GSP do the same. He knows his legacy is in the WW division.

I don’t even get this matchup. Why is Fitch, a guy with a huge string of wins in the UFC, fighting a newcomer with a single victory which was arguably due to a lucky shot? Is it simply because he wants to “avenge” his teamate? That sounds ridiculous, what does Kos get out of him beating the piss out of this guy? A bunch of people wondering why he didn’t do it himself, that’s what. And then what happens if Thiago WINS? He gets catapulted upward while Fitch and Kos’s camp suffer even more humiliation. Seems like very little to gain with a lot to lose.
Someone enlighten me.

I would have like to see Fitch get someone more reputable especially after coming off a Title shit and a win over international fighter Akihiro Gono!
It seems teamates always fight the same person.
Jardine and Evans faught both Lidell and Forrest
Fitch and KOS faught Diego (SO happy to see them give him back to back losses) and now Paulo.
Is it True (without me looking) that KOS is set to face TRIGG????
I would LOVE absolutely LOVE to see Twinkle Toes back in the UFC and with his age and experience i’m glad they’d be throwing him into the deep end! Would be a GREAT fight forsure!
TRIGG vs : KOS, Fitch, Swick, Alves, BJ, Karo (just to see Karo get smashed) would all be fights i’d pay to see.
TRIGG could be the official GATE KEEPER for the WW division. An exciting experienced fighter who will beat the majority outside the ELITE!
