'Rush' to judgement: St. Pierre picks Florian over Penn in fighting and in life

Props: MMAWeekly

Quoteworthy:

"I've trained with him two times and he looked really sharp. I put my money on him against B.J. Penn. Kenny Florian is a great training partner, and is going to be a great champion, and he's also a greater person and human being (than B.J. Penn)."

Current UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre picks Kenny Florian as the new lightweight champion on August 8 when "KenFlo" battles current 155-pound Kingpin BJ Penn at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA. "Rush" apparently hasn't warmed up to "The Prodigy" as a person (must be all that grease-related stuff) and as such, picks Florian as the better fighter -- and human being. Can't we all just get along? I guess not, or there would be no reason for this sport in the first place.

Its not like GSP wouldve said that BJ’s gonna win especially after training with Kenflo… anyways I think that he’s right BJ IS GOING DOWN!!!

it’s all BJ ken flow is a bitch the only reason i would want flow to win is so diego can say yes going to the octagon flow just starts getting flash backs of the first two minutes of the last fight they had

by sleeper on Jul 3, 2009 1:07 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

No matter how much people don’t like BJ, you have to find it hard for Flow to beat him in:

Striking?
BJJ?
Wrestling?
Strength?

GSP could dominate in these areas but Flow? Not sure.

How about heart ( he won’t quit in his corner) and cardio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Rich on Jul 3, 2009 2:50 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Doesnt matter what happened in the GSP fight Rich. Get OVER it! Florian isnt GSP. Kenny doesnt have enough to throw at BJ to even make him close to quit!

Only way Kenny can win this fight is via decision. He doesnt have the tools to finish BJ…and its not Kenny’s fault. bJ is just too tough of a human being at 155 lbs. Only guy, IMO can can come close to bJ’ss toughness at 155 lbs is Diego.

I dont think Kenny can last 25 minutes with bj Penn on top of him. Sorry, I just dont see it and anyone who thinks Kenny will be on top is sadly mistaken. I dont like Kenny’s personality, but I think the world of him as a fighter and I always look forward to his fights, so I really dont underestimate him…but bJ is a once in a lifetime athlete/fighter…People say Kenny can win a decision, but I doubt that too. Now a days, Judges just give the round to whoever spends more time on top, and that will be BJ Penn by a far margin. Only thing Kenny can do to BJ is throw those brutal elbows off his back, like Diego was doing to Clay. Only difference is unlike that leg humper, Clay….BJ will posture up and drop Bombs, that kenny’s face wont be able to deal with. Kenny has never been hit in the face like that before. BJ dropping bombs on you is a lot different from being hit by sherks t-rex arm punches that Kenny was able to withstand. BJ has so many ways to end this fight, as where Kenny’s only hope is to win a decision…25 minutes is a really long time to avoid being finished by the greatest lightweight to ever fight in MMA!!! Not to mention BJ is obviously in great shape since he was already only 11 lbs away from his mark like 2 weeks ago.

I think Kenny would have a much better shot against BJ is a 3 round fight, because he would only have to survive 15 minutes to make it to the judges as opposed to 25 minutes in which he has to fight BJ for.

In a 25 minute fight, the fighter that can finish the fight in many different ways has a MONSTER ADVANTAGE against the fighter that needs thte judges to win the fight!

with that said: BIG ADVANTAGE BJ PENN!!!!

by JOhn G on Jul 3, 2009 4:20 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

thats the first time I’ve heard someone say advantage Penn in the championship rnds

On paper. . . yes BJ will destroy him. Lets let them fight and see who comes out on top at the end of there fight. Remember guys, A fight can go any way.

John must be high!

by Alpha Male 360 on Jul 3, 2009 4:45 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

John, two words – body kicks. And circling out obviously for the first two rounds. Mix in some hellbows and you’ve got a recipe for a gassed out bleeding BJ.

by NameNotRequired on Jul 3, 2009 6:25 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I am and i know that Kenny will have better cardio than BJ.

by belfort_fan on Jul 3, 2009 6:39 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

No im not high, YET. Im just not dumb enough to use arguments that were valuable years ago when describing a fight TODAY! Fact of the matter is, that it has literally been YEARS since anyone has seen BJ come into a fight in anything less then stellar shape, yet the dislike that people have for BJ’s personality cause them to pick against BJ in this fight. Problem is, that when picking Kenny to win the fight no one has anything credible to say other than BJ gassed 5 years ago, so maybe that will help Kenny in this fight.

Since BJ has been coming into fights in great shape, why wouldnt a championship fight not favor BJ? He gets longer time to FINISH an opponent who’s only shot at victory is the judges scorecards!

ADVANTAGE PENN!

Kenny is a great fighter, top 5 for sure, so I have no problem with picking against BJ in this fight….but if you are going to pick against him come up with something better then “BJ used to gas years ago”…since underneath everyone’s hatred for bJ, YOU all know that he is better than Kenny at EVERYTHING. Put aside the fact that you dont like what comes out of BJ’s mouth for 1 second, bite your tongues, and admit that he wont be losing this fight!

Bottom line is. . . BJ isnt going to be able to keep up the pace that Ken Flo puts on him for 5 rounds. Im not talking shit. i mean he has better cardio than me.

by belfort_fan on Jul 4, 2009 12:33 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Egads: BJ didnt gas…He got the FOCKING Gas pounded out of him. THere is a big difference, and Kenny aint GSP!!!!

by JOhn G on Jul 4, 2009 8:18 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Thats true JOhn G. He did get the gas beat out of him in the second fight with GSP. He did gas in his second fight with hughes.

by belfort_fan on Jul 4, 2009 5:00 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Are you all mad? First his ribs were broken in the Hughes fight, a huge difference from gassing. Also to whomever thinks that elbows and kicks are going to win this for Florian needs to lay off the ganja. You don’t throw kicks at a ground specialist, at what point do you think Ken can use elbows? My best bet is Kenny keeps backpeddling trying to wear Penn out. The only problem is Ken is not good enough standing to avoid Penn like he did Huerta. Stop wasting everyones time on here, I know Penn has personality issues but in the ring there isn’t a LW out there who stands a chance against him. Get over it and learn to judge a fight by judging the fighters skills against one another and not using your own personal preferrence. Kenflo actually stands less of a chance at beating Penn than Mir does at beating Lesnar imo because Mir is actually better at submissions than Lesnar is… what is Kenflo better at?

by Cogito Ergo Sum on Jul 5, 2009 11:32 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I don’t find it hard at all to see Kenny beating BJ. Kenny might not be GSP, but he is still a lot like him, very smart fighter, sets a fast pace, excellent cardio, very well rounded, very hard to hit and even more so, finishes guys. People under estimate Kenny, Joe Daddy doesn’t go down easy (Diego couldn’t even finish him)and Kenny ran right through him in the 1st round. Not only will Kenny beat BJ, but he will also avenge his loss to Diego. BJ gets to much credit for his last 3 wins. He did beat them all convincingly, but Pulver has been destoyed by just about everyone in seconds (not 2 rounds)lately.Kenny destroyed Joe twice as fast as BJ and Edgar made Sherk look like an amature, even though he doesn’t have BJ’s KO power. Tyson Griffen also showed that Sherk is really nothing special. BJ is definity better than those 3 guys, but not by enough to rule the roost in the stacked 155 division. Kenny, Diego and Edgar are all going to cause him problems.

butters pierre is a great champion, and bj penn is and will still be a great champ, dont get it twisted!

bj ftw~ kenny will bring problems for bj, but not enough to defeat the greatest lw on the planet..

He better be prepared to go five rounds if he is, he should win but if he comes in out of shape Florian will beat him

by Mike on Jul 3, 2009 1:36 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

HE WAS ALREADY DOWN TO 166 LBS OVER 2 WEEKS AGO. That tells me he took this fight serious and he will be in great shape. I think the world of kenny as a fighter, but BJ Penn will NOT LOSE THIS FIGHT!! He is a world class fighter and easily one of te most skilled fighters in any division.

BJ Penn at lightweight = GREATNESS

Greatness (BJ Penn) was embarressed against GSP in his last fight. History says that the few times GREATNESS has been embarressed…greatness BOUNCED BACK WITH A DOMINATING PERFORMANCE. and when I say GREATNESS, I am not just talking bJ Penn..when I say Greatness, I mean: Jordan, Gretsky, Tiger, Ali….thats the type of athlete bJ Penn is when MOTIVATED…and when GREATNESS get embarressed, you better believe, GREATNESS WILL BE MOTIVATED IN HIS NEXT COMPETITION…Timing is everything, and I firmly believe that fighting bJ after being embarressed is the worst timing POSSIBLE.

Lets face it Kenny is an amazing fighter and easily top 10 worldwide, not just the UFC, and thats a BIG COMPLIMENT because most of the top ranked lightweights fight outside of the USA, and I think Kenny is as good as any or better…he just isnt better then BJ Penn.

YOU guys might hate BJ’s personality, but underneath all the HATE, none of you are that stupid that you question his skills…and when BJ Penn is motivated and fighting against lightweights…he is virtually unstoppable…and I dont say that about a lot of fighters, but at 155 lbs, when MOTIVATED, he CANT BE BEAT.

Sorry Kenny, the timing is bad! Mark my words, 2 years from now, Kenny will be the next Rich Franklin…good enough to beat every single lightweight, but not goods enough to beat the champ!

by JOhn G on Jul 3, 2009 4:32 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

john are you nuts? how can you compare penn to jordan, gretzky, tiger, and ali. bj is blessed with talent and ability. but he has wasted alot of time and talent. the thing that seperates the previously mentioned names from penn is that they matched their talent with dedication and drive. penn has been guilty of slacking off and skating by on his talent.

by day1er on Jul 3, 2009 7:17 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Fair Point! I was more talking about TALENT-wise though!

by JOhn G on Jul 4, 2009 8:20 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I like BJ,

but lets not go overboard comparing him with Jordan, Tiger, Ali….

Errrrrrr.

If you polled 100 people and asked who the best Basetball player of all time was, prob 95+ would say jordan. Golf again 95+ would say Jordan. Boxing 80-90+ would say ali.

BJ couldn’t get 10 out of 100 for best ever.

So I can’t put him close to that level

by Bennie Blanco on Jul 4, 2009 11:03 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I don’t agree. Jordan wasn’t that great at golf.

by PW on Jul 4, 2009 12:24 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Bennie- If you asked 100 people who the greatest LIGHTWEIGHT fighter of all time was, I guarantee you 95% would say BJ PENN! John’s point (I believe) is that BJ Penn is unbeatable at Lightweight, and I agree.

by haglnuts on Jul 5, 2009 1:29 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

good point haglnuts. Also a tip to all future posters, don’t compare MMA to any other sport. MMA is and always will be its own brand. Comparring it to other sports always leaves your comparrison open to debate and will make you look novice. Although here I think everyone is just being nit picky and won’t step up and just admit that BJ Penn is considered the Tiger Woods of the Lightweight division.

I agree, I want K-Flo to win, but will he? Not 100% sure. I still believe that BJ’s lazy ass is the best 155er. He just has to work harder to stay up to par with the other cats like Kenny who train hard & get better with every fight.
WAR K-FLO!!!

BJ BJ BJ!!! Kev, BJ/Diego?? Who you got if it gets to that point??? I personally don’t agree with everything BJ does or has done but I’ll say this. The man can fight and I appreciate his legacy as much as I appreciate GSP’s, Fedor’s, or Silva’s legacy…greasegate just got REAL ugly for us as you remember and I got sick of it…I personally blamed BJ but that doesn’t mean I can’t look at this fight objectively. They have plenty to choose from. There was one that might suite us best, at 9pm every fri they have gay midget dancing. The guy that answered the phone said it’s a good show and there is always a guy named JohnG there waiting to grease up the Ron Jeremy midget look a like. We may get special treatment there guys!
Anyways, a few of the nicer clubs have vip parties, let me know what you think. Even if you’re not in the suite and will be in philly, let me know! It will be a good time!

I wouldn’t be surprised to see BJ retire after beating Florian next month. His final act of ‘BJism’, as it were – robbing fans of a Penn/Sanchez scrap. I hope it doesn’t happen, because BJ might be a dick but he is a hell of a fighter… and he makes the LW division much better.

Call it a hunch. :-(

by Jeremyjackson on Jul 3, 2009 2:21 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

No way, he’s still got Sanchez to fight, then retire. I’ve been saying Penn/Sanchez could be fight of the year, but if Diego comes out like he did against Guida, he’ll be KO’d quick. He came in aggressively knowing Guida couldn’t knock out the hot dog vendor, but if he comes in like that against penn, he’s done!

by kevin on Jul 3, 2009 2:33 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

i hope not!! i really want to see bj fight diego..

by stinky~fingers on Jul 3, 2009 2:33 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Same here stinker. I just don’t know how motivated Penn is anymore. He doesn’t need the money and his pipe dream of holding two titles simultaneously ran into a big dose of reality called GSP.

Add to that the fact that he was planning to retire if he did win the WW strap … I think he didn’t want to go out on such a crushing defeat, and that he wants to end his career on a high note.

The guy could be training his ass off in a gym, or he could be relaxing on the beach in paradise smoking gaggers and receiving hourly reach-arounds from his sycophantic training partners/fan club. I think we’ve seen enough of BJ’s work ethic to guess which way he’s leaning.

102 looks deep… but the main event is years past being a huge fight. Also, it looks like 103 won’t have a title fight… I can’t remember two PPVs back to back without a belt on the line. 103 desperately needs a big name or two if it wants to sell itself. I’ve heard rumors of Liddell/Franklin, and I hope that sticks. And Wand/Leben should be a scrap. Add those to 103 and you have a deal. I think Franklin is a bit too high up for Cane. He should get Kryztoff. Would be nice to see him shut up by Banha.

JJ I usually agree with you, but you don’t give Cote enough credit. Did you see McFedries last fight? That’s why they keep him around, he is a great stiker. That’s about all he is good at and it won’t win him any belts in MMA, but he hits like a mac truck and has waaaaay more technical boxing than Wandy. If you don’t have the chin of Cote (and nobody does)and you don’t take McFedries down, you are more than likely getting KTFO and quickly. I would love to see those to fight.

by Bennie Blanco on Jul 3, 2009 2:15 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

What?

First, all GSP said was that he thinks Kenflo is the better human being/person. So he likes Kenflo more of course, they’re training partners. He didn’t say anything negative specifically about Penn. So as far as ‘getting over it’, that makes no sense. He likes Kenflo more and wants him to win, big surprise.

Second, you’re the one not being funny: ‘starting to think he wants to marry bj’ ???
GSP was making light of the whole ‘grease gate’ thing all the way through, for obvious reasons; but that’s an old and overdone debate. GSP is humorous and classy, clearly you are not.

You need to get over it. Rewatch the fight and pay attention to the beginning. BJ’s face was caked with vasoline and he rubbed his face with his gloves and then wiped his gloves on his upper abdomen.

I’m a Canadian. I’m born in Quebec. But GSP is really coming off just like the arrogant Quebecers do – the prime reason why I got out of that hole of a province.

I know GSP is respectful for the most part. But there’s something about the way he pokes shots that’s just lame.

And yeah, the whole “I paid a guy to kiss him” thing was pathetic. His delivery of the joke only made it that much worse…

Whats that all about? Hole of a province? Wtf are you talking about dude I’m a French Canadian and what you are saying about the province is arrogant and lame. Time to get the sand outta your Vajayjay

I’m not gonna turn this into a political discussion. But Quebec, compared to the rest of the country, is a whole. But as someone who likely lives in Quebec, I understand your defensive stance.

Don’t you worry though, Ontario is catching up. It sucks here too.

I’m French Canadian too. There’s even french/english division within my own family. But the French in Canada need to chill out.

Luckily, I’m bilingual. But if I go a lot of places in Quebec and speak English, the French are rude.

GSP making a comment about Kenny being a “better human being” is just lame. Seems very Quebecer to me is all I’m saying.

lol thanks for making me polish up on my French. Took me a couple reads to get it, but I did.

You’re right though, it definitely goes both ways. I live in a town in Ontario where there’s A LOT of French people, and yeah, some of the people I work with hate it when they get French people sat at their tables…lol

lol read Alpha, I said Ontario sucks too.

And I also know what you mean about a lot of people making an effort to speak English. But in my experiences, that’s only about 50/50. No matter where I am in Quebec.

And trust me, I spend plenty of time there between fighting (most of my fights happen in Quebec) and my family.

But don’t worry, Ontario is going right down the crapper.

An Ontarian and a Quebecer were walking along the beach and saw something shiny in the sand. They both grabbed for it, but neither would let go. A puff of smoke came out and a genie appeared and shook his head.

Genie- “Since neither of you will let go, I will grant each of you 1 wish, instead of one of you three wishes”

The Quebecer grins and jumps up excitedly – “Excellent. Our province should be its own country, and to keep the Anglophones out, please build an unscaleable wall around Quebec!”

The genie claps his hands together and a gigantic wall surrounds Quebec.

The genie turns to the Ontarian and raises an eyebrow.

The Ontarian glances over at the wall and says “Fill that up with water.”

Would’nt mma exist without personal conlicts? Sounds strange to me. I watch the sport because of the technical display and the intensity. Not to watch someone beat up a guy because i dislike/like them. And i’m sure there’s a alot of fighters who fight because of the fight and not the conflict.

Can someone please tell me what the fvck BJ Penn has ever done to have such a huge throng of nuthuggers?

Is it his talent? I still don’t get it with this guy, and I think he might be the most overrated fighter in recent history. I’ve heard and read so many comments about BJ one of the best P4P fighters in the world. What the hell has this guy done to warrant that consideration? Who has he beaten? He’s had chances against Hughes and GSP and came up empty. The dude’s record is 13-5-1 for christ’s sake!!! We’ve all seen how flexible the dude is, which is kinda cool i guess……I’d be willing to give him the title of “most flexible fighter in UFC history.” All that tells me is that he can svck his own crank.

Is it his dedication? not much to say there, his lack of cardio is well documented…….but he can carry a rock under water, so he’s got that going for him…..By the way, that was his big cardio excercise going into the GSP fight. Can anyone explain how holding your breath underwater is supposed to help you control your breathing?

Is it his personality? I wouldn’t know how to measure the amount of shit that spewed out of his mouth prior to and after the last GSP fight. He comes off as a whiny, spoiled rich kid that grew up as a big fish in a small pond. Anyone can say what they want, but he quit, plain and simple.

Is BJ Penn a good fighter? Of course he is, and he deserves that level of credit. I would even go so far as to say he’s a great fighter……..but this guy is nowhere near the neighborhood of being considered an all-time great, and it just baffles me as to how he’s developed such a large following of fans. What am i missing?

by kg on Jul 3, 2009 1:58 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Look at Penn’s record and who he’s beat. He has wins over GSP and Matt Hughes, two of the best welterweights ever. Not to mention many other noteables like Din Thomas, Jens Pulver, and Joe Stevenson. He dominated Sean Serk. The dude even went up in weight and hung with Machida for 3 rounds. He’s one of the best fighters in the world man. Like him or not, he has earned every bit of credit he gets. (And most of the shit he gets as well, IMO.)

by just some dong on Jul 3, 2009 2:44 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

He only has wins in what like 3 different weight classes and went 3 rounds with a Machida that outweighed him by at least 30 points not to mention he has beaten 2 Gracie’s at weight classes that aren’t even close to his natural weight. Oh and he has held belts in both LW and WW. Damn the guy has done nothing.

I guess when he makes Florian look average, people will see why BJ is the best Lightweight in the world.

by dredg XI on Jul 3, 2009 3:45 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hey, i’m a big boy and i’ll admit when i’m wrong. If BJ Penn makes Kenny Florian look average, i will tip my cap and eat my crow. I just don’t see it happening. I’ve been consistently watching the UFC events since about UFC 45 give or take a few. In that time, i just can’t recall BJ Penn doing anything that would make me think of him as a “legendary” fighter. I’m impressed with his win over Sherk. His wins over Stevenson, Pulver and Din Thomas don’t really do much for me. I do remember him getting manhandled by GSP, and an argueably over the hill Matt Hughes. It also doesn’t help that he acts like such a punk. I guess we’ll find out in a few months. That’s what i love about the UFC, they make all the great fights happen.

by kg on Jul 3, 2009 6:01 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

How philosophical… GSP distinguishes between “person and human being…” That just blew my mind. Okay, I digress. I have to say I agree with him though. If I were to lay down money it would be on Florian. I see Florian with better technique and conditioning, so he’ll pull a UD or stoppage. No iffy decisions, imo.

by themattking on Jul 3, 2009 2:14 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I think you’ve put words in GSP’s mouth. He said:

“Kenny Florian is a great training partner, and is going to be a great champion, and he’s also a greater person and human being.”

I think what GSP is simply saying is that not only is Florian a great fighter, but he’s an even “greater” person.

It’s obvious that English is not GSP’s first language.

To ADMIN:

NEWS:
“Lorenzo flew in to Zagreb to talk to CroCop”

source:http://www.index.hr/sport/clanak/ekskluzivno-vlasnik-ufca-dosao-po-cro-copa-u-zagreb/440197.aspx

Resumen:
INDEX finds out that Lorenzo Fertitta, big boss and the owner of the UFC landed in Zagreb with his private jet, this morning. He went to Mirko’s house straight away where he stayed for two hours talking with the Croatian fighter. He returned to the airport afterwards, smiling, where his private jet flew off in an unknown direction.

Filipovic got an offer that you don’t reject

No doubt Fertitta came to Zagreb all the way from USA just to try to persuade the Croatian fighter to change his mind and sign the contract with the strongest organization in the business. We find out that CroCop got the offer that you don’t reject just like that. Even tho Filipovic was unavailable to give any comments, it’s obvious that we’ll see a big turnover. We will, almost certainly, see CroCop in the world’s strongest organization once again, even tho the contract with Dream was almost signed.

Fertitta comes only for the greatest ones

We’ll remind you that CroCop refused to sign the contract with UFC after the Al-Turk fight, since he didn’t like the frequency of the fights that was offered to him (since he healed all his injuries). Filipovic stated that the UFC heavyweight title his lifelong dream, tho he didn’t want to wait six months to fight again in the octagon. Obviously, the American organization gave him better conditions this time. That CroCop worth’s alot to the UFC says the fact that Fertitta himself came to Zagreb to talk to Mirko. This was basically just an exception, since Dana White usually works out things like this.

My English isn’t perfect, but I hope it helped.

That’s good news. I’d like to see Cro Cop back in the UFC. With this fight…I think BJ’s opportunity to win is in the first two rounds if it goes longer Florian will have a far better chance of winning.

by Shadyone33 on Jul 3, 2009 3:29 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

BJ never beat GSP, but their first fight was very close. He’s got a win over Hughes when Hughes was in his unbeatable prime, coming up from lightweight to take the most dominant (at the time) WW’s belt from him with ease.

He’s the only guy other than Couture to be Champ in two weight classes. He won the world BJJ Championship after 3 yrs. training and was the first non-Brazilian to do so.

He beat Renzo Gracie— a grappling legend. He went the distance in a close fight with Machida, three weight classes above him. He finished Sean Sherk and Joe Stevenson in dominant fashion recently.

The only real mark on his record is his last fight. I admit that it was a huge blow to his career, not to have lost to GSP, but for the fight to have been so uncompetitive (though his did neutralize him in the first round).

BJ is still a legend in the sport. Plenty of legends have a number of losses on their record (Couture, Liddell, Big Nog, Cro Cop, etc). BJ is a shoo-in Hall of Famer and he’s still only 30. If he can learn from his loss to GSP, grow up as far as the trash talking goes and take his training as serious as possible, he’s only going to cement his status as the greatest LW of all time.

He needs to go out and beat Florian like he did Stevenson and Sherk. Not sure that he will, because Florian is ready for the fight of his life, but if he does than he will erase all of the doubts the GSP fight created.

by revjames13 on Jul 3, 2009 2:57 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

If BJ comes poorly conditioned like he does in pretty much every fight hes ever been in, he’ll lose.

by Mc19 on Jul 3, 2009 3:08 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Ken Flo will stay to the outside, through some funky Mauy thai strikes, and BJ will try to rush in to no avail.

We all know BJ will come in saying “I’m in the best shape ever”….two thousand times, but he has never looked good in later rounds of a fight.

I got Florian by HUGE upset decision.
